Silver Lake Licensing is a great place to get your title updated. I brought my elderly parents in and the wonderful staff was so patient and walked us through the process quickly and without all the waiting and confusion that I have experienced at lesser businesses. Wow! Pleasantly surprised. There was a small goth looking girl I didn't catch her name but my god she could multitask like a magician. I was in and out super fast after both getting new plates for my car on the fly and renewing my tabs all at once, I was in there for maybe 5 minutes. Im never going anywhere else ever again. Very nice experience.

They could not be bothered to post anywhere they are closed today for "junteenth" a bunch of others came up to the door also irritated.Not posted on their website, google, or answering machine. Just a note on the front door, do people even care about their jobs and the service they give here. Its so easy to post it somewhere convenient for your customers to not waist their time.

Wish I could give this place 0/5. The people who work there are the worse type of customer service people I have ever met. They always look like they are the most miserable people working there. I just pointed out to the girl who is wearing a hat that my wife's license is right there on the counter incase she didn't see it and she took it so offensively and then looked directly at me and shook her head is disbelief.People just don't know their place or when to work for a company that will make them happy instead of being miserable.

In short:What's not to like? If you need tabs--which we all need--they take care of you quickly. In long: I realized at the very last possible minute that my truck was due for new tabs. Usually WA-DOL blows up your inbox for weeks and there's no way on Earth you'll not know you need them, but I was loading something in yesterday, and for some reason looked right at the license plate with a shred of conscious thought lingering in my brain. "Oh...wait. That number is THIS month."So I bought tabs online, which is fairly painless. Their website nudges you toward having the tabs mailed, presumably because that's what most of us usually do. Or, they let you choose where to pick up, based on proximity to wherever you're sitting when you buy. The state doesn't always have the smoothest web experiences but they're covering all the bases well enough here.Score another thing that never happens for this trip--my phone rang and I answered it as I was pulling in. They have a whole whack of 15-minute parking spots out front; even though they're in a very busy strip mall with bustling businesses in every suite around them, they mapped this out. Smart!And if I hadn't sat there like an idiot yapping on the phone, I would've strolled right in. But 5 different times, people walked in singly or in pairs, and I could see the line was now all the way back to the door. I kinda scolded myself for letting the line build up, all while shining my headlights in at the employees (sorry about that!).But I walk in and they've already processed everybody, just in the time it took me to switch off the truck, get my stuff, and step out. That's the best part of this whole thing, the line just flies. I came in not knowing whether to expect a DMV-type processing delay, and there was none of that.It kinds feels like a mini-DMV--high counters surrounding the lobby, some age-old chairs against the walls. But they have tons of race car and muscle car photos framed on the wall, and it doesn't feel like a government office...much less drag its feet like one. The clerk was super friendly and clearly knew her stuff. She had everything together in a minute or two. It has probably taken me longer to write this review than it took me to get my tabs. Tabs are, admittedly, the most-straightforward and most-common task they have to do here. I don't personally know about all the RVs, bigger rigs, and other stuff they have to process. But I like knowing that if I drag my feet too long on tabs and have to get them *today*, it's doable.

Good service, convenient parking. Could be lines during rush hour (4pm+) but these guys work fast so you'll be helped in 10-15 min - not a long wait.First time selling car I came here with the buyer and whole transaction took probably 10 min if not less. Young lady helping us was great, answered all my questions guided us through the process.Please be aware that if you want to minimize payment processing fees - check or bank account number would be the best, debit card is second best, credit card is the worst.

If you need any assistance with the State of Washington DMV, I highly recommend Silver Lake Licensing. I have been going around in circles with the WA DMV and CA DMV for weeks. One call to Silver Lake Licensing and Sam was able to get my issue resolved within minutes. She was professional, helpful, and nice as can be. 11/10 Recommend!Thanks Sam!

Kristen sucks. Bought a vehicle from an old man and he has writing issues. And she proceed to tell me to go back and re do it. Then she tells me I have to pay market value. I do not recommend the people at the dmv. Only reason it’s 3 is because Sam is nice and helped me on the phone

We were serviced Saturday 04/08 by a Karen that absolutely refused to answer any of our questions. Everyone else is always kind except for this "Karen". I'll need to get her name. Just awful experience overall.
