Love this hot yoga studio. It seems that the best and worst reviews seem to be centered around the increased levels of heating at this particular studio. As someone who practices hot yoga for the heated aspect, I appreciate the investment they’ve made into their heating system. Because of the level of infrared heat, I can feel that the benefits of my practice here are noticeably enhanced compared to that of my practice at other studios.

I have been coming to HYI for well over a decade-during that decade I have had three beautiful babies, gone thru many life changes including athletic injuries, health issues, and just standard aging. Hot Yoga Inc. has been such a bright spot in both my and my husband’s lives. Yoga for health, peace of mind, vitality, and longevity. The instructors are all phenomenal, the studio is beautiful and clean and the community is friendly and welcoming. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Love you, HYI!!!

Challenging and HOT! All the instructors are great. They are always cleaning after each class. I would like to give a special thanks to Deejay and all the extra cleaning she does daily.

One word: DANGEROUS.Do not practice here. Of the 4 classes I've attended, I've been able to complete 2. Even when practicing hot yoga you should be able to do your postures and complete your practice without feeling like you're body is panicking from the heat. Don't let these instructors make you feel or believe like you are neither fit nor hydrated enough for these classes. Don't let instructors tell you to not leave the studio when you are feeling dizziness, nausea, and very near vomiting. These are symptoms of heat exhaustion and incredibly dangerous. Don't let anyone convince you that hot yoga studios generally have floors that feel like they are burning your flesh off. This is not normal.I would like to clarify with the utmost seriousness that I am not a novice; however, the instructor treated me as if I left the class because I have little experience with yoga. I have been practicing on and off since age 15, vinyasa, hatha, kundalini, and bikram, as well as traditional forms less popularized in Western culture. I am also former yoga and fitness instructor and a retired military service member who has worked out and taught overseas is some of the hottest parts of the planet where the air outside is actually 120 degrees Fahrenheit. After giving this place a few attempts, it became clear to me that this place capitalizes on ignorance, inexperience, disordered perspectives of fitness. It is astounding to me how many of their patrons believe that this is what yoga is supposed to be like. Yoga is not supposed to be torture nor is it supposed to bring practictioners to the brink of heat stroke.Additionally, I was seriously concerned about hygiene and cleanliness in this studio. The floors gave off a weird smell akin to sweat mixed with urine.Really least of all my concerns was for the general attitude and airs of some of the instructors. There were some genuinely nice and caring instructors here, but the rest give off a very superior and unwelcoming attitude. And if you're expecting any level of customer service, look no further than the door. There is zero care for people who aren't throwing their money at them. The rest is fake niceties to keep fools coming back for more torture.I regret spending any of my time and money on this studio. Please don't make the same mistake I made. What this studio will do for you: prepare you for a trip to India during the summer.

Easily the best yoga studio I've ever been to. Once you adjust to the heat it's tough to go to another studio to get the same feeling afterwards. Can't recommend enough!

Very bad experience. They encourage you to ignore your body and what it needs. My friend had taken her medications before the session, like normal. But they had the room so hot that she started to feel nauseous. They keep the room at over 115 degrees, which is DANGEROUS. Any physical activity over 110 degrees is a risk for heat stroke. They have gotten multiple reviews and critiques on this over the years in past reviews but have not changed it.My friend told the teacher that she had to leave because she was feeling really sick (at least twice) and the instructor repeatedly told her it would pass and she needed to breath through it.Then the instructor told me to turn around because I was distracting her. Like what?? We were not talking, she only whispered to me once to tell me she was starting to get really nauseous. This is NOT what yoga is about. Yoga is about creating a safe space for your body and mind, where you feel comfortable. And your instructor should be helping you on that journey. Our instructor was telling my friend to ignore what her body needed and tried keeping us captive in a room that was dangerously hot. It burned my feet anytime I walked on the floor. The instructors name was Deejay, she was very loud, talked really fast, and was critical. I think she was better suited to be a drill instructor than yoga instructor. We took the Hatha class.DO NOT GO. ITS NOT WORTH IT, EVEN FOR A $10 TRY OUT.

I absolutely love this studio. They offer a variety of classes. My favorite instructor is Hajera. She is truly amazing and you can feel the energy in the room with her lead. The studio is hotter than most, I find the benefits of this to be wonderful. Not only is it manageable for anyone but you truly feel amazing afterwords. The community that comes to hot yoga is very welcoming as well.

Yes it is hot. Yes it can be challenging. Yes, those of us who love this are slightly insane. But working through the insanity in the hot room makes for a much more calm and balanced life in the rest of the world. Learning to be okay with being uncomfortable, finding out how to let go of your ego and just accept what is in the moment isn't easy, but if you are willing to work toward this you'll have more joy in your day and sleep better at night. The instructors here are all fabulous and the students create a caring and accepting community for any and all who take their place on a mat. I've tried many of the hot yoga studios in the Seattle area and am thankful to have found Hot Yoga, Inc.

I have been attending this studio for a few years now..and yes it's hot and very challenging. If you are looking to take your fitness and mental toughness to the next level look no further than Hot Yoga Inc. Mill creek. The complaints are usually heat related Im seeing. I hope they keep the temperature as it always has been..it offers the public a unique challenge. If the heat is too much maybe consider a easier class. This staff and facility are the best!! Thank you HYMC!)

Once you learn about infrared heat and the benefits you understand why it’s more intense. It’s a deep penetrating heat and you won’t want to practice anywhere else.I don’t agree with some of the reviews on here, I watch some people struggle but there’s a loyal following of yogis here. I love the strong energy, my advice is pick a spot not directly under the heat and stay close to the door. The more frequent you go the easier it gets! Once I started practicing at least3x a week I actually got better. Morning classes are my favorite, I personally can’t eat before class and was trying to drink too much water right before which resulted in feeling sick.
