This place is a joke. I am so beyond disappointed in the level of care my son received here. He hit his head and needed stitches, we brought him to the ER immediately after it happened. In the waiting room is where it began, there was a bloody towel left in the waiting room, they took an adult who had arrived after us with a hand laceration, over a 5 year old boy with a head laceration. From there we waited in the waiting room for another 15 minutes, once we got into the room, the doctor looked at his wound and said he would leave it for the next doctor because his shift was over in 15 minutes, he didn’t check for a concussion or anything else. No check ins, no offer of pain medication for him until the next doctor finally showed up 1.5 hours later. We have now been sitting in the ER since 9:30pm. We watched at least 4 other patients come and go before they moved us. Once they finally brought us back to the room where they would do the stitches, I overheard one of the nurses mention a pediatric dose and then say, “I hope it doesn’t kill him.” Any parent would freak out since they are giving him light sedation. The other nurse apologized and made the excuse of her shift is almost over. It is currently 2:10 am the next day, we are still waiting. Once they were finally ready to see my child, it was so late he had fallen asleep and was woken up to pretty much getting a shot in his arm. My son has received the least amount of care I have ever seen in a hospital. From now on I will go to any other hospital than this. It’s 3:30 in the morning and we are finally being discharged. It was traumatic, way to long for to wait for my child to get care(6hours) and 7 stitches.

In 2020, I was dealing with extreme pain that seemed to come out of nowhere. I was vomiting for weeks, couldn’t keep water down, had extreme pain from my menstrual cycles, etc. I was trying to find a diagnosis to relieve me. I went to the Monroe emergency department one day to try and find relief from my symptoms, that felt like they were killing me from the inside out. I was met with Dr Ram P. Sharma, who told me I was not experiencing any pain. I sat there crying and moaning for hours, only to be met with completely unempathetic ears and an extremely rude attitude. Dr Ram told me, verbatim, “ I see the way you look, I see how skinny you are, I see the pick marks on your face. I know exactly why you’re here.” That doctor and that instance has caused me more medical trauma than anyone will ever understand. The pick marks on my face, were from cystic acne, from the disorder I was FINALLY diagnosed with, with no help from your facility. In fact the only help Dr Ram did give me, was the advice of, when asked where I could get an MRI, “I don’t know, you’re an adult you can figure it out yourself.” I was 22 dealing with immense pain having never navigated the healthcare system alone.
Fast forward to may 8th, 2024. I have been off my birth control for months due to not being able to get a refill. I came into the emergency department to seek relief from the immense pain I was feeling and the constant vomiting. I was not helped at all. I was put in a bed in the hallway, where the entire floor could hear me dry heaving and throwing up more than hourly. The nurses checked on me a few times, but the doctor refused to give me anything stronger than Tylenol. I went through my notes from my visit that day, and it is full of untruths and exaggerations on Dr Sonja Piber’s part. The dr continued to say that I refused imaging, and that I was persistent in receiving narcotics. I only asked for narcotics after every thing they gave me did not work, and I was met with disbelief and treated as though I was drug seeking and attention seeking. I left without receiving Tylenol because I will not pay to get it in a hospital when I know it will not work due to my previous medical history, including ALL of my diagnoses. The doctor lied on the notes, saying that I had not experienced ANY VOMITING while I was there. I was vomiting the entire time! To the point where other nurses would stop by and ask me if I needed another vomit bag. Why did the doctor say I was never vomiting while I was there? I walked IN vomiting.
I am extremely disappointed with the way that this emergency room handles young people who are in pain or searching for medical answers. I plan on filing grievances with dr Ram Sharma and with dr Sonja Piber. To know that this is how our young people are being treated is something that more people should be aware of when sending them to your facility. I went to the emergency department in Kirkland and was immediately met with kindness and understanding. The drs were fully prepared to run as many tests as needed and wanted to make sure I was not in pain. That is what doctors should do.
At this point I am at a loss of words, I can not say how traumatized this experience has made me and my entire family feel. I don’t know what to do, I don’t know where to go, but I know that this needs brought to someone’s attention

The wait time at Evergreen Hospital is absolutely horrendous. My father's health was on the line, and yet we were forced to wait for what felt like an eternity just to receive basic medical care. The lack of urgency and efficiency in their operations is inexcusable. Patients should not have to suffer needlessly due to the hospital's incompetence.
It is a disservice to the community and a danger to those in need of immediate medical attention that live close by. Waiting for hours on end while a loved one's condition worsens is a nightmare no one should have to endure. Seek care elsewhere where your health and safety are truly valued.

Worst as far as wait time is concerned.

Everyone was nice. But waiting 3 HOURS for a Covid test result and xray is absurd especially considering it was in my chart with the diagnosis 15 minutes after it happened. Never go here again. Rather die

I visited urgent care at 2 am due to severe abdominal pain. The nurse team quickly attended to me, administering pain relief quickly to alleviate the excruciating pain. Doctor Lee was attentive and promptly conducted my blood work and CT scan. The diagnosis revealed acute pancreatitis. The nurse team and doctor ensured I was pain-free before leaving and provided an accurate diagnosis. I highly recommend Dr. Lee if you ever find yourself there.

