We own a homebuilding business and have been partners with Canyon Creek Cabinet Company for over 25 years. We build and sell 80 to 100 homes a year and Canyon Creek Cabinets does all of them. The quality and dependability of this company is off the charts. We know they build a quality product and if needed, they immediately handle any issues that may arise. Because they are local, we are fortunate enough to take advantage of their training, insight into trends and styles and the ability to meet in-person regularly. We use their Cornerstone product line in Maple in all of our homes with the majority stained and the remainder painted. Our cabinet package is one of the stand out features in our homes and we credit that to Cabinet Creek Cabinets. They’ve done a very good job training our staff on their newest and very efficient ordering system and they are always willing and able to provide additional support. We value our long standing relationship with them.

Very happy contact today w a Customer Service Agent; 'Judy'. She was diligent in helping search our 24 year old order!, and research a small issue with one of our cabinet glides. So impressed at such great customer support. Our cabinets have served us well for many years, and todays interaction was far above my expectation.

TLDR: Unless you have infinite time and patience, I recommend working with anyone else.
We were super excited to work with a local company for the cabinets in our kitchen remodel. Unfortunately, our experience has been extremely disappointing and has caused long cascading delays for our project, costing us lots of time and money. We're still in the thick of it, but maybe you can avoid our pain!
The biggest issue has been timing. We expected cabinets to be delivered in late January, and cabinets started to arrive in mid to late march. I say started, because it is mid-may and we still haven't received all the pieces we require for our project. Some of the missing pieces have June expected dates, while others are "no known date". People literally randomly show up at our house to drop of one or two cabinets on our porch every now and then, but our order is still far from complete.
While our contract said "expect 6 weeks, but leave time for things like weather and traffic issues" our reality has been closer to 6 months with no end in sight. This isn't contractor issues or anything like that - it's simply getting the boxes delivered that we need to put together our kitchen.
The second issue has been consistency. The design process was meticulous and a bit grueling, but every single dimension and material was specified in great detail. Despite this, we received cabinets that were the wrong color, wrong material, wrong depth, and some that had doors installed opening the wrong direction. We also had one cabinet that needed to be returned on a Warranty claim do to build quality.
While there are more expensive options, the price of these cabinets is far from budget. The quality so far has been... OK I guess? Every single door needs to be adjusted to get it straight, which surprised me. We have a lazy susan insert that bangs against the door and scrapes against the back wall of the cabinet. I'm frankly scared to push canyon creek to fix any of this stuff because I'm worried we'll just push our project out by another 4 months because of a poor lazy susan install. The delays have just beaten me into accepting whatever I can get, and I'm planning to just DIY fix stuff once we can actually use our kitchen again.
As some other reviews mentioned, cabinets are basically the cornerstone of a kitchen remodel, and without them, the project stalls. When cabinets don't show up, all the other bits need to be rescheduled. When you can't predict when they will show up, then you can't schedule anything else! I'm starting to look into sourcing the missing pieces from a different supplier, just to unstick our project. The cause and scope of the delays is confounding - especially because what's left is really simple pieces.
When we complain, we hear that there's some new production facility that came online. If that's the case, we should have been warned that we'd be the guinea pigs. It's not working. Until they figure their stuff out, I strongly recommend you steer clear.

I am a design consultant in Alaska and have had nothing but positive experience with Canyon Creek. My contractors are impressed with the construction and finish. They have SO MANY options that you can really customize the cabinets for your space. Communication is clear, timelines are honored and customer service with any parts, pieces or warranty are handled with efficiently and care. Highly recommend them.

I wish I had read these reviews prior to making the decision to order from Canyon Creek. They were recommended to us by Great Floors, most likely due to the kick back percentage they receive from orders. We placed our order for kitchen & bathroom cabinets for our remodel on August 3, 2023 for a shade under $30K , a second order for some changes on Aug 11, 2023 for near $5K, another add order on Sept 21, 2023 for $4K for a total order or just shy of $40K.
Cabinets began to arrive on Sept 21, 2023 with a second shipment expected Oct 31, 2023, why the second shipment was over a month longer was never really explained other than Canyon Creek was going through a production change/remodel of their own and had apparently ran in to permit issues which placed delays on production, NOT OUR PROBLEM. This is where everything went to hell. Some items did not arrive as expected which began to delay the entire project. We were told over and over again that the remaining items would be in the truck and in “Tuesday”. We heard this same line for over two months.
When you have delays in cabinets, this creates a domino effect on counter tops, appliance installation and plumbing and electrical delays.
Fast forward and our project was finally completed on Feb. 13, 2024 due to the delays caused by Canyon Creek. We received ZERO apologies from them, ZERO offer of any compensation for our inconvenience we had for 3+ months in living with a partially completed kitchen. The only response we received from them was “We reviewed everything that happened with this order, and do not see any significant issues caused by Canyon Creek. Therefore, we are denying this request.” We requested some compensation ($1,500 or 3.75% of the total) from them on Feb 14, 2024 and this response came back on March 26, 2024 from SueLynn Cole of Canyon Creek. Took them over a month to review this?
Our choice cannot be reversed but anyone reading this may have a choice of NOT USING this abysmal company with ZERO customer service or integrity. Read and believe all the other 1 star reviews – they are posted for a reason.
Canyon Creek – I do not want some pat answer or response to this post like “We sincerely apologize for the difficulties you have experienced. It is always our intention to deliver the quality and service that our customers have come to expect and we clearly fell very short here. I have shared your feedback with our management team.” Or other less than acceptable excuses you have already posted on other 1 star reviews. You have already proved your response as copied above. Oh ya, we’re also not ecstatic with your quality either. Why do grain patterns run in different directions on drawers/cupboard doors on the same wall? Looks stupid.
They have a 3.2 Google rating and a 2.9 Yelp rating for a reason!

