Good produce, good meat, lots of fun cheeses and meats and items in the to go section, but insanely expensive. Tonight's sale was ribeye, normally $37 a pound marked down by $10. When Met Market had a sale, they're only slightly more expensive than Whole Foods. ?

Great staff, the only thing I can think of is I been to many met markets, they usually have a better hot bar section than here. Sometimes it feels like the hot bar here is super dry and there is no juice from the food left

First and foremost The Cookie is delicious! The older white woman in the bakery was very rude to my daughter and I. We were standing in line and she took another customer behind us first. She spoke in a condescending tone, and was impatient. I will eat the cookie again and again, just not from that store.

Really nice staff and not too crowded of a store to shop at. Similar to PCC or Whole Foods. They have a hot bar, salad bar, and bakery.

I’m giving two stars because the bread is always fresh and they stock a kind of popcorn I like that I can’t get anywhere else. Oh, and the Latino man who sometimes works the self-checkout in the afternoon is always friendly. But the reason I am giving a low rating is for the lack of consistency. Here are some examples:- The hot food bar/steam table is a minefield. Many times I have found unwanted and undisclosed ingredients in dishes. If you have food allergies, stay away, as you cannot trust the ingredient labels.- The cold prepared foods section is sometimes stocked to the gills and other times barren. There doesn’t seem to be any in-between, and this can happen at any hour of the day.- Prices on some prepared foods are stupid high. $7.50 for five pot stickers? LOL- Bakery prices are also insane. $3-4 for ONE doughnut.- I used to buy single bottles of Topo Chico. I have been shopping here for five months and the price has gone up four times, to where it’s now 40% higher… in five months! Ouch!- They used to have a store brand Italian sparkling water that I loved. They had a glut of it at one point in June, but it’s been sold out for weeks. Yes, they sell Pellegrino, which is as good, but also nearly double the price. No idea when/if the store brand is coming back.- I usually buy Darigold shredded white cheddar here, as it’s the only store I know of that carries it. Last time I bought it I had to throw half of it away because it was within 10 days of its pull date, which I didn’t realize until l got it home.- The selection of OTC meds is abysmal. Had to make a special trip to Walgreens as they didn’t have something I needed. Was pretty basic. Yet they have shelf after shelf of supplements nobody buys.I do one special grocery shop here a week for things I can’t find anywhere else. But I do the bulk of my shopping at QFC—not by choice, but because Met Market can’t meet my needs.

On 8/2/23, I went in to grab some items and also stop by the deli for sandwich meat. A young gentlemen who seemed to be new in the role took my order.I made numerous orders, and asked him to please not include the outer slice as it was dried and inedible. At $35 per lb, it's not an unreasonable request. Not only did the guy take 20 minutes to slice up some deli meat, he included the dried outer slices on all my items. It's either lack of attention to detail or simply not caring. For someone who's new to the role, and for Metropolitan Market, it's not a good look.

Too expensive compared to QFC and Amazon, with lower variety except for the live food counter. We recently bought a gift wrapping paper for $6 which barely covered a single gift box!! Amazon sells for much cheaper. The buffet selection is good however.

Stopped in looking for a vegan dinner, had a hard time finding anything, no hot food available. They used to do bowls but they closed all but one hour bar, possibly due to pack of employees? Salad bar had chick pea salad and horrible falafel. No labels saying vegan or vegetarian.
