I was looking for a classic car. I called Lost and Found classic car company and talked to Luther. I made an appointment to go see his cars. He had some beautiful cars out there in fantastic shape. I was looking for a trans am and he had three of them, they were all gorgeous and in perfect shape. Luther is very personable and friendly and knowledgeable. He knew just about everything about the cars he had there. He was not pushy or aggressive just very helpful. I finally decided on the car I wanted and we struck a deal. He even gave me the name of his mechanic in Burlington that works on classic cars. I am very happy with my purchase I'm very happy with Luther and the whole buying experience was fantastic. I would highly recommend him to anybody looking for a classic car you can't go wrong. Dave Trough, Bellingham

Recently purchase and had shipped from the lot near Seattle to Albuquerque an pricey early 70s muscle car from this car lot and the owner who verbally claims over the phone that he has a good reputation. Well, perhaps he doesn't care to keep up that reputation.

Recently purchase and had shipped from the lot near Seattle to Albuquerque an pricey early 70s muscle car from this car lot and the owner who verbally claims over the phone that he has a good reputation. Well, perhaps he doesn't care to keep up that reputation. These are the pure facts-I have all of the invoices and quotes in hand. Before I bought it, over the phone the owner said the A/C was working. Not true. A/C was not working-blowing hot air when it arrived and the compressor belt was seizing up. Put in new compressor-$700. Now just barely working but essentially useless. My mechanic says the only way to get it working is to purchase an aftermarket full AC kit-parts/labor-$2500. When I called him about this he gave the lame excuse that AC is not really used much in the Pacific NW-I know-I lived in Portland OR for 12 years but this excuse is just a red herring. The battery was rated for up to 7 years-when the car arrived date on it confirmed it was 7.5 years old. It died within a week of receiving the car while I was driving it. $175 to replace. The windshield wipers were misaligned and not functioning fully. This car was in the Pacific NW where it rains regularly. Parts and Labor $175. The driver's side lock did not work and had to be removed and rekeyed. $100 The carburetor was in terrible shape and the car kept stalling-had to do a full rebuild-$400. The manual clutch was very, very loose and at end of life and the clutch assembly needed to be replaced-$700. In short, it appears he is running a business selling older cars THAT REQUIRE some sort of checklist when he brings them in. Yet appears there is little to none QA-quality assurance. How can that possibly be? He actually said he didn't know about the door lock not working. Again, how can that be-the car was just left unlocked the whole time it was in his possession? In closing, it is abundantly clear that he is running a shady ship here and he misrepresented his product in this case in a severe way. Further he implied I should have no issues about these issues since he discounted the price for me. Again, another red herring, a non-starter. That is called negotiating! No one held a gun to his head and made him do this deal. In the end, this turned out to be a borderline nightmare-I am still dealing with issues on this over 3 months later. So far I am almost $2500 into this for fixes with another $2500 needed for the AC kit install. All of this point to the only conclusion that one can arrive at: the company is run by a shyster.

This place has the best classic cars in the area, as soon as i step on the lot i get instant nostalgia. The owner Luther comes and greets me right away, he's very knowledgeable and very forthcoming about his cars history which is a breath of fresh air cause you don't alway get honest people like Luther at car lots. If you love classic cars this is definitely a place to check out. I was treated wonderful and seeing all those cool cars made me feel like a little boy on Christmas. I only wish i could give this place a few extra stars for thier wonderful staff, if any place deserves more than 5 stars it's Lost & Found classic car co.

I recently paid top dollar on a car after Luther described the car and engine condition. After getting the car delivered I heard a tapping noise in the engine which I know absolutely that he would have heard prior to purchase. I took it to two very reliable car shops for inspection only to find out the engine was full of sludge and metal findings. Luther flat out lied about the condition of the engine and now its costing me another $5000 to get it running....don't trust this dealership. I asked Luther for some help on this one with absolutely no response...HE LIED.

Just had my 58 plymouth delivered here in the UK. I trusted Luthers description of 'the good, the bad and the ugly' points of the car and (as is the norm) totally expected it to have a long list of unmentioned 'ugly's' wrong with the car (there always is, and, to a degree you've got to expect it!) NOT with this guy!!! This is the most accurately described GOOD car that I've ever imported from the U.S. it FAR exceeds my expectations. Luther trusted me to send him the funds and removed it from ebay before I even sent him a deposit, he was a pleasure to deal with. I'm a veteran of the motor trade with nearly 35 years under my belt and a total of 45,000 cars bought and sold and I know the wheat from the chaff, this guy is the wheat and when I'm ready for another I will defo trust this man again. Thanks Luther, for its age this car is fantastic and if anything far better than you described it. Regards Bob @ gmc2000 Leeds uk.
