Really nice antique shop, just packed with good stuff. I always find temptations here! More for smaller or home decor things than for furniture (although there's some of that, too). Definitely worth a stop.

Anyone that knows me well can confirm that I'm always on the lookout for new and interesting "friends" to add to my collection of oddities. Dilly Dally is a good collection of random items. Take your time to look around, you'll find something that you never knew you'd ever want. The owner was super friendly, offering information to my questions regarding recommended dining and entertainment. I bought only one thing during my first visit, a charming Bobby bottle stopper. I could've easily bought more, but make a point to limit myself to one item only. I'll be back, no doubt.

Beautiful collections in the heart of old downtown Mount Vernon. Subtle and yet she has beautiful collections and it’s up to you to find those treasures.

This was disappointing. Previous review had stated that there was nice furniture here, but there was not really any when I went into the store. I was kindly greeted by the employee. However, this wasn't worth the less than ten minutes I was inside.

What a Great little find we happened upon while walking the lovely downtown drag of Mount Vernon! Caught by the window display and cute name, we stopped in to see what we could see...and left with arm fulls of stuff! Dilly Dally is full of better than average antiques at very reasonable prices. Many shops have low quality items that the owners try to sell at inflated costs. NOT so here! Prices are good and the items are great. Well preserved table and furniture pieces are in display - along with silver, tea sets, quilts, pictures, and other things from years gone by. We got ourselves a few pictures, a beautiful lace tablecloth, and an old globe (I'm a s***** for maps and gloves)! Best news is we didn't break the bank! Ha! This is a wonderful antique store! The owner on site was very friendly and we chatted with her a wee bit as we checked out. Stop in, shop local, support a great business and leave with some great finds!
