Liked the employees including the vet. Our appointment happened to be as they were dealing with short staffing and a prolonged visit ahead of us. We were glad we had cats in carriers. The waiting room had at least six other patients (with owners) already. Our wait was 15 minutes.

Our family had to put our Lab down due to her age and health problems. From the front desk to the nurses and doctor, everyone was so friendly and caring. It’s been many years since we’ve taken our pets to Pioneer but going forward, this will be our Veterinary Clinic for our pets. Thank you!

My baby girl Dory was my ride or die. Two weeks ago she passed and Pioneer truly tried their best. I knew they cared when everyone there said how loving and sweet she was because honestly my girl was nothing but the most loving kind and sweet soul. They gave me time alone with her when she passed to say goodbye and today I received a card that made me cry but made my heart feel a little better as they had her paw prints stamped inside. They had saved my Boxer years ago when he had been poisoned and that was why we took Dory to them. My heart hurts and I’m sad without her but I am comforted in knowing that you tried. Ashley I thank you because you were with Dory from the beginning and when I saw you cry it let me know my baby girl was loved to the end by the ones around her. I appreciate all of you so much ♥️

Great vet clinic. I have been bringing my animals (cats and dogs) here for around 8 years.

My mom and I came here yesterday, 8/20 to put our dog Ginger (17-18 yr old) down. It was so awful and traumatic but to make it even worse, the "doctor" was SO RUDE during the whole thing. First off, during this experience, the whole place was so loud and we were confused because they said it was supposed to be quiet. So my mom was already on edge because we could literally hear people basically yelling outside the door which was just so rude to me. But I guess we can look past that. But when the doctor & the other tech came in to give her the second shot, the tech blew her vain and when my mom asked for another tech to do it, the doctor started arguing and caught SUCH AN ATTITUDE with my mom like FOR WHAT?? Just get another tech and do what my mother said, SHES WATCHING HER DOG THAT SHE LOVES DEARLY LITERALLY DIE IN FRONT OF HER OWN EYES?!??? Just do it? My mom literally was crying her eyes out and the doctor had absolutely no empathy. I couldn't believe it. And to top it off, finally once the other tech came in and got it, we could then hear them talking smack outside of the door about my mom. I couldn't believe it. I absolutely wouldn't ever go to this place again. The doctor that did this was blonde with short hair, and the tech had like blue or purple hair, not sure. Also we ended up not leaving our dog there. After that, we were scared they would just throw her away or treat her badly so we ended up bringing our little baby to the cremation place ourselves. This whole situation was so traumatic in itself, and that doctor "b-word" didn't make it any better. DO NOT COME HERE!!!! But shout out to the lady at the front with the short dark hair. Katrina i believe? She was very sweet and helped us after I told her what happened. Edit- I posted the situation on tiktok and on every single of my platforms, I have almost 20k on Twitter. I've had a lot of messages with terrible stories about this place, I'll be posting soon! I have never been a "Karen" but a line was crossed that will never be okay. We also haven't heard from the owner, STILL! Shows how much they care right?

I had an appointment for 11am for a general wellness and lab work for my geriatric cat, we arrived 10 mins early for check in. Ten mins after 11am a gentleman came out and stated they did not receive the medical records I emailed earlier -- so I sent them again to the address he gave me. Twenty mins after 11am, a gal came out & handed me new client paperwork and said they'll be back in a couple of mins to get my cat. Forty five minutes after 11am, I called to get an estimate of how much longer because I had my toddler with me and was getting restless, they stated it would be a few more mins. Unfortunately, I had waited about an hour at that point and my cat was not examined and had to leave to tend to my kiddo. As an LVT, I understand that veterinary professionals can get behind and curbside service can be tough on employees. However, the lack of communication and poor attention to give real, honest updates to your clients about waiting times was a disappointment. Even more disappointing as a pet owner because I administered sedation and anti-anxiety medication to my cat prior before we left to lower her stress for the car ride and time at clinic.

I tried to take my cat in he was having issues breathing and wasn't going to make it unless we got him somewhere quick. They told us to go to tricities and didn't care at all! He died in my arms on the way to tricities! Thanks pioneer!

I have gone to Pioneer Veterinary Clinic for 25 + years and when I needed them the most when my dog was very sick they turned me away and told me go to Pasco, WA. Think about your beloved pet who could be very sick and when you need the veterinarian the most......they turn you away. The manager said we told you what to do go to Pasco to one of their emergency hospitals and was shocked I had the gall to complain by saying "they are my doctor". For those of you who have gone to this clinic for years, they use to an emergency number and you could get help or seen after hours. I called 3 times and each time turned away, they didn't care if I complained on social media or to friends I knew. Are you sure you want a vet that is great at immunizations and deworming but when it's life threatening they refused help? My dogs are part of my family and I am taking my business elsewhere because your vet choice could save your pets life. The manager Katrina said she didn't care if I complained to people of Moses Lake about this. I think that says it all, don't you.

Even with the craziness of social distancing, these people treated me and my kitty with great care and respect. The vet explained her findings and treatment carefully. She gave me choices for how aggressively we needed to treat my cat, and I appreciated her advice. They were respectful of my time and my concern. This is my new family vet.

Thank you pioneer veterinary clinic for seeing my Shirley today. She is doing great. Great service, amazing staff. The Dr walked all the way to my car to let me know what he did and his findings. I will definitely be back
