The strawberries I purchased today looked okay, but when I opened the box there was a moldy one right on top and half are soft and squishy. So much for a good deal on organic berries. It used to be that QFC was known for its customer service and wonderful produce. Not anymore.
When my children were little I chose to shop at QFC rather than a cheaper store like Fred Meyer because I could watch my kids while they took the groceries out of my cart and rang them up. Now, if you go before 8 a.m. or after 9 p.m. you're stuck doing your own self-service checking, which takes longer and costs stores more money. On top of that, the quality (the Q in QFC) isn't there.

Used to be a friendly place. Only the new employees say hi to you. The stockers in the morning will talk about you when you're on the other side of the freezer section from them. Self checkout staff has to do three positions, so hopefully you don't need help. The intercom has been broken for almost a week now, and even the employees are criticizing in earshot . I've never seen such a complacent staff, it makes me wanna apply for some easy money!

I have no issues with qfc in general, but today I saw an absolutely appaling interaction between the supervisor Sanice and an employee with disabilities. She was absolutely tearing him to pieces in front of the entire checkout, loudly and without giving him a chance to even talk. If I was in the same position I would have been absolutely humiliated and it's the last way I would treat someone doing their best to work despite their challenges. I'm honestly in shock that someone like that would ever be given a position over others in a store I've always considered welcoming and friendly.

I have no particular issue with QFC in general. Today, I made a phone call to this QFC store to have some informations. Whoever was in charge of answering this store's phone calls on June 6, 2024 at 1:05 pm, immediatly and brutally hung up on me without saying anything the first time, and put me on wait the second time I called.
If you don't have the mental/emotional intelligence/maturity required to work in a public-facing position or company, or you are unhappy with your job, please resign, stay home with your awful attitude, and let another qualified person have the chance to take your position at QFC Mukilteo and do their job with professionalism!
