The staff is very friendly, helpful, and provides exceptional customer service, with cashiers noted for their amazing attitudes. Customers find it easy to enter and exit the parking lot. However, many reviewers note that prices are considerably higher than at other stores, with some saying they are beyond crazy or at least 50 percent more than national chains. Some feel the prices aren’t bad at all, while others state they would drive to another location or town to save money. Several customers specifically prefer the Monte location over the one in Elma, which seems to have higher prices in general.

It's a clean store . The staff is very friendly for the most part. It's easy to enter and exit the parking lot. The store is always well supplied and neet and clean. The only complaint I have is their prices are beyond crazy. I do understand making a profit but at the expense of your neighbor? Just don't get that part.

Small town grocery shopping at its finest! For those of us that live in remote locations, we need a store like Thriftway! The store is always clean! And everyone is so helpful (even the customers)! Inventory is very reliable and prices aren’t bad at all. Thank You!
