I just came here to say I got 5 guppies from pet smart, ALL died within a couple days of swim bladder disease! I came to the pet stop to just get 2 more, thinking maybe it was my tank, they're SO healthy and thriving! Beautiful colors, ate right away and are settling nicely. Learned my lesson - here over pet smart any day ! I've also gotten some massive cichlids from these guys which again, grew beautifully with zero health issues

Really disappointed in this store. Lady at the desk was rude, the animals they had were poorly taken care of, with barely the bare essentials needed for them, they had rabbits who cages looked like never been cleaned with huge piles of droppings in the corners with mold growing on them, they had bettas in tiny little glass bowls with barely any water that was all brown and dirty. They also for some reason don't allow pictures to be taken of anything inside the store, which is probably cause everything is in such bad condition with rows of empty tanks and ceiling lights and are constantly flickering. They had almost everything overpriced, a very small selection of animals that are not taken cared of properly, and unfriendly service. This is by far THE WORST pet stores I've ever seen and been to. The only reason I would ever buy an animal from there, would be to rescue them from that awful store.

Lots of sick and dying animals. Was disgusted everytime I went here. Saw some half eaten rats and mice from them getting stressed and eating each other. Lots of animals has sores and obvious health issues. Store is just dirty and gross in general

This place is absolutely disgusting bought hamster food from here and is infested with bugs I seen on another comment someone also found bugs in their bird food something needs to be done about this place its sad ?... so thats means all the animals in that place is infested with bugs and not getting the right care what can we do?

This place is great everything I need for pet supplies are here the employ that was there is helpful and seems to like her job if you are in the area stop by and check it out to see if what you need is there it's perfect for me close to home and has what I'm looking for ???

God, where to begin. First and foremost, this place is an animal rights nightmare and is needs to be shut down asap. How this place has managed to stay in business for as long as it has, but with the complaints of animal abuse/neglect and filth going back for years, is absolutely flooring to me. This entire shop is a biohazard. As the other reviews say, the most noticeable thing about this place is the absolutely putrid smell that fills the store. When you walk in you feel like you just walked into a hoarders house, animal cages and products stacked floor to ceiling and crowding the walk way. Dark dim lighting so you cant get a good view of all the abused and dirty animals to truly take in how severe the abuse and neglect of these animals is.. When I went they had a cage of kittens who looked horribly sick, one was so bloated, likely from worms, and they all had crusty eyes and runny noses. I came in hoping to get some nerite snails for my aquarium, and the woman working led me over to the tank and showed me them. The tanks looked super dirty, and the snails were all mystery snails. When I asked the price, since it wasn't listed, she told me $6.99. The lady was very nice to my face and I didn't want to be rude so I bought some, but once I got home I noticed that all the snails had chips or holes in their shells and dark and dirty. When I went online to research the snails I saw that they were the cheapest type of snail you could get, typically going for $1-$2 each. Like other reviews say, not only is this place horribly abusive to all the animals they sell, they scam you on price. All the other negative reviews are spot on accurate. If you care about animals please report this place to animal control/aspca/humane society as I have. I was shocked to read this shop has been having the same issues for over 15+ years and have been allowed to continue for this long. It's genuinely sad and vile. All the positive reviews are so obviously fake if you've ever actually stepped one foot in there and seen it yourself, and likely made by the owners friends to try and make this place seem it's not as bad as it seems and down play the bad reviews. Please please don't give this place money. It needs to be shut down and it's sickening and depressing to think of all the animals this place has been allowed to neglect and abuse and kill. Disgusting. Drive the extra 15 mins to Snohomish and go to bridges pets where the prices are fair and the animals are actually well taken care of and everything's CLEAN.

Bought 2lbs of parakeet food from them this morning for the first time just to get home and realize it was infested with weevils. All of their bulk seed needs to be thrown out at their store.

This place needs to be shut down! The rats have sores all over them and no hair. The bunny cages have piles of waste in them. Flies living in the cages. These poor animals need to be removed from their care. It was literally the most heartbreaking scene I have seen in a pet store.

Gave me good advice on giving my cat goat milk for his stomach problems and was very friendly and kind but the bird care kinda lame. The nappy Amazon was in a small cage with mirror in it (there are many reasons why mirrors are extremely dangerous for birds mentally) The Amazons had a long nails and their beaks could use a little trim/file. Their enrichment was cotton toys. Their water bowls were clean :) but their diet didn’t look good. There seem to be a lot of seeds and very colorful pellets that look like they probably have a quite a bit of sugar. If they added some more natural perches into the double yellow headed Amazons cage and some natural toys it would be great! The nappy needs the same things and a bigger cage. The quaker looked good, his color was definitely stunning! But I would say he needed a few more natural toys. I bet they do give their birds vegetables and fruits maybe just outside of the cage, hopefully. I personally get my bird toys at planet pleasure, it’s a really great brand and the bird toys are awesome. My amazons love them! And for my wooden toys, I like to go to bird tricks or Hootn holler bird toys and I get all my foraging toys from amazon. The foraging toys is how I give them their seed. It keeps them busy! The pellets I love is Tops, they’re natural their freeze dried and just having a really good chop mix with a couple of fruits and veggies. They check out all my boxes! All I hope is that they work on giving they birds a more enrich life. No hate just looking out for there gorgeous birds.

Got a kitten from here and he had ringworm & fleas. I got ringworm on my face from him. They make you sign something so they aren't liable for the health problems. My younger sibling got a rat here that bit her and started having eye issues- may be unrelated but I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't. I won't support this business in the future and I wouldn't recommend them.
