5 stars all around! this place was super cute and is the perfect place to spend an afternoon. had the wine flight which was very reasonably priced along with my generous pour afterwards. apps were great too and staff is beyond friendly.

Wow! This winery is a phenomenal place to visit. What a GEM! Great wine, food, music and all around relaxing place to visit with friends and family. This is my second visit and I will be back.

An absolutely beautiful winery, both interior and exterior. With delicious wine and food, you will want to make this a go-to place to stop at with friends, on a date, even with your family. Besides great wine and food, they offer such fun entertainment through live music and Ladies Nights.
On a scenic hillside in southern Skagit County you’ll find the elegant, yet unpretentious Bertelsen Winery. This family-owned winery first opened its doors in 2014 and is co-owned and managed by second generation Skagitonian Steve Bertelsen. You’ll immediately notice the welcoming and friendly environment that defines the winery as you approach the property and enter our tasting room. Our winery is truly a labor of love and built on a desire to create a place where everyone feels at home. We pride ourselves in creating excellent wines at an affordable price. We source all of our wines from Washington State from multiple vineyards and AVA’s. Steve and his father Richard are selective in the growers and the varietals they choose.
