Told me what was wrong with my dog to get surgery. They treated my dog like family. Thanks, Dr. Brown!

I have been taking my dogs to Petcare for a few years now. I love Dr. Brown and Dr. Howl. They are kind and friendly.I am not giving 5 stars bc there is a female answering the phones (such as earlier today) who is not friendly. She has helped me a few times and always seems annoyed and is quite abrupt in how she responds or "helps".Not everyone answering the calls is like this, but this particular person seems to be always irritated answering questions. This is concerning especially when she doesn't know maybe the state of mind of someone calling in about their pet. I dont sense compassion or kindness from her, which is expected at a vet's office. Hope this changes ASAP bc next time I will ask her name and discuss it with the vets

Did I walk into a Vet Hospital or a Bail Bondsman's office? Oh well they should offer a second mortgage payment plan for their prices!

Was severely upcharged for a prescription that the vet wasn't even sure would work for my cat (more than double), and was charged 95 dollars for a ten minute visit. Ridiculous.

This place has wonderful staff. I called with questions about scheduling an appointment for a kitty who needed to see a doctor. They went beyond expectations to assist, and the doctor was wonderful! We have 4 kitties total in our family, and as much as we love the current vet, we will probably move their care here for convenience. Dobby made a new friend.

Not happy with this place. Have taken my dog here several times. At one point they did a mastectomy on my dog which involved me taking her back to the clinic every day for a very long time. I didn't agree with the surgery but I was told it was best. Now it's been nothing but complications since. difficulty walking, Suffered what can only be assumed and described as strokes. Unable to stand and keep her balance, can't scratch her own ear because she's not able to move her legs like that anymore from the surgery. Called today to get flea meds. And I was told that she's not kept up on her vaccines and they never did a wellness exam, her vaccines are over 6 years expired. So for the several years I've taken my dog here. Talked with the staff in great detail. Never once did they mention vaccines being out of date. But now that I want something they want to tack on an office visit. Last visit was less than 6 months ago. Seems like very shady business practices. I feel they are not looking out for the wellness of our animals but the fatness of their wallets. Sure they talk sweet to you. But this really hurt. she's been my therapy dog for over 10 years after finding her as a rescue where she was abused and neglected and now we're reaching senior status it really hurts to know that the best care I've been trying to provide my dog has been sub par. This is unacceptable.***I'd like to add that the reply to the comment is also disrespectful. Respond by posting my personal information and trying to twist the story. Think about how you would feel as a customer if this was the response you got for what you felt was a very genuine concern. I've had a lot of sour interactions with the front desk. They flip on a switch very quickly. But the vets and care takers that I've interacted with always seemed genuine. I'm not saying these guys don't care about what they do. But specifically this situation shows my point. I feel I have every right to be upset.I have had many visits with these guys in the past many times. The last two the vet and I both discussed flea treatment during recovery and the problems she was having and okayed the use of flea treatment at that time less than 6months ago why is it suddenly different now? Why if vaccines is the concern why was this not addressed then? And you yourself love to point out she's immune compromised on blast so why give her a bunch of vaccines then throw flea meds on top of it? Yeah I'm upset. Thanks for your response.

Been taking all of our dogs here for years and have had no complaints. Always friendly and it never feels like we are being rushed with the doctors which we appreciate a lot. Glad they are also taking care credit too now.

Dr Godwin and assistant were wonderful and very compassionate when we had to put our very loved dog to sleep. We highly recommend them. They have our deepest gratitude.

Very friendly and so gentle with my dog. The vet and techs all had great communication skills and helped me understand some things I hadn't learned about dogs before.

Dr Frazier was the best. We took our papillon to him for 19 years. Never had any issues. Years later I returned to this vet with my new papillon. Vet is now under new management, which is absolutely terrible. Please reconsider taking your pet here.

We have never before experienced the excellence of care we have consistently received at this center. The love and care shown has truly touched us every time over the last decade-plus of bringing our precious ones for diagnosis and treatment. The care was epitomized when we finally had to release our beloved Winston (feline hero) from this life. Everyone shed tears as he transitioned from this life. We’re forever grateful for the doctor and staff who grew to love and care for him.

Have been moving from vet to vet until two years ago. They have been extremely kind and helpful with us. Text us if we have a concern, get us in without having to wait weeks. Also call for updates as one of my rescues River has had to have some wellness surgeries. It is his favorite place to go.

The doctors and staff are the best! Very professional, thorough, and caring. My senior dog is well cared for and is thriving under their care. Thank you for always taking extra care of her.

TLDR; They injured my elderly cat due to improper handling they admitted to, followed by terrible customer service. Echoing what others have said, even in the 3 years I've been coming here it's gone downhill fast, and hardly ever see the same staff.I brought my 7lb 15 y/o disabled cat in for routine blood work and annual check up. The next day she wasn't bearing weight on one of her front legs, it was swollen, hurt to be touched, and she was very low energy. I brought her back in and it was determined the staff restrained her roughly and improperly, resulting in injury. The vet tried to hand wave this like "oh it happens when they sometimes struggle"... like no it doesn't, and yes cats will ALWAYS struggle from a blood draw and urine sample that's why there's a restraint called a kitty burrito. My mom, sister, and several friends are/were vet techs and I have also assisted and restrained many animals in my life during foster care and helping at the vet's office, and there's no excuse for how she was restrained (the vet demonstrated it to me) and no excuse for hurting an animal in their care.I told the vet I am not paying for anything related to this visit or future care due to their abuse, she agreed I wouldn't owe anything. After leaving with anti-inflammatories and pain killers for my cat, I get a message that I owe them money for the meds. I call back and try to explain the situation to the front desk staff, and they refused to even talk with the vet to find out all charges should be waived, completely rude, dismissive, and refused to help. I eventually talked to someone else who got the manager to waive charges, but was shocked that right after this clinic admitted to harming my animal, they turned around and rudely tried to shove me off. It's been 4 days and my cat is still low energy and not bearing full weight on the leg. It's funny, I've taken my other cat here as well and they NEVER do shots or any routine services in the exam room, and always mention that my cats are "spicy" or difficult. Whereas when I've brought both my cats to the emergency vet or other offices, they've said my cats are easy and sweet, even for dental care! That was my first red flag I should have listened to.Bottom line; there are SO many other options in the area, don't risk your animals wellbeing especially if they are sensitive/elderly. Will not be coming back here at all.
