Lucas at House of Wax did an awesome job detailing my Honda CRV and was a total pro! He was friendly, polite and confident interacting with customers. Travis was also awesome and did a great job communicating with me to get a quote and set up my appointment.

Brought my Range Rover here for a front end clear cover paint protection application after another local Mukilteo auto detailing outfit screwed my car up. Travis & his team did an outstanding job fixing my car. They kept me informed throughout the process and were a pleasure to work with. They also installed a ceramic 3 year full auto protector application. I will return to give them my future business !!

For some reason Yelp will not let me update my 2-star review so I am posting an updated review. After Travis read my 2-star review he reached out and wanted to make it right whatever it would take and in a few days he did. He stripped off the ceramic coating and did a full paint correction and applied their best ceramic coating and the car looks beautiful now. With this level of customer service, I signed up for their 12-month maintenance detail package. Looking back, I wish I would have contacted Travis directly before posting the 2-star review and I'm sure he would have made it right without me posting a negative review.

Set up appointment online, got confirmation email requesting I show up 10 mins early for my 9am appointment. Showed up 10 mins early as requested, right around the same time as another person who was also dropping off their car. Nobody is at/in the shop. We stand around...9am comes and goes. I call the company number and no response, but then get a text asking if I have any questions about detailing. I let them know that nobody is at the store and I'm told "Kavin will be there in a few mins" so I keep waiting. Another 10 mins go by (it is now 9:20 so we've all been waiting in the cold for 30 mins at this point) and Kavin (very young adult) shows up and offers to take our keys so we both hand them to him. As I hand over my keys he asks which service I was getting and I told him I couldn't remember the name of the one I booked, and wanted to confirm before leaving so that they wouldn't complete the wrong service, seeing as I was about to spend about $400 on this detailing service I thought that was fair to get confirmation before leaving, which I obviously couldn't get by just dumping my keys in a key drop. Kavin tells me that he can't confirm my service selection because he doesn't have keys to get into the office, and that his dad will "be there soon" and can confirm it for me once he arrives. I hang out for another 10 minutes and realize the dad is probably not going to show up anytime soon, and at this point I was feeling extremely doubtful about the professionalism of this place and about trusting them with my car. At this point, after waiting 40 minutes, I decided to listen to my gut feeling and go get my keys back from Kavin and leave. When I walked around the back of the shop, he was on his cellphone and seemed stressed/worried about whatever he was talking about on the phone. When he saw me walking up to him, he was so kind and apologetic and he seemed embarrassed and immediately handed my keys back. I feel so bad for him - he's clearly helping out with his dad's shop and getting put in really awkward positions where he is basically sent there to collect keys from people, and isn't even given a key to the office so he can do simple things like confirm the service the customer is dropping their car off for, or even just get out of the cold morning weather. As you can see in the screenshot, the actual owner never apologized or offered to return my deposit (they actually just ignored my request to refund it), that burden just falls on their son who isn't set up for success in his role. Advice: - stop requesting customers show up 10 mins early if you aren't there to greet them at that time. If you want people to respect your time, respect their time. - give poor Kavin a freaking key to the office! - include the selected service in the confirmation email if you aren't going to be there to confirm the service type. - let people know ahead of time that a key drop exists, maybe in the confirmation email. I wouldn't have used it, but I think the other customers (who waited 30 mins for no reason cuz they were fine with leaving their keys with Kavin) would have used it. - deposits exist to protect you from a customer no-showing, or refusing to pay for a service you provide. Neither of those things occurred here, so I have no idea why the owners feel entitled to keep my $100 deposit. Beware!

Excellent communication, prompt to respond and was able to get my car in quickly. Got a full hood bumper and fenders wrapped on my new C8 and turned out perfect. Top class installers. Took great care of my vehicle. Would definitely recommend if you are picky like me and want the job done right!Service: Paint protection

I've been wanting to get our 19'ft runabout boat detailed for some time. The Detailor LLC had reached out to the company I worked for in 2019.We had an awesome experience booking a mobile detailing appointment right away which is rare nowadays.The crew Lucas and Felipe were courteous, polite and professional. They worked really hard and were very detailed with trying to get rid of all our boat oxidation.Before and after pics attached.

Great job with a complete interior and exterior base clean on an older SUV that's been parked outside and sorely needed it. A bit of new life and she's now ready for more adventures. Highly recommend Mukilteo House of Wax.

[Mukilteo House of Wax has a lifelong customer in me. Highly recommend!]After purchasing my "new" (used) black car, I knew I was going to need to do something extra to keep it looking nice. However, I know virtually nothing about cars, so I did some research and settled on Mukilteo HOW. I'm so glad I did!From day one, Travis (the owner) has been nothing but helpful and kind. He enthusiastically answered all the questions I had in the beginning and never pressured me into purchasing anything I didn't want to. I decided on doing a protective film and ceramic coating. While I don't have one of those luxurious cars that make your head turn, my car is of value to me and want it to last! That said, I have always felt like my car (and me) are just as important to everyone at Mukilteo HOW.These guys go above and beyond in every way. They do a fabulous job and will make sure that you leave with an end result you're happy with. They truly go out of their way for their customers. Because I know that they treat my car with respect and do things the right way, I continue to bring my car here for a multitude of their offered services. I really would, and do, recommend Mukilteo House of Wax to everyone!

I had them wax my boat hull while it was on the water. I could not be present for the job. When I checked on my boat a week later I found it looked like new. They had to rotate the boat by hand and all the lines were tied up as left with lovely dock coils. I am extremely impressed.

Travis and Jen are fantastic. I had my headlights resurfaced there 4-5 years ago and warrantied the work for life. I called them Thursday to book another resurfacing and they fit me in that Saturday and the headlights look like new again. Booking was easy and their communication is great. I will be using them again for a full detail. Thanks again

I've brought my work vehicles in the past. I always had trouble finding a spot where they would clean my small box truck and they were able to do that here. Wouldn't mind coming back.

They were courteous, professional, and did a great job restoring our 2017 Chevy Bolt to its original lustre. They got old stains out of the upholstery as well.

House of Wax was a fantastic experience all around. Great communication back and forth on email to understand what was to be done and pricing. Was able to schedule quickly and the car looked fantastic, definitely the best the car has EVER looked.Great communication when it was done and, in fact, I wasn't reachable and they tried all forms of communication to get in touch with me. Overall, it was a smooth transaction all around and everyone I dealt with was super friendly. I wholeheartedly give House of Wax 5 stars. You should have no reservations about taking your car here for superb detailing and customer service.
