Great vintage antique store! I found a bunch of great items and some were so reasonably priced! I did splurge on an item but was told it was hand made by the local vendor and it was just too good to pass up. You can tell there’s a lot of thought in what goes in the store!

Black Barrel is the perfect spot for all of your antique and gift giving needs. I find the best vintage pieces there as well as my FAVORITE candles, they smell heavenly and I always have to get two of each seasonal scent. It's easy to put together great gifts there as well!

A nice, clean place full of interesting things and kind staff. A perfect example of quality over quantity. While the store itself isn't huge, it offers a great variety of antiques (you'll actually want!) at wonderful prices.There's a giant antique warehouse near me and- while it sounds nice on paper- it takes a lot of looking through overpriced junk! This spot felt like the good stuff was condensed into a store. Absolutely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Oh my gosh, how have I never stumbled on this store before? It’s adorable! I’m not one to typically write Google reviews, but I felt compelled. It has a little bit of everything. Downtown Monroe is beautiful, and this shop is right on the main street. I came in looking for a unique gift for a friend. You know, not the type of thing you could get at a department store. I got a few unique bracelets, and the owner convinced me to smell some of the candles (she literally makes then in the back ), I’m not exaggerating when I tell you…These are the best candles ever. I’ve already burned through four or five. And now I have an order to satisfy all the gifts I need to get for people for the holidays. My favorite is the salted caramel and anthropology. I highly recommend checking this store out; it’s a great place to get any gifts and support a local small business. Five stars!

I absolutely love this vintage shop. It’s so cute and so much to look at. Had to purchase some candles of course. They smell amazing and don’t bother my asthma!
