Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. I've been coming here for almost a year at least once a week. This time I decided to use pick up bc of my lunch hour. The woman takes FOREVER to bring me my groceries, hence, the point of pick up?? She then goes extremely slow and stops putting the groceries in my car to tell me a story! I tell her I don't have my ID I can come back and pick up my bottle of liquor. She conti us to talk and I tell her again it's OK take the liquor out of my car I'll come back I don't have time. She says ok ill put your name on it at customer service and bring your receipt. I'm off at 12. I come back with my receipt the self checkout teller gets the PIC who goes to find the liquor then says he can't find it....I have to go look for the liquor myself and find it right in the same aisle as usual. We go up to checkout and he asks me to pay for the liquor. I again have to explain the ENTIRE STORY bc he's not paying any attn or listening. He then tells me I need to call safeway.com in the morning. I took the receipt and walked out. A waste of my time and such a disappointment. Extremely frustrating and irritating. This isn't ok at all or fair and it's highly annoying to waste your customers time like this.

Recommend Manager Stephanie has a refresher on her customer experience skills . Today when visiting this location to purchase things for my sick girlfriend, I had a question for the friendly cashier Cindy about the price discrepancy of the Vicks humidifier I was purchasing. The website showed this item should be $13 cheaper than the store had it priced as. Cindy quickly got her manager Stephanie involved, who instantly was dismissive and kept giving me incorrect information about why the price had a $13 difference. Instead of coming up with a solution she kept telling me if I ordered it online it would reflect the $13 cheaper price option. I informed her that I had already tried to order it this way, but once i went to check out my cart, the price would change. As a manager she could have easily corrected the price for me, $13 is well within her limit, but instead she talked down to me and belittled me.

DO SOMETHING ABOUT YOUR PHONE LINES PLEASE. FOR THE LAST FEW MONTHS ANYTIME I CALL ANYONE IN THE STORE IT JUST RINGS FOR AN HOUR OR I GET A MESSAGE SYSTEM THATS APPARENTLY NOT CHECKED. THE PHARMACY CANT BE BOTHERED. CUSTOMER SERVICE CANT BE BOTHERED. THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!Need to speak to staff about how nasty they are to customers as well. Especially on the phone where they think they can get away with it. Not okay. Sincerely what is going on with this store ...

Most of the staff are friendly. Store is too small for the population. Selection seems to be getting smaller on many items.

This place has steadily gone downhill, and shows it. Employees are typically rude and scowl, some actively get in the way of shoppers on purpose ? just bought a garlic bread, and not only is it not fresh but some employee has been putting the sticker over the instructions - on all of them. Isles are dirty, shelves will be missing random product for months, homeless outside at the picnic tables at night, etc. Go to haggens in lake tapps and compare literally everything.

Extremely busy Safeway, but it was clean and they had a clerk right on the alcohol aisle as they should. I also came across this little gem.... lol... I didn't know that I produced nut butter....???

Has been a great store. Lay out is nice and very convenient. I would've given 4 or 5 stars if it's not for the obnoxious smell coming in from the floral side. I thought I could ignore it but it is really strong. Gives me a migraine and I have to stop shopping for groceries. Informed workers about it but it appeared they did nothing nor care.

I have ordered a few groceries from this store (pick-up & delivery) Service used to be wonderful! But within the last couple months since they got new management, things have been HORRIBLE. I used to receive great service from the previous manager! My drive up and go orders have taken longer to come out. I have been told by employees in the department that it’s because they have to complete doordash orders before a certain time frame. And the deliveries I have had, you can tell whoever is bagging these items just does not care! I have found my bread in a bag with heavy items.. Raw meat with other cold items. Chemicals with food items, Etc. I can list a bunch of stuff. That, or nothing is bagged at all. When I call, I’m either greeted by someone who doesn’t know anything or a woman who just rushes me off the phone. This is completely unacceptable! I have complained about my groceries to my driver and they have even told me that their own employees have been complaining to management!! This used to be a wonderful store and I never had any complaints wether it was delivery, drive up and go or in store.I will no longer be ordering from this store! I will take my business elsewhere.

I've been a customer of this Safeway location for over 15 years. Folks who work here are always friendly, or so I thought. Today at 1:44PM, I purchased some groceries from a self-checkout stand. A lady was attending the self-checkout stand (I believe her name was Melissa, and she is one of the store managers). I smiled at her as I entered the checkout stand, she would not say or move a muscle. When I exited the checkout, I said to her "have a good day"; she again decided not to say anything and looked the other way like I was not there. At 1:50PM, I came back to buy a pack of gum I forgot to buy. When I exited from the same self-checkout stand, I reached out to her and said to her this time “thank you”; she looked at me for a brief moment, instantly looked the other way without saying anything, completely ignoring me as a person for the third time. She did this all the while saying hellos and good byes to other customers and staff members before and after me. The self-checkout stand was not particularly busy, so she did not have other customers to greet both times I was there. Come to think of it, I don’t remember having a good customer experience with the same lady.I am of Asian descent, and I wonder if this is why she decided to completely ignore me as a person, several times no less. She was perfectly cordial and very friendly to all the others before and after me.At the end of the day, I'm just a shopper, a nobody, so I don’t expect to be treated as a VIP of some kind. However, it does not mean that a customer should be treated like less of a person, a second class citizen. I’m not good with words, and I’m barely typing these sentences because I don’t know what to make of this situation. I don’t have a lot of ways to describe this, but I know it definitely does not make me feel good. What happened today is very demoralizing and depressing, to say the very least.(To the owner of Milton/Edgewood Safeway) I ask you to do two things:1. Please retain a copy of today’s in-store camera footages from 1:30PM to 2:30PM. There are dozens of cameras in the store, and they will confirm my statements.2. If you believe the way I was treated was reasonable, do nothing and move on. If you believe that I (and potentially other customers) should not be made to feel this way, then contact me. Safeway has my contact information because I’ve reached out to the complaints department, but let me know if you need my email/cell.
