Locals call this place "Johnson's."
I review stores and this place just received a perfect score, 1.000, the only one I've given out.
Earl is a mastermind and a real champ. Johnson's is a great example of how to do everything right. Their hot food branding is just brilliant.
They did have deficiencies, but they were actively addressing them.
Most of these places have demons, and Johnson's has one named Jenny...

Courteous and friendly clerk. Very clean and neatly kept gas station / convenience store. Clean restrooms. Has bulk DEF pump and an RV fuel pump seeling ueaded and diesel.

Been going here for 25 years as a necessity when I'm in the area... they have everything. Catch a fish with nothing but a rod and reel and need to get it home cold 2 hrs away they got ya.... get an elk unexpectedly... I'm pretty sure they have game bags etc.... blah blah blahhhh...blah huh.... point is, they got YA!

Uhmmm that was terrible! I just walked in past the mask mandate sign to hear a man and woman cussing back and forth loudly. Turns out it is two of the employees in the kitchen area using extreme profanity, mind you I us the c word so I know their language was extreme, with their masks off over the food they are preparing. Also their was a child standing in the building having to hear this very loud conversation. So yeah decided not even coffee was worth the possibility of probably worse than covid in my drink or food. Good luck with that Shell.

Can be very pricey, but a great local stop. Grill is delicious, staff are friendly and not pushy, lots of options for food and drinks. Wish the building had more space.
