“Went looking for knee scooter for my granddaughter, when the lady working found out we were from out of town she donated it to her. This is a great place and awesome staff! We can't thank them enough.”

“This is a great place to visit, especially with kids. You can learn about watersheds, riparian zones and indigenous plant life. The staff are super knowledgeable and friendly. Beautiful elevated walk through the forest. You feel like you're in the middle of the woods. It's a great escape from the concrete jungle. I suggest becoming a member and visiting all year to see the changes.”

“My kiddos enjoyed picking out their clothes and the ladies there helped out since one of my two kids is autistic, they made him feel like he wasn't any different. Glad this organization is around for families like mine. Im struggling to make ends meet with raising kids by myself on disability. Love you guys!”

“Love shopping here! It helps so many people while at the same time charging good prices for new and used stuff! I always want more from there than what will fit in my house!?”

“We saw Disney on Ice here. The facility is clean and there isn't a bad seat in the place. Concessions were a little expensive but that's pretty typical for events like these. The staff was friendly and helpful.”

“EAGLES 2888 is a wonderful place to be. I enjoy the people very much. Eagles 2888 is a perfect example of "People helping People" everybody volunteers one way or another. Watching the Seahawk games are great. It gets loud watching the games. We as many TV's that we have. The food is really good too. Our cook Lincoln creates some meals from scratch. That means homemade cooking. Both my husband and I enjoy meeting new people and visiting friends new and Old. I hope you stop by and come visit us. Ring the doorbell and come on in and lets talk.”

“I went to bingo here and it reminds me of cheers! You're always greated with smiled and welcoming personalities! If you've had a bad day this is the place to head. It won't make your troubles disappear, but you'll find an ear to listen to you.”

“Nice small mosque with good parking space. They have 2 Friday prayers. 1st one at 1:30 and second one is at 2:05. There is space for sisters as well (only in the second Juma).”

“Edit, January 2024: THANK YOU for bringing back the books, media, and furniture! I was able to find some gifts, and myself a desk I desperately needed!Just a few things more: A coat hook for the bathrooms (had to fold my coat on my purse so it wouldn't touch the floor), maybe bigger toilet seat sheets (no rush), and declogging of the bathroom fan (full of thick dust, getting noisy). And A/C for summertime if you haven't already. I love the place now! And it looks like there are more customers, too, which saves our favorite downtown Goodwill. Thank you!Previous 1 star rating, no longer current: The remodel is a disaster. So much empty floor room around high-end clothing that barely gets any attention. Even before the remodel, I rarely ever saw anyone looking at the black tags. What are you doing, turning it into a boutique? Take it to Colby Ave along with all the other high-end clothing stores (as if downtown Everett doesn't have enough). Goodwill is supposed to be a thrift store with variety. Bad move taking away the furniture, random large items, and the books and movies. You should have chosen to install air conditioning and redo the flooring instead. So many of your longtime, loyal customers that keep you in business were really excited and anticipated to see new flooring and an HVAC system that filters out dust and keeps the place from becoming too sweltering of an environment for customers and workers in the summer. It was the talk of the town, only to have those dreams shattered. Not good for business. It's almost as though totally different owners stepped in, then spent too much money having fun without consideration of what most customers really needed.”

“Very good friendly staff. It is always a pleasure to visit and contribute my blood donation to help others. I'll continue to visit the Everett Oak St. location for all my furniture donations.”

“I am writing this because this place may be short of staff. But the two that they have are amazing! Lorraine, is one of the workers & she goes out of her way to help. Even on her days off she still try’s to help. If she isn’t on her computer at work ? She is giving the best advice she has. Which had been very credible & works. The second person is Matt. This guys is also amazing! He is another person who isn’t there for the pay! He is there simply to help those in need ! He is a great dude! So if you can get either one of them! You will be in good hands ! Just be patient with them! Trust me they will get you taken care of!”

