“I didn't know what I needed to make the changes that my new fuel pump needed. I needed to go from a stiff metal tubing to a flexible USCG approved tube. I needed all the fittings as well due to the changes. I spent 2 hours at 3 different local chain parts suppliers, they were useless, and I'll never get that time backI went to Williams, Bill had it figured out and sent me on my way in less than 15 minutes. “I really like this store. The employees are helpful and able to help me find what I need. They are usually really well stocked especially for being a smaller location, which obviously they're not going to have everything. Their prices are also very reasonable, much better than other plumbing suppliers from comparison. When I compared pacific with another plumbing supplier they were 29 percent cheaper on ABS fittings, which is pretty significant.”

I spent over an hour at Lowe’s and Ace Hardware trying to find a bolt for my bike rack (M8 or 9 X 120-140) - their bolts were disorganized, the staff didn’t know anything, and I couldn’t find the metric size and length I needed. I ended up with the closest English size bolt but it wouldn’t fit. An older employee whispered to me to go to Tacoma Screw and I am so glad I did. I walked in, showed the guy at the counter what I needed, he walked back, and in a minute had it for me. He even saved me a trip to return the English size bolts, washers & nuts at Lowe’s because he took them in exchange for what I was buying. I also found the coolest quick release drill bit holder - now the bits will not pop out while I’m working.”

“Best place around to get roofing materials, and some of the best prices. Mark up front is very helpful, he's been around roofing since I started roofing 25 years ago. So he knows roofing inside and out. Allot of roofers forget about convoy, but if you don't atleast give them a call, you will never know, if you can get a better deal. So make sure, if your tired of your current supplier,call Convoy. They also have the best loaders, they will go the extra mile, to get you loaded up, it's better than most suppliers, where they hate there job, and could care less about getting your truck loaded. So is a breath of fresh air, too see that. Thank you Convoy, and all the hard workers you have”
“Updated 5/29: Apology to Grainger for not updating my review sooner. The only thing that Grainger missed was during my first pick up, a spanner or bushing to adapt the 5/8" shaft to 3/4" wheel bearing was missing. Otherwise it was a very rewarding experience because Grainger offered a full line of products for professionals, not the kludge you normally find in the big box "consumer stores". I also better understand now some products are shipped from Spokane second day, and others from more remote locations like Illinois that will take longer. Anyway I have a new tire now that will out last my wheelbarror.
Original: Could have been a 6 star. I was looking for a replacement wheel for my old wheelbarrow. Locally I found many products with unclear indications about the fit. In Granger I saw a full line of products with clear details about how they fit. The technical expert on call knew exactly what she was talking about and gave me clear confirmation of my understandng. no maybe's. So far so good and this could have been a six-star experience except for two hick ups. The first was a missing part when I picked up from the local store in Fife, i.e., a bushings or "spanner" to adapt my 5/8" axel to the 3/4" wheel bearing. Therefore I had to reorder another one that fits 5/8" exactly but it took longer to arrive. Because of the long drive from my home I called the 1-800 number to confirm its arrival. But when I made it to the local store the local employee "guaranteed" to me that it has not arrived yet. This is why I gave a four star. But I will keep in mind that Granger has good selections of products and they are industrial grade.”
“I have never received customer service as amazing as I did here at the Auburn, WA ACE Store.I had pulled into the parking lot to check for an address. I was pulling a little wheelchair trailer. As I was leaving part of the trailer was dragging on the ground. 4 men, drizzling rain, and close to 1 1/2 hrs of their time and efforts and I drove away with a functioning trailer. My total cost??? $0.00. It brought me to tears. I came from 2 1/2 hrs from home, a friend and myself, 2 women stranded without a clue as to what to do. Those 4 men in ACE HARDWARE in Auburn are my heroes.”

“Well, customer service was really good. And prices were relatively fair. I have noticed a difference when you go to areas of the store. And it seems that specialists, now that around do not know a lot about some of the products or how to use them or install them. Just seems like there has been a big drop in that knowledge in the store going on for the past few years. I'm not saying the store is not a good place to shop. And I'm not saying that the employees do not offer great customer service, but to lack of knowledge Or experience has shown compared to what it used to be.”

I bought 2 bottles and a regulator, they had them in stock for a very reasonable price. Also they are open on the weekends. I will definitely be back. It’s worth the 30 minute drive.”

They assembled for me and helped with loading it, since I’m recovering from a recent surgery. The staff were super courteous, even when they found it necessary to remove the cover in order to fit it in my van.
