I've been coming here for years. Quality varies by stylist, but generally they do a good enough job. However, today I am specifically reviewing Ari (not sure if that is the correct spelling.) It was the first time in six or seven years I've brought my son in for a haircut. He is autistic and requires some patience when getting his hair cut. Years ago the stylist was not patient and since then we have just done it ourselves because he doesn't care how he looks anyway. However, we decided we wanted try getting him a professional cut again and expressed our concerns when we checked in. Ari was patient, communicative, and understanding of the situation. While the cut was not perfect due to my son's issues with sitting still, she did the best she could and was able to get more done than I expected. Hopefully this positive experience will make haircuts easier for him in the future.

I’ve been having my hair cut at this store for several years now and always had a good experience except until recently where I had a WORSE EXPERIENCE with LILLY, the older lady. She literally ruined my hair cut, showed little to no interest in what she was doing and was extremely careless in the her technique and the way she handled the trimmer and scissors pushing my head with the trimmer with force as if I was a toy. She never bothered to even ask how I want my hair styled and even after giving specific instructions she failed to follow and kept saying thats how my hair is. I wanted to ask her why she was behaving so carelessly with a very nasty expression throughout the haircut but tried being respectful with her.
I would just say this to the GreatClips management, do not hire someone like Lilly who has no interest in their work and doesn’t care about customer satisfaction. She is also disrespectful to customers and answered rudely in all her responses. She should not be working as a hair stylist looking at her behavior and technique. She ruined it for me, but please take action and investigate this so she doesn’t get away with this behavior.
Im never coming back here specifically because how GreatClips failed to recognize how incompetent this lady is. I was a loyal customer until now but ill have to find myself a new place now, thanks to Lilly.

I have come to Great Clips for several years now. Normally, I have had a good experience with a great hair style. However, the last two experiences have not been good. The stylist did not listen to what I asked her to do, and the hair cuts were not what I asked for. I was extremely disappointed with the cut on August 3rd. I felt like I wasted my money on the poor cut the stylist gave. It is a daily struggle to get my hair to look good. I will continue to come to Great Clips, but I will wait for another stylist if I am given the same stylist.

I went in to get my hair cut to get rid of my layers. She cut off 3 inches and then recommended 2 more inches to have no layers, but it seems like she didn't want to cut it more. The whole purpose of going in there was to get rid of them all, and it was not achieved. Along with that I asked for a trim of my current bangs and she cut a lot more hair to make my bangs fuller, which I don't like because I just wanted a trim of what I already have, and she cut them too short. It sucks it takes so long for hair to grow back.

After running late on the ferry and missing a scheduled appointment at a salon, I decided to roll the dice and come to this great clips location as it was right in between a couple other places I needed to go.
With coarse and thick hair it can be challenging to find a stylist and I've had my fair share of bad haircuts, but Elizabeth did a fantastic job of washing, cutting, and styling my hair.
This was probably the best experience I've had rivaling both of the high end salons that I've visited over the past year due to the care and attention Elizabeth showed to getting my cut and style just right. I'm definitely pleased with my experience and would recommend.

I just had the worst hair cut EVER. It was painful. Her name is Lilly. She just flails around with the clipper and has zero motor skills!! I thought she was going to cut my ears off when she was trimming around then. I cut the session with her short..... I couldn't take it any more, just told her you are done get me out of here!!! I have been loyal to great clips for a long time. This encounter is making me rethink my choices!!!

I went in saying that I let my hair grow too long. I also stated that some haircuts have made me look very much like a man. When I talked to Susan, she had a strong foreign accent, and I asked her where she was from.She just repeated Mukilteo and seemed a little angry that I asked and had pushed a little bit about her country of origin. She must have been angry, I have never had a shorter haircut length and time to cut. When she showed me the mirror ? the left side was ragged and uneven. When I pointed it out, she took a few minutes to correct it. I have never experienced something so awful. I feel bad... I don't know what I did to her.

I went in to give my niece a bang trim, told the counter lady and the hair stylist my niece was getting a bang trim. I look over after a minute or two and my niece is getting a haircut! This was terrible communication. My niece said the hair stylist recommended she get a haircut and she agreed. The problem isn't that she got a haircut but the lack of communication. My niece isn't my child. I could have had a huge fight with my brother if I had gotten her haircut and hadn't asked him. Thankfully I was able to call him and get permission. The haircut itself was good. 2 stars for asking a child what service she wanted and not the person responsible/paying for the service.

Had a really good experience here lately. Meghan, (prob. not spelled correctly) was amazing. I had received a bad haircut at a different location my previous haircut. Meghan went out of her way to recognize that, listen to me, and treat me as an individual. Not just another hair cut. She won me over for Great Clips again, and from now on I will be going to the Mukilteo location.

They start doing what I want but then start cutting the top when all I wanted was the sides. They just messed it up and gave me 2 inches of hair on top. Whenever I wear a hat it looks like I’m bald!!!!!

My first time at the Mukilteo location and Sharon was awesome. She cut my hair just like I wanted and was extremely nice and easy to get along with.
