This place has been a huge blessing for my family time and time again. There have been several times we've been in a tight spot and couldn't afford food/kids new clothes, food to prepare a holiday meal, but this place has delivered Everytime. You do need to pay a small amount and volunteer 3 1/2 hours a month. In the summer time you can do traditional gleaning and get volunteer hours for things like picking blueberries. You donate half the berries for hours and keep the other half. I'm often able to get the occasional treat for my kiddos here as well. It's common to have baked goods from Panera, Haggens and Starbucks. Volunteer hours can also be as easy as helping sort and hang clothes. I've also been able to get free used books and and toys for my kids. Books are especially a blessing for us. We live outside of city limits and don't have access to any of the libraries in our area. Thank you Gleaners!

Idea is great but they require volunteer hrs even with paid membership so even though I need groceries desperately I can't get them here cause I don't have any way to do the hrs

Great sense of community. If you are on a tight food budget, check out Gleaners. Either pay $70 a month to shop 3 times a week or $40 and volunteer 4 hours a month. Each shop gets you easily what $70 will get you at the grocery store each time you shop. Glean on my friends:)

Always a positive place to be. Many volunteers to help and Morgan is a wonderful manager and great person. Though food donations have been low, there is always enough for everyone.

Although most of my food comes from Gleaners, it's so much more than a grocery store! It's a community!

A great place to save money on groceries and save the planet by keeping good, but out of date food from the landfill.

I just got home from my first experience! Things can be a little hard to navigate with a little one in your arms but, everyone I ran into was extremely friendly and helpful. This is such a great blessing for the community, I am very much looking forward to becoming a part of such an amazing opportunity ❤️

I just signed up a little over a month ago and an having a blast. I have gotten food, books and clothing from them but now I have to figure out how to get the food/fruit/veggies eaten before they are spoiled. The staff is very professional and the customers that I have met are very friendly and courteous. I am volunteering one morning a week as well as picking up clothing at the Friendship House. Some excess stuff I have taken from the Gleaners over to the New Life at the Well's Clothing Closet that I help to keep stocked. I m having fun and will see what 2022 has in.dtore for us all.

The gleaners is a great community and amazing resource for families trying to live on a tight budget or who don’t want to take part in consumerism. I donate full amount and don’t volunteer and always get my moneys worth in 1-2 shops! Especially love the galleria to find clothes, shoes, and kitchen accessories.