Canyon Creek is one of my preferred cabinet companies as a kitchen and bath designer. Their array of finishes, door styles and cabinet construction options offer me the flexibility to create unique and tailored designs for my clients. In addition to that, every person I've interacted with at Canyon Creek takes pride in what they produce and truly seem to care about what they do.

Unfortunately, we've never had such a terrible experience with a company. My husband and I are building a custom home and were referred to Canyon Creek by both a neighbor and a friend, after we had a less than desirable experience with another local cabinet company. Since ordering from them in late Summer, we have had nothing but problems. First of all, their communication is absolutely horrible. Delivery notifications have been wrong or missed, leaving us in a lurch when things showed up unannounced, as well as large portions of our order being backordered with absolutely no heads up. Their cabinets aren't much better than IKEA, honestly, with mismatched edges, gaps, and overall less than great craftsmanship. And all of a sudden, right as we were ordering, they informed us they no longer offer white interior for their cabinets. Who doesn't have white as an option?? The most recent blunder is that we ordered a REPLACEMENT cabinet front because the first one was the wrong dimension, and we just went to pick up the new version and instead of 5 5/8 inches tall, someone mistyped it and it is 55 inches tall!! I'm about to lose my mind with this company, and they have set us back at least 3-4 months at this point. Do not risk your time and money!!

I've used them for years as a small builder. They are professional and predictable. And when I need an extra part or a cabinet is damaged by shipping, I can get it quickly. Unlike cabinets from China. Good company.

We do our own remodeling work, but we don't build cabinets. We had a very specific request of our local kitchen cabinet store: Quality cabinets in black walnut. Not many cabinet makers use woods like black walnut. Our designer recommended Canyon Creek. We are sooooo glad she did. The fit and finish of the cabinets is the best we have used. Kevin, the company's representative had told us that black walnut can have fairly extreme color variations naturally and if any cabinet doors or drawers did not meet our expectations that they would replace them. We didn't replace any. They look great. We now have one of the best looking Kitchens in town. We installed panels over the refrigerator, freezer and dishwasher. They were all made exactly to the manufacturer's specifications. Kevin even came to our house after we finished to make sure we were completely satisfied. We certainly are!Service: Pre-made cabinet design & installation

Visited the showroom to look at cabinet options, and Renee was super helpful! She showed me everything from construction to stains and options for faces and organization. Looking forward to getting our cabinets ordered and setting them in our home!

We bought our custom cabinets for our kitchen and bathrooms from Canyon Creek in 2019. They've held up very well. They were very responsive in providing replacements during our original installation, (two of the solid wood cabinet doors arrived warped due to how the wood dried after they made them, and there were some drawer boxes that were damaged in shipping - given the number of pieces we ordered, this was not unreasonable. All of the replacements were perfect and were sent in a timely manner.)Fast forward 4 years, everything is still perfect. No warping and no quality issues. Recently, we wanted to rearrange our pantry layout and install a sliding roll-out that we bought but didn't install. We noticed that we did not have the mounting spacers or screws for it. I called Canyon Creek and Laura answered. She looked up my order number and promised to ship them out right away. The cabinets were expensive, but they are beautiful and durable. For us, Canyon Creek have stood by their product and have provided us with excellent customer service, both during the initial purchase and 4 years after the purchase date.Service: Cabinet design

Absolutely awful! These cabinets peel at a blink of an eye. Don’t stand behind their product! I have $13,000 worth of Cabinets that are completely worthless. I told the sales people at Kitchen Cabinets Reno that I “live” in my kitchen, I cook.If painted cabinets were an issue I should’ve been told. The slightest water destroys the paint. I don’t know if something happened in 2018 seems to be a trend. If the company stands behind their product, then they should make this right. When I sell my house, I will have to replace all of my cabinets. ?Service: Pre-made cabinet design & installation

In 2018 we had our small kitchen remodeled. We choose Canyon Creek Cabinet Company on the recommendation of our contractor. That was a big mistake. Well over $10,000 and by 2023 they need to be replaced. The finish comes off any time water touches it. I have attached photos. I’m very disappointed and can’t tell you how strongly we feel we choose the wrong company.Service: Pre-made cabinet design & installation

Cabinet was delivered late and they failed to return to me a cabinet door they required me to send for a color match. When they were told about this, they waited four days to send the cabinet door back.In my opinion this is a company that treats its clients with disdain and has no appreciation for my business. I would NEVER order from them again.UPDATE: The owner of this business claims they want to "delight" their customers. But if actual customers were their concern, why not contact me directly? The reason, in my opinion, is that business who don't care about their customers (and only care about money) monitor these review sites and make sure to post "we care a lot" responses publicly, while not bothering to take a single minute to communicate with the dissatisfied customer.Talk is cheap (free, really). Buyer beware.