On Aug 23, an elderly man was brought in by ambulance. He'd very recently finished 6 weeks of old school chemo and radiation. He flew through those treatments.I cannot thank all the Dr's and nurses who attended him. The receptionist and anyone else involved with his care. You all saved his life. You diagnosed covid and pneumonia. You all took such perfect care. It's 12 days later. He's still in the hospital you transported him to.You chose the best and right place. He's needed serious care. Where he was transported to is also in direct connection with all of his Dr's.Thanks to everyone's care at Evergreen ER, his outlook is very promising.I've never seen anyone so sick in my life except for on tv.Bless all of you ?

Absolute crap! Quality of care is a joke! We have been waiting now for 3+ hours and no one cares. If you can avoid coming here I would. If it would let me give less than 1 star I would. If this was just today i would understand but this has happened alot.

Long wait, but like everywhere, they are a bit short staffed. The good: great doctor!!! When we finally got to see him, he was courteous, concerned, and capable. My husband was in severe back pain, and the doctor scheduled an MRI and a CT scan. The not so good: I had to get my husband into a wheelchair and the ER entrance room has STAIRS!! Ridiculous for people with ambulatory issues. Also, they wrote a referral to a back specialist, but the back specialist still hasn't received the referral and can't schedule an appointment without it. Very frustrating. It's been over 6 hours.

The problem with government is there’s no quality control over it. The R Nurse and doc on night shift were very nice to me in a not so happy state. 5 stars for them. Fair chance they saved my life. Could be the times but things sure have seemed to change over the years.felt more like a social club setting up front, the rent a cop couldn’t secure his own pants from falling off and reception, not impressed.

EDIT: I did call and leave a message before posting this...it's in their voicemail. I have been to this ER several times. It's fairly average, around three stars. However, I'm bumping them down to two stars and writing this review today because yesterday I was seen by physician assistant Ram Sharma. If you ever go to this ER and are assigned Mr. Sharma, I would advise you to respectfully decline and ask for literally anyone else. He does not listen to patients, as evidenced by the attached screenshot of my after visit summary. There are various false statements that indicate he either misunderstood me egregiously or straight-up lied on this document. First, he wrote that I fell. I did NOT fall, and I told him this at the very beginning of our meeting. I said that I worked out and started to feel pain. Then, he stated that I hang by one arm in aerial silks. I have NO idea where he got that from. Not even my teachers hang by one arm, that is INCREDIBLY dangerous! My mother, who drove me to the ER, mentioned that I pull myself up to the silks, but she motioned with both arms. Next, he said that I did not have nausea. I absolutely did have nausea and told him that, again, in the beginning. But of course, he wasn't listening to my complaint of nausea. In fact, he did not take any blood work or do the ultrasound that I asked for (since I did not want more radiation from x-rays). Instead, he poked around my abdomen and said that because I was young and healthy (because I work out), that I'm fine and have costochondritis. This false idea that young people can't have serious problems is backward-thinking and the reason why people my age are repeat ER visitors. This thinking gets people killed. I don't know how to make that clearer. He said I had costochondritis because I winced when he touched my ribs. However, as I said to him, it also hurt me when he pressed the left side of my stomach. He responded that he was pushing to see if it would hurt, because that would show some kind of pathology. He also, however, said that some pain was normal because he was, after all, touching my organs. Make it make sense. Sounds like he was picking and choosing which pain fit his picture of a diagnosis. He said he was going to prescribe me anti-inflammatory and pain medications. What he did NOT tell me was that one of the pills he was prescribing was an opioid. He should have asked if I was okay with that! Because I was not! What a waste of the pharmacy's time and energy! But don't just take my word for it. Look up his reviews on google, and you'll see that he is notorious for misdiagnosing people, including one woman who almost lost a kidney because of his medical negligence. I do not feel safe in his care, and it honestly saddens me.

Go to another Er if you can. I thought I broke a bone in my hand. They got me back right away and I was stuck in a room for about 2 hours. Someone peeked there head in and said does your hand hurt. I said yes and they left for another 45 min only person was kind was the X-ray tech. Then someone came in and gave me a form for a consultation to Ortho bandged my hand in ace bandage and discharged me. They gave me no time of day. Go somewhere else. Care their is Garbage.

I almost lost my 2.5 year old daughter because of this emergency room being dismissive and not doing enough testing. We came in April 17th as she had a 104° fever that spiked after 3 days of throwing up and diarrhea, as well stomach pain. They tested her for COVID and just said to treat her with Tylenol. By Thursday the fevers were back up to 104° so we went to a different ER where they immediately saw her appendix had ruptured the early morning of or the night before we took her to the Evergreen ER (5 days prior to the visit to a different ER) if they had even pushed on her belly my daughter wouldn’t have been almost septic by the time they had to operate. It’s been nearly 3 weeks since everything started and we are still in the hospital fighting this reoccurring infection.

If I could leave no stars I would, this is the worst place to bring a baby. They know nothing about newborns, I brought my 3 day old child here, because we where concerned about jaundice and they couldn't even figure out how to draw her blood, we waited for 4 hours for them to tell us we needed to go to children's hospital.
