Whitney Chevrolet in Montesano... Let me warn u about MIKE HAWK a black salesman that will charm u and tell u that he's ur best friend and all that sweet SHIT... He had me FOOLED big time!!! He sold me a 2016 Ford Focus telling me this was a great car low mileage but there's something he didn't want to tell me that he knew about while rushing me though the paperwork so I could sign it quick .. He didn't tell me about how bad the problem was with the transmission that he knew about... I'm 72 yo I would think I would have noticed why he was rushing me to sign... I feel like a FOOL... I can't believe how he USED ME AND MY KIDS.... I baught the car for my granddaughter and now I have to explain to her this problem ... I'm an old DISABLED VETERAN and MIKE HAWK took an advantage of me... Please don't go to WHITNEYS CHEVROLET IN MONTESANO... I brought this problem to the MANAGER There and guess what he told me **THAT IT'S MY PROBLEM NOW**" IT'S AS IS... I was so PISSED OFF to hear that... At our most vulnerable Whitney took advantage of us with the purchase of a 2016 Ram eco diesel pick up. With cancer treatments we needed a reliable car. We purchased this p/u and it was in the shop 12 times. They sold us a used lemon knowing the laws in Washington are lax. We spoke with the previous owner who owns a construction company in Raymond. He had to have a reliable truck and ended up taking an $8,000 loss trading it for another vehicle. We lost much more and finally decided to cut our losses at about $15,000. I do not recommend them and warn those looking for a new or used car to go elsewhere. Not a reputable dealer. We had a red light on the dash and sensors shutting down the engine when we brought it home from the dealership. Chrysler in Olympia finally got it running long enough to trade it off. Terrible experience.

We took our RV into their Detail Shop. We were quoted $600.00 for "2 men, 2 days work". We got it back the morning of the second day and 1 man had washed and waxed it. No price reduction was offered. When we arrived home we had to use a ladder to scrub the rubber trim above the door and windows. Next time we will take it to a RV shop. We give 3 stars because they are friendly, did a basic wash job, and do a great job when servicing our truck.

I called Whitney's to get a minor rear passenger floor board leak fixed on my Honda Accord. They informed me that they sub out water leaks repairs to a guy from Tacoma. And the repairs usually run $300 to $500 to FIX. After 2 days, I called to see if the job was completed. The service department said, "our water guy left you a quote of $1300 to fix the leak. The charge for today is $408, no repairs done!" So I paid $408 to be quoted, which was never mentioned during any correspondence with this repair department.

Finally an honest service department at a dealership that isn't filled with profit hound service managers. I've lived in the area for 3 years and am not a local. I quickly found that the service department at Whitney's is far superior to five star in Aberdeen or driving to Olympia, which is a lesson I learned the hard way. It also seems like a family friendly business that takes care of their employees which is nice to see. Their employees were kind, honest and respected Covid protocols. Wouldn't think twice to buy a vehicle here if I needed one in the future.

My husband and I have bought vehicles through Whitney's a few times now. The first ones were great but this time was absolute hell!!!! I wanted to go from my equinox to an all electric vehicle which Whitney's found in Oregon which I was ecstatic about. My husband and Hawk went back and forth for financing and in the end they didn't get me all the rebates another dealer was able to get me, they didn't even bother calling my bank back after getting us approved through gm financial after we told them that we wanted to go through our bank if possible because my bank told us after we called them directly that Whitney's didn't even bother calling back with a match offer which pissed me off and come to find out it's because Whitney's gets a kick back when they use gm financial. Not only all of that but they jacked my payment almost 200 dollars! After I went in to test drive a car they had there after talking to hawk I felt like somethings fishy was going on so my husband reached out to five star to see what they could do (as a person looking for a vehicle you can shop around and shouldn't get major push back rudely from a dealer) and I got exactly what I wanted 13,500 dollars in rebates my payment went up 2 dollars and I even got financing where I wanted!!! So In the end I was going to go in and talk to hawk and Whitney's the following business day and explain that we ended up going with five star however I didn't get that chance at all! They even apparently went and got the car from Oregon before even hearing from me that I wanted to do this deal. There was no way in hell I was going to pay almost 900 a month for a Chevy bolt car!! The next day I called to see if the finance guy which is also unfortunately the guy that cancels the gap and warranties from previous vehicles could get the paperwork ready for me to cancel my gap and warranty like the lady did last time since I only have a half hour lunch and I wanted to be able to talk to hawk in person but mr finance guy Dale Turner not only was downright hostile and rude he belittled me for not texting and saying I went elsewhere. He also wouldn't answer any questions before I gave him my full name. I have every right to go where I want when I want without being treated the way mr. Turner treated me on the phone. He continued being rude and wouldn't stop even after I told him I would not sit here and listen to him be rude to me so I hung up the phone. Not 30 seconds later I got a voicemail on my phone belittling me even more all because I hung up the phone (did he expect me to stay on and take that b.s.) and continued to call me names on a voicemail which I will be keeping. Ashley I'm not sure what she does there but she was absolutely wonderful when I called back refusing to work with Mr Turner and said she would have everything ready for me on my lunch and all I had to do was stop in and sign! I asked multiple times to talk to a manager and multiple times I was told they were busy but there was a message into Michelle however almost a week later I haven't heard a single word from a manager named Michelle. I was truly trying not to write this review to have this dealt with the manager that way no one else will ever have to go through what I did. Do not buy from this company they don't care about you they only care about the bottom dollar!!!!!

You must go see Tom in the body shop if you want THE BEST SERVICE. I COULD not get ahold of 5stars Ford in aberdern. I tried for 3 days. I live in Ocean Shores so it would be closer amd i bought my car there. But never again. I can't say enough about Toms service. You can't teach it. He really LOVES his job. Everyone that i came in contact were wonderful. And they got my car repaired 1 day early. Nothing as been this easy ever. Especially with cars. I will always drive a little extra knowing Im getting the BEST!!!
