Safeway's Chinese in their deli is awful. I keep going back thinking I'm going to get a good Chinese meal. I keep hoping it's going to get better. Safeway really needs to do a better job.

Not a great experience with the deli sandwiches. They used to make them so they were a bit thicker and more appealing. Today I got 1 leaf of lettuce and 1 piece of cheese and 2 pieces of Turkey. I could of made a sandwich at home better then this. Very disappointed today. I really hope it gets better. But honestly this sandwich wasn’t worth $6.99

The issue is with the deli. If you want hot food you are in luck. If you need something that requires slicing, that's another story. Two days in a row I stopped at the deli to purchase some sliced turkey breast. Both days I arrived around 7PM and stood there for five minutes. It seems to me that they do not want to do any slicing at that time because it would mean they will have to clean the slicer again. I believe the deli closes at 8PM. If you want to buy deli products where they appreciate your business, go to Leprekon Harvest Foods.

This is the most depressing & nightmarish Safeway I've ever stopped at. I waited 25 minutes in line at the pharmacy just to ask a question while they helped one customer. Half the customers don't wear masks. Stop elsewhere.

Ok, they've stepped up in my opinion. Before WinCo came, Safeway was a rough experience with long lines and really just the worst prices. Well the prices are still high, but the lines are much smaller now. They put in a sushi bar which i am really impressed with. They're not sumo, but they are quick and quite good. Their produce selection is better and they're meats are good. It's pricier but i think the price goes with a less messy and hectic shopping experience.

I've been providing services through Instacart for over 3 years now mostly in the greater Seattle area until recently when family matters have kept me in Moses Lake on more consistent basis. There is no store throughout the last 3 years that has been more hospitable or excited me more to walk in to. I would like to give special props to the produce department who is probably more important than any other department based on what matters most to customers In quality. They are incredible! Meat department, extremely attentive and aware of how valuable my time is. I would like to give special props to Erin one of the managers who is an absolute joy every time she's there. If the store was based entirely on her personality and energy I think the store would have better ratings. All in all thank you to all for what the store does for my business.

Always a friendly staff especially in the seafood department I’m not sure what his name is but he’s a bigger younger fella and now you can get donuts yourself out of the case so that’s a plus and the deli staff especially the girls are friendly

I was shopping an Instacart order for a customer at Safeway in Moses Lake. It was probably over $200 worth of groceries in the order of more than 30 items, complete with carefully selected organic fruits and vegetables, and about a metric ton of water. I was nearing the end of the list, I was hot and tired from pushing the heavy cart around, and left the cart with my jacket, wallet, keys, and my Instacart shopper bags for just about 5 minutes near the front registers to grab items for the rest of the order. I went back and found the cart gone, and I was freaking out thinking I had forgotten where I had left the cart. I asked an employee, they pointed me to the cart with my personal items still in it, but all the produce and cold items were gone. I got so frustrated that I had to drop the order. The cashier in front did not care, as she was the one who made the call.

I went into Safeway on Friday 7/3 and 1/3 of the customers were not wearing a mask thats required indoors and some were vocal about not wearing one. Safeway was not enforcing the mask wearing in their store. All the managers were clustered in a group watching customers not wearing masks but were too scared to do anything. Time to dump Safeway. I cant believe people can be so STUPID!!! Nobody Is losing their freedom or liberties we enjoy as Americans. All that is being asked is to wear masks indoor where you cannot social distance. Not a whole lot to ask to get thru this pandemic. I just don't understand why people try to do just the opposite of that they are asked. If anyone thinks this is political they need to reevaluate the situation. Wear masks to get through this pandemic and then get on with our lives. Too bad our society has gotten so me myself and I oriented. Wear a mask and dont shop Safeway until they make customers comply.

We just moved here from Wenatchee where I shopped at the Albertsons store. It was a great store, even with a small bakery it was always well stocked and you could always count on the Friday special in the bakery and rest of the store available no matter what time you went there. This Safeway in Moses Lake is a joke! We have gone the last two Fridays to pick up the Friday specials and other items in the ad only to find all the Friday specials gone and only two items in the ad.....We will not shop there any longer and will look for another store to take our business to! I have to say the employees were not at all friendly, even the young woman at the Starbucks stand was to busy talking to an employee who came after me for water and the drink ordered by me was not good! I am fairly new to Moses Lake and find Safeway high on my list of local stores. I find the clerks very friendly and helpful. The pharmacy is especially helpful and go out of their way to make sure you get the right prescription when you need it.
