I just left this salon, and I felt like it was the most rushed, unrelaxing experience ever. I got a full set, and later found out that the cuticle cleanings are an extra charge because cuticle cleaning is apart of the manicure service. Then my pedicure, the lady didn’t scrub my feet, clean the gunk out my nails but tried to proceed to put a gel polish over the not properly done pedicure. The gunk and the cuticle got done on my feet when I literally made her stop. 1 out of 10. Would not go again.

I came to the Monroe area for a work contract for a few months. Found Blue Ocean Nails on google and decided to give them a try. I continued to go to them for my dip manicures and gel pedicures for the duration of my time here. Each and every time I was pleasantly greeted and serviced in under 30 minutes without an appointment. Every time the quality was excellent and they always asked to make sure I was pleased. The quality and service here is exceptional. Highly recommend.

Went in with shellac polish from a salon in Arizona (awesome job lasted 2.5+ weeks). They soaked it off and did a shellac manicure. Switching people multiple times throughout. The end product was so thin and with bubbles. It chipped to the point it needed to be removed by day 6. When removed I could see the original base coat/shiny coat still on from Arizona almost a month ago. For $45 I expect way more and a better product. Won't be returning.

I came in for a gel pedicure and filing of my fingernails. I had no less than 4 different people working on me. My fingernails were hardly touched and I had to ask for them to be filed correctly. The gel lasted for less than a week before it started peeling. They wanted cash for the tip, eh ok feels hinky to me. Really unhappy and I won't go there again.

Have been going to Blue Ocean for many years for pedicures and acrylic nails. Love the seasonal nail art designs they can do from my Pinterest idea boards. I usually spend $100, that includes deluxe pedi (regular nail polish), acrylic fill with shellac nail polish, nail art designs, and monetary tip for 2 nail technicians. If you aren't sure what you want, tell them your price point and have them give you suggestions. They are my Goto spot for self care!

I don't think I've ever looked at my hands after getting my nails done and thought, "These are flawless" - Until now. Super clean edges, perfect shaping and polish, beautiful work. Great service, kind employees, soothing environment. Love!