“The Whidbey Institute is a very special place to visit. The land is deep and beautiful, and the buildings are nestled gently into the calming and majestic presence of the trees as if they themselves grew from the island hills. The staff are welcoming and soothing and the food is incredible. While the program that drew me there wasn't important part of my experience, the place itself is already drawing me back just moments after leaving.I highly recommend taking some time to visit this place and to find your way of connecting with a quietness and openness it has to offer.”

“If you should use their food bank, it is easier than other options in town. ID is optional but makes it easier. And standing in line there is usually a social occasion.”

“Yo the last persona comment I am a 45 year old law abiding citizen single mom with a 9 year old and 12 year old daughter, a son who just graduated from a university in another state. I am homeless, I have lung tumors and poor health. These guys stepped up. What you said about them helping criminals and whoever else I can't speak to that. I can speak to who I am, and I am grateful. and I am not what you said.”

“This place has been around for 40+ years for a reason. People who went here as kids have grown up and now send their children here because of the wonderful staff. They pour their hearts and souls into our children on a daily basis. Without fail, I’m greeted every morning with smiles and personal greetings from the office, teachers and the director herself...who sits at the front instead of hidden in some office.Anyone who thinks and writes reviews otherwise about the director must be touched in the head themselves. Especially if they’re former employees hiding behind yet another name change. We all know Steven Whitmore isn’t a real person on Whidbey with any interactions with the Center (it’s a small community). Anyways, there are staff who have been here for more than 15 years. Almost their entire staff has been at the center for more than 2 years, some 5 and others 10 years or more! I would hardly call that a high turnover rate. The South Whidbey Children’s Center is a wonderful place, academically challenging and very nurturing. I would highly recommend it as both a workplace and/or an enriching place to send your little, loved ones. My only complaint was with the decisions and demeanor of a particular staff member who no longer works there. Everything else is great!!”

“They absolutely are amazing... they saved my sweet little snowflake. She had a large tumor growing on her side and all of a sudden it opened up and i thought she was going to die. I live in Shelton WA and there are no small animal vets. I turned to them and they got her seen by thr vet and the tumor removed. Now my sweet little girl can go on about her life with no more pain or suffering. Thank you guys so much!!!!!”

“Love this non profit. They have a great restaurant and resale furniture store on sight. Both are used in their training program, teaching people marketable job skills, including 4 weeks of soft skills training. Great staff who help students find jobs once they finish the program.”

“Truly amazing place! I wish I'd known about it a year ago when I first found myself on the streets with nobody to help me through the worst time in my life! I'm so thankful a new friend took me over there to meet everyone and show me how wonderful some people still are out here! They offered me food and clothes and help with finding a place to live a hot shower and a place to take a nap for a few hours and said I can wash my clothes there too! I will definitely be going back there soon! It's so nice to know there's a place like that when u feel like u have nobody and nothing in this world theres little light in your path to help u find your way.. God bless these women who are there for the less fortunate. Your truly Angels in my life!”

“This store has served me well for many years. Everything has its own place. It's a lot of fun to go through the bins and see what you can find. And the cost is ridiculously low. Numerous pieces of furniture and other household goods. Plenty of garments. And the price per pound is merely a few cents. I've gotten whole shopping carts for less $5. The excellent stuff is usually buried towards the bottom of the trash, although they do throw a lot of garbage on top.”

“Always good stuff. Seems that staff work very hard to try and keep the store looking nice. Too bad many people are awful and disrespectful when it comes to acting like a decent human in a retail establishment.”

“I love coming here. Very clean and friendly service. I have noticed lately their prices on items have become increasingly high, this is disappointing. I understand the money is for a great cause however I could go to the rack or a department store for new at those prices. Please don’t let greed run your customers away. This is what Goodwill has done and they lost most of their customers.”

“I absolutely adore working at Skate Journeys! The atmosphere here is fantastic, and the team's dedication to spreading the joy of skating is inspiring. Moreover, my kids absolutely love their skate lessons! The instructors are not only skilled but also incredibly supportive, making it a wonderful learning experience for them. Highly recommend this place for both work and play”
