Great shop. Stopped in while visiting mt Vernon and was glad I did. Lots of yarn choices (fiber, weight, color palette, price points) and kind helpful staff.

This shop was my go-to when I lived in Washington. I live on the east coast now but recently placed an order by phone. I ordered on a Thursday and they got it in the mail promptly and it had arrived by Saturday! Great selection and great customer service. Picture is of my friend wearing hats made from yarn I got at the store last year :)

I am in the Navy and going overseas. Realized the amount of yarn the pattern is was using was not going to be enough. I did a search and found wild fibers had it. I called and told them my problem. Even though they had already done their shipping for the day they made a special trip to the post office to get me my yarn before i flew out. I had called a few other stores and none were willing to help get me the yarn in time. These ladies clearly understand knitters and the crazy need to have our yarn when we need it. This personal touch was so appreciated. I highly recommend this store. It is a true representation of the local yarn store.

Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Beginner's questions are welcomed! Their yarn selections are unbelievable and I've made several trips to just browse even when I have .more than enough yarn for my ongoing pfojects. A happy field trip!.
