“Walked in and was looking at the meat counter. So many different kinds. The server could tell I was not a local. He explained the cheeses and gave me some samples. The pork rings were fresh and delicious. In the back they had four large trolleys with different kinds of pastries that you pick and put on a tray. There is also a fresh veggie section. Will definitely shop there again when I come back to Burlington”

Came in here last week looking for liquid creamer which they unfortunately did not have at the time, only to come back and not just be welcomed in by the cashier who already recognized me but they also let me know they went out to purchase some so when I came back they had it! “It's my favorite grocery store in Mt. Vernon. Updating this in 2024 It's still my favorite grocery store in Mount Vernon. I went to Safeway a few days before posting this and even though they're owned by Kroger both of them the atmosphere at haggens is just far superior. Plus there's more checkers the variety is different in the deli it's just more my speed”

“Used the pickup service and it was amazingly fast from moment called in to them bringing it out. Haven't been inside this one but the whole outside of building seems almost new, everything nice and clean and bright. But, it still is walmart and this is one of the nicer looking ones have been to.”
“We actually drove from Lynnwood up to Mt Vernon to go to this Walmart. This is a really beautiful store. We've always found it to be neat and clean, with lots of selection, and items that we can't find at the Walmarts closer to home. Sometimes Walmarts can be chaotic and, well, we've all seen the "People of Walmart" pictures, however this location just doesn't seem to attract those. The staff is friendly and helpful and in all, it's worth the drive up to it.”
“I have shopped here often and I must say the people that work here have always been helpful and kind. The store is consistently clean and well stocked. The prices on certain items can be a little steep but if you shop the sales and check the prices it's not usually an issue. The bakery offers fantastic choices and great donuts (when they are fresh) The store is always offering specialty items as well. Perfect if you we're putting together a gift basket or grabbing some good cheese and wine for a special occasion. They also have a very large selection of pre-made lunches and dinner items in their deli area. Overall it is a very nice and clean place to shop. Way to go Haagen management and employees! You always go above and beyond and it's noticed.”

“Just got done having a quick meal of chicken burrito for me and beef burrito for my husband. Love the food. It even came with drinks. Priced well, food not too salty, they provide 3 types of sauce that has different level of spice (heat) depending on your preference. Staff are friendly.Awesome experience after a day of tulip farm trip and hungry tummy.We also bought some grocery items which is also part of their small restaurant.Highly recommended!”
