“We are new to the neighbourhood and we just got a new dog and this place is walking distance so it really is convenient for us in the Highland Park area. We love the service and the selection on offer. We bought multiple items from the store, including: -- food for our dog [ they have a loyalty programs so you get the 10th bag of food free]. Also they have a wide selection of chew toys/dried raw hide items, & other accessories, including raincoats / outerwear / leashes / harnesses etc -- We bought the dog's beds there !The owner is super nice, super friendly, ... our dog really responds very well to him, to the store ... we love our visits/ experience there, each time.”

“My go-to pet store in Seattle. The selection for cats is spot on! My kittens love natural pet pantry for raw and ziwi for canned, both of which are hard to find. They give you sample treats with each purchase, which is always a plus. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly! Return policy is flexible. You don't need to bring a receipt as long as you have a number registered with them. Doesn't cost any money to register either. They have their own parking lot with lots of available space.”

“Friendly service and nice vibe but for sure, pricier than most places I go. As a snake and gecko breeder, I'm usually spending $110 a week at my usual place. The same items were almost $200 here. But I had no choice, so I made the exception. Thry hsve amazing fish though and this is my biggest reason for being there. Overall if you need something in a pinch it's a good place to go but there's other places for better savings.”

Taylor was one of the first people to educate me on her needs and spent so much 1on1 time with me fitting her harness, we’ve bought 4 ruffwear harnesses because of him now!! Lynn is also nothing short of wonderful, she remembers my pups name always, and recognizes me by voice. She’s outstanding, offers so much wisdoms without judgement. The store is lucky to have her! I will keep coming back solely for these two. Little expensive but they always have ranges! they have the best return policies and everything there is quality stuff<3 can’t say more amazing things about Lynn + Taylor plus the whole store! ???”

“My 8 year old dog, at the time, was experiencing vomiting after almost every meal. I struggled to keep weight on her, she was lethargic and I couldn't control the vomiting. She had been on kibble her whole life and after several different trial and errors, I was recommended Natural Pet Pantry. We started with the lightly cooked stew and slowly graduated to the raw food. Since switching (about 2 and a half years ago) my dog has only thrown up once or twice, compared to the almost daily bouts before. Her weight is amazing and she has so much more energy! We now regularly purchase the beef, duck or chicken raw food as well as the raw goats milk. I've personally spoke with the owner Jeff on several occasions and the passion he has for making quality food options for our pets is so evident. You can truly tell he cares about the food, the process, his team, his customers and most importantly our pets. Do your pet a favor and make the switch. You won't regret it. “We love Mud Bay and so does our 115 lb. dog, Cassie! Everyone is super friendly and gives Cassie lots of attention and love when she comes into the store. This week ANNA went above and beyond - Cassie's car harness was not fitting correctly and we were afraid of what would happen if we were in an accident. Anna helped us fit it correctly onto Cassie's chest, then cinched up the straps so it was very solid and protective - SO much different from how we had been putting it on Cassie. Finally, we feel Cassie is safe. Everyone in the store is special but ANNA is a ROCK STAR!! Cecelia”

“Our sweet elderly dog started having digestive issues, so our vet recommended Just Food for Dogs. I've always fed her kibble and a little canned food, so transitioning to fresh food was completely new to me.Lauren and her team have been a delight to work with every step of the way. We’ve been going in on and off to practice just being in public spaces, around people etc. And because she’s nervous and easily startled, I always have to ask the staff to leave us alone. And they always do - and always so kindly.Today, we were there again and there was a couple who came in with their dog. Because they were standing between us and the exit, we couldn’t leave (my dog is also dog reactive). When one of the staff realized what was happening, she immediately took a treat and led the other dog and it’s owners to another section of the store, clearing the way so that we could leave safely. I didn’t have a chance to say it, but I was very touched and very grateful that she was so thoughtful and kindly respected our needs even though we’re not in the “regular, friendly, easy dog” category.Having a sensitive, reactive dog that struggles in so many situations that others take for granted can be difficult - especially when we’re in public. And it means a lot to us that there are people like the Eastside team whose little, everyday acts of kindness make us feel seen and supported. “Truly the best saltwater fish and coral store in Seattle. Always clean, always helpful, always well stocked. While the other popular saltwater fish stores in Seattle do not actually quarantine their fish, Saltwater City does. Hands down the sign of a really quality fish store. The store is also always clean. Another really brilliant sign. Their recommendations are always super spot on, brilliant, kind, and humble, like a really good friend who also happens to know so much about reef tanks. They never act rushed or make you feel like they are in a rush, even when the store is busy and they are helping multiple customers at a time. And when they don't have the answer to your questions they have a store culture of quickly and kindly letting you know that they don't know very much about that question, but also humbly letting you know where might know more about that topic. Lot's of saltwater reef stores I walk into have a culture that feels a little like a superiority contest or d**k measuring contest. Not this store. They truly treat you like an equal and a teammate even if you are a beginner. Saltwater City and their staff are definitely some of the best, kindest, and most helpful teammates you could have in this hobby in Seattle. Sierra and Tyler are always incredibly helpful and always go above and beyond. The PNW is lucky to have this store.”
