I've never had to take any of my cars to an auto body shop before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. The staff at Gerber were all very kind, helpful and made the process a breeze! They sent me updates about my car and got my car done a few days earlier than estimated. I was able to be shuttled to Enterprise for my rental car and drop the rental car off at Gerber once I was done with it, which made the whole ordeal a lot easier. To top it all off, they not only fixed my car's bumper, but they cleaned the car as well! Overall, I'm really happy with my experience with Gerber and appreciate all their hardwork. I'll definitely be going here again if I need any repairs done in the future!

Couldn't be happier with the service, communication and how well my car turned out. Mary and Joe were both fantastic to work with and I will definitely refer to them in the future. Thank you!

I wrote an experience review on 10/9/2023. I would like to update that review. Technical problems with phone communication were fixed. I received a cordial response to every question that I had. I received ongoing updates on the progress of repairs. Today I picked up my car, repaired and shiny inside and out. Great job Gerber!

Let's be honest, having body work done on your vehicle is not fun at all but this experience was not bad. Gerber did a great job of communicating and keeping me updated on the status of my car by texting every couple of days. The body work looks great and they cleaned the car inside and out before I picked it up which was really nice.

Never, ever, EVER again. Gerber doesn't actually do glass, they subcontract out the work to all the other people in the area that actually do glass. They are 100% incapable of getting scheduling right. If you can imagine a mistake, they made it. They botched scheduling catastrophically 4 times! They scheduled without checking whether they actually had the glass for our vehicle, they scheduled without checking whether they had the replacement bezel for our vehicle, they scheduled on a rainy day with technicians that for unimaginable reasons were sent to do glass in the Pacific Northwest without coverings. They didn't call and say "it's raining and we don't have a pop-up". When we figured it out and tried to reschedule Gerber suggested a home visit on another day with forecasted rain! They ignored clear scheduling window requirements on 3 separate occasions. They scheduled a technician in a time window when the technician would be cities away and unable to arrive within 2 hours of the already wrong scheduling window. When we finally got the glass replaced, it was by sheer dumb luck communicating with the technician directly and completely sidestepping Gerber's scheduling.Don't make our mistake: stay far away from this parasite of a company.

If you care about your car and want the repairs to look like it was done by a professional shop.... Look elsewhere.Everyone knows that auto body shops are having supply chain issues. So having our car there for a month was to be expected. What's upsetting is that they try to pass their rookie painter as a journeyman painter. Or they simply have very low standards for quality. Why this place is a preferred shop for insurance companies has nothing to do with quality of repairs and everything to do with low prices or back end deals with your insurance. Because after 3 weeks we went to pick the car up for a simple front bumper replacement, I was baffled with what I found. They told us it was ready but there was overspray all over the black trim pieces in the front bumper along with bad bridging in several places. (Bridging occurs when paint builds up along the taped seams and too much paint is applied, causing a high spot of paint that is peeled back when the masking tape is removed.) I pointed out the bridging and all of the overspray. I refused to take the car home until the issues were fixed. A week went by and they called us back. The bridging was somewhat fixed but they did not touch the overspray that I clearly pointed out last time I was there. I pointed out all the flaws for the second time and again refused to take the car home. The entire time the gentleman kept acting like he could not see the baby blue overspray and tape lines on the black bumper trim. I repeated myself and pointed out exactly what was wrong. He begrudgingly took the keys back and said that it was going to cost them over 700 dollars to fix it but that they would do it. I was pretty thrown back by his attitude given the issues and lack of quality in their work. Another week goes by and we go to get our car. Overspray was still there.... ? seriously. I was pretty tired of going back and forth with these incompetent people. I pointed out to the manager that there were several dust nibs in the paint job, overspray and a small paint chip on the front bumper. Simply tired of dealing with these people we took the car and called it good enough.Again. If you don't really care about quality work and "looks good enough from my house" paint work is ok with you, then take your car to Maaco. But if you have a newer car or simply expect people who flaunt quality work to actually do quality work on your expensive vehicle then stay clear away. This was not only a huge waste of time for us and very upsetting, but also a pathetic excuse for work that people used to take pride in.Services: Body & Trim

I waited for more than 2 months for my appointment, and then I was going to drop the car today, but they couldn't fix it and told me to go somewhere else. I just wasted 3 months of time.

I will never deal with Gerber again. I was T-boned back in July and chose to go with this repair shop because of it's proximity to where i live and they are on my insurance's list of preferred auto repair shops. Most shops are booked out at least a month, i waited a month before i could take my car in for estimate. They told me to leave the car and that they'd reach out later on before end of day. I didnt hear from this shop for over a week and when i finally did, it was thro a text message. It took them a week to give me an estimate and i already had an appointment? I wish i would have just gone to get my car at that point! Their estimate was way way higher than an estimate i had gotten from a local smaller repair shop earlier on. I raised an issue with my Insurance that i didnt like their customer service and lack of timely responses and that i would like to go get my car and take it elsewhere and that i had a lower quote so i would like a 3rd opinion . When my Insurance called the shop to double check on the amount, they actually told them that my car should be totalled. They quoted them an amount higher than what they had sent me(almost 5k higher). They were estimating around 19k worth of repairs. My Audi Q3 has only about 33k miles on it. I wasn't willing to let go of my car yet especially because i had a way lower estimate from another shop! My insurance totalled my car but i chose to keep and repair it.I now fully own my car-the only downside is a rebranded title but i plan to keep the car for another 5 years or so! I called my local Audi dealership to get a referral- they referred me to a great locally owned licensed repair shop that fixed my car for waaay way less and they did a perfect job! Dealing with a car crash is a traumatic event and i strongly feel that Gerber wasn't empathetic at all!

Best experience ever with a car repair. Had a pretty major fix to my truck. From the estimate to the scheduling to the repair, it was practically hiccup free. When a part they used (supplied by the manufacturer) in the door mechanism failed, they didn't ask any questions. I was expecting to pay, and even prepared to. They investigated the problem, identified it within the afternoon, scheduled a repair within 5 business days, finished within the hour, washed the car and handed me the keys. Done!
