Wish I could leave no stars.. they won't come and trap stray, aggressive cats.. They want you to do it yourself, and you have to PAY them to use their traps....... Like what kind of... ??♀️??♀️

Just donated a big bag of dogfood and the employee and the dog accompanying her were quite happy to talk and receive the donation. It's always good to be greeted by happy people and animals there. ☺️?

Absolutely terrible costumer service, got yelled at and treated rudely for walking near the animals. Not open to anyone unless you are 100% adopting. Refused at least 6 costumers within the 4 minutes I was there because people wanted to browse. Super embarrassing the way they were acting, don’t waste your time.

Wonderful board of directors and shelter staff. They care deeply for all the animals in their care, even when resources (and the facility itself) are extremely limited. I urge everyone to place yourself in the shoes of staff and understand how emotionally taxing it would be to see some of the worst cases of abuse and neglect over and over again. Be patient, be kind, and aim to help above all else!

All the workers look like druggies and they apparently close early for winter hours. Place was disgusting too. Probably needs to close down.

Went in to save a puppy and adopt, they made it super easy and I got to see a couple dogs and fell in love with Ethel. She's been doing great loves the family and is the biggest snuggle buddy.

poor hygiene, I went to be a volunteer and they told me they don't need them, but everything is dirty and messy

Went to socialize with the animals, possibly pet or play with them. We’re unable to adopt at the time due to limited home space. As a kid I volunteered at a shelter that allowed people to come in and spend time with the animals, however this shelter does not allow that. It’s unfortunate that this is the only shelter in Moses lake. It was a very awkward experience and since we were not looking to adopt they turned us away by saying they were “closing” 2 hours early. The facility lobby was extremely dirty and had a foul smell, which leads me to believe they’re lacking in overall cleaning and maintenance. The most chaotic shelter I’ve ever stepped foot in. I will never return. I’d suggest people go to othello if they are interested in animal socialization, or volunteer work. Like any business they reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, so they were well within their rights to turn us away. However quite a disappointing situation.

Awesome staff. I love cats! They are great people and though $100 May seam like a lot, you get more than that in shots / vaccines, chip, spade or nudder
