Got my front brake rotors and pads replaced. Good service, but used very cheap parts that started squeaking and got very rusty after a month of use. Charged $800. If you can source your own parts I recommend the shop. EDIT: I came in with a 2015 lexus is250 at the end of January

I have been seeing Premier Auto for all my car repair needs ever since I moved to Mount Vernon and have had nothing but amazing things to say about them. So when they opened up a dealership, they were the first people I went to to get a new car after mine broke down. And I couldn’t be happier with the service I received and the personal touch of everything. I highly recommend to anyone searching for a new vehicle. I assure you, you won’t be disappointed!

Azeem went out of his way to help us find the exact car we wanted. Our old car had broken down and we needed a replacement soon. Azeem found the exact car we wanted in California and had it shipped up to us in a week. He even drove my husband home one day through the process. They gave us the best deal they could and got us the best warranty possible. I’m so glad my favorite mechanic now owns a dealership, I will never buy a car from anyone else! It’s really great to have people you can trust at such a vulnerable time.

This guy is a rip off He tried charging me 2,300 for my axle and wheel bearing. I went to another mechanic called "MD AUTOMOTIVE" and he was willing to do the same job for $300. MD AUTOMOTIVE has way better deals and they get the job done fast.

Our car was running rough and had a check engine light. It was a Saturday and we were away from home, but Premier Auto were able to get us in immediately. They were straightforward, sympathetic and honest. They diagnosed our issue and we were back on the road again in a couple of hours. Highly recommended.

I drove to Mount Vernon from Canada for a family vacation. My front right brake calipers seized 2 days before we were supposed to go home. Brought my car to this auto repair shop. Mechanic told me that the brake calipers, brake pads and rotors on both front wheels need to be replaced at the same time even though the left side looked fine and it was just changed less than 2 years ago. I felt pressured into getting both sides done. He gave me an estimate of just over $800. He also discovered that the driveshaft was failing. He told me to get it repaired immediately, otherwise the car is unsafe to drive at high speeds. He did not have all the parts needed to complete the repairs that day, so I picked up the car to drive it back to my Airbnb. He charged me just over $1700, which included a prepayment for the driveshaft repair even though he did not do any work on it yet. He should have given me an invoice of no more than 110% of the initial estimate and provided me with a new estimate for repairing the driveshaft, according to my understanding of state auto repair standards. I also found it sketchy that I had to prepay for additional work that had not yet been done. I brought the car back to the shop the next day. I was later informed that the entire driveline needed to be replaced, now the total cost is $2800. I asked the shop to not do anymore work and return my car but the technician would not release it because he said I will kill my family and others on the road if I drive it. I didn't get the chance to take the car to another shop to get a second opinion or get it towed. I was pressured to complete the repairs at his shop. He had no legal right to keep my car. The estimated value of my vehicle is around $3000. If I knew the final cost was going to be that high, I would have seriously considered scrapping it. The entire process felt like coercion. I requested a courtesy car to drive my family home. They had one available but it had not been detailed. It was filthy, with dog hair, garbage, dog food, strong odor, with almost no gas in the tank. The steering wheel felt stuck temporarily as I backed the car out, so I asked the technicians as I'm leaving if the car was safe to drive. Two technicians confirmed it was safe. While driving, the left turning signal did not work consistently, the check engine and TPMS lights were both on, and the power window on the driver door was malfunctioning. I later discovered that the right rear tire was underinflated. After I got home, I talked to my own mechanic and his colleague, and both of them advised me that the left front brake calipers did not need replacement. He was convinced I was preyed upon in a desperate situation. Performing unnecessary auto work is not good business ethic. When I went to pick up my car, I discussed my concerns with the staff. He denied any wrongdoing. After a long discussion, he offered a $700 discount, and apologized for our experience. This review is not meant to be defamatory to this business or its employees. I am sharing my experience to help others make better decisions for themselves. While I appreciate the technician's speedy service on a Sunday morning when other repair shops were closed, his genuine concern for our safety, his courtesy car, and his desire to get my car in the best shape possible for a safe trip home, I later realized the business conduct was not in accordance with best practice standards. The only option I was given was to fix the car at all costs, no matter the price. Overall, a negative experience, but I give it 2 stars rather than 1 because the technician was kind enough to chat with me for a long time over the phone on his vacation and offered a discount. However, these gestures do not absolve this business of its unethical conduct.

Within minutes of my contact with Yelp, I received a message from Azeem from Premier Auto Repair located in Mount Vernon, WA.. I immediately contacted him, and he provided me with excellent information and corrective measures I could take to initially rule out common problems with my car. He was most helpful, thoughtful and considerate and told me that I could contact him anytime I needed assistance. A second note. Received another message from Azeem just wondering if I've found assistance for my vehicle. What a grand gesture from a business owner, one I've never done business within the past. I informed him that I had found some service here in Oak Harbor and again thanked him for his consideration.

Highly recommend Premier Auto Repair!! I travel in my 95 Ford van, and just as I was about to head to Montana on a Saturday morning it started acting up. Azeem was able to look at it right away on Saturday morning, ordered the parts, and completed the work on a Sunday. Not to mention he was such a nice guy and very accommodating since I am not from the area. I drove about 800 miles the follow day and everything runs perfect. I am so thankful he was able to do the work!

This place is great. Can't say enough good things. The owner called me a few hours after the repair to double check my car was all good.

Need repairs? CALL PREMIER! Azeem and his crew were awesome from start to finish. I called several other shops in town but the soonest any of them could get to me was a week. I needed repairs done to my collapsing steering system right away. I called Azeem and he didn't hesitate. He said "yes, bring it in. We will look at it and get it done". Including ordering parts and installation it only took 4 days for everything and I was able to drive away with my trailer in tow; steering working perfectly, and still does. Plus, I was charged a more than fair price for the work, that did not include any type of rush charge, even though he/they did rush the work to help me out of a jam. Seriously, patronize this shop. You'll thank me. And thank you Azeem for your dedication to your customers and quality of work. Also, I have no affiliation with Premier, I'm just a very satisfied customer.

My daughter hit a curb yesterday in her mini cooper and wasnt sure what to do. While she is 30 years old, she has had many health issues including strokes which have caused some cognitive impairments. If you saw her, you would think she was a teen age. Most shops would have taken advantage of this. Fortunately, kazeem Abbas at premier auto took the time to put her car up and unbolt the barrier and took the time to show her that no damage had been done to the vehicle. He didnt charge her for his time or for the use of his hoist. Most shops would have charged her something and or taken advantage of her lack of knowledge about cars. Thank you kind sir for looking out for my daughter and not taking advantage of her. You have restored my faith in humanity.

Premier did the basics - oil change, wipers, parking brake adjustment, etc. and also diagnosed and fixed an intermittent wiring issue involving the connectors under the seats of my RAM truck. Good service, fair price, very professional and courteous. Highly recommended.
