Very disappointed to have my low lifetime membership rate canceled that I have had since mid 90’s all the way back to hearts and all through 24 hour fitness ownership. I was give a choice to stay with 24 hour fitness or switch to urban and keep my rate. I switched to urban only to have them go back on their word. Zero integrity business.

Men’s showers are gross and have said things multiple times to staff. Never appear to be cleaned. When signing up the customer service Lady was more interested in kissing her boyfriend then dealing with someone else. Other then that the gym has lots of free weights which is awesome and better atmosphere then most other gyms!

The gym itself is not very well maintained and the staff is fairly unhelpful. My experience was tainted when I had to cancel my membership. I first attempted to cancel it inearly November, calling in and asking about the process, when I was told "I don't know how to do that" and that they would call me back later when someone who knew how got there. I never received a call. Then after being charged for November/December later in the month I called again to ask why I had been charged. The person this time told me it had to be in an email and gave me the email address over the phone, which I spelt out multiple for them to confirm it was correct. I then sent an email on December 8th asking to cancel my membership, knowing that I had signed a membership agreement and that I would likely be charged a fee, although I didn't know how much. Once again in mid December I was charged a membership fee. At this point I was very frustrated, and made that clear over the phone, which I try to never do as I have worked many customer service jobs and know how difficult it can be to deal with angry or rude customers. The person on the phone told me once again that they would have someone contact me. The next day I got an email from the person I believe to be the owner, Brian Montana. He sent me an email detailing that he had not received my initial email, and that they needed 30 days to process my cancellation, during which time I may still be charged the monthly fee. The nail in the coffin though was that he made, what I would consider, a vague threat, by saying that if the cancellation fee was not paid it would be sent to collections. I take my finances very seriously, hence the anger over about $200 total in membership and cancelation fees. Sending a charge to collections can be very serious and can affect ones credit score and cause other issues. I email Brian about this and received no response. Finally this morning I was charged $81.60, which I assumed was the late fee. I confirmed this with Brian over a 10 word email and I am finally rid of this mediocre gym and it's shady management.

I am 60 , I have been attending Gym's, Fitness Centers, Health Clubs for over 40 years. In my humble opinion Urban has all the equipment you could possibly need to obtain any physical objective, Bodybuilding, Endurance training, strength, flexibility, Stamina, Cardiac development, Olympic lifting. As a 1 time bodybuilder ( Mr. CA third place 1988) A Mount Climber, ( Rainier, Adams) ,A Long distance cyclist and an X Military Training Specialist, I found this gym to be the complete package. The Gym is also operated like a family business, friendly, interactive and fun. They all know your name at Urban fitness, I should know. I am the GM.

Great gym lots to do love the sauna and the private weight room! Lots of nice people and amazing staff itzy great person to talk to bilingual and a big help wish they had longer hours tho but still 10/10

I have belonged to several gyms but for a small town they are doing the best job. They are really making an effort to cater to the members. The new general manager, Brian, is making a difference from cleanliness to organization. It is more than a gym. It is an athletic club. If you are looking for a place to get a good workout and more, this is the place. Check it out. You will be pleased at what you see.

I have been going to Urban for many years. The owners, managers and trainers are really into helping everyone and go out of their way to help members. The members are also really nice and easy going. There have been many updates and upgrades to keep improving the facility. Urban also offers many classes for all levels of fitness and goals.
