Specifically reviewing the floral department here… my fiancée worked on Mercer Island and I in the U District. We met every Monday for lunch and after we’d finished, we’d walk to this Met Market and I’d buy her a bunch of flowers and have them arranged into a bouquet for her office. I have been to florists and flower markets all over the city and can confidently say that this Met Market is by far the best floral department of any grocery store in the Seattle Metro Area. It only made sense, then, that when we got married a week and a half ago that I would buy the flowers here. The selections 8:30am on a Friday was as fresh and vibrant as any other time I’ve been in and this market will forever be in our memories. Kudos to the Mercer Island Met Market floral team for doing absolutely outstanding work. (The arrangements are all by them with the flowers I chose, except the one that Erin is holding in the pink dress, which is the arrangement I did for our wedding.)

Overall great place to shop. Lately I have been enjoying the lobster rolls. However, today my roll was made with canned lobster. Almost no large pieces and looking more like cat food. The taste was good and there appeared to be lots of meat, albeit mostly small finely broken pieces.

I would always come here after work to pick up some drinks from the beverage section always been eye catching and organized, but lately there has been a BIG lack of options in the beverage section?? ALWAYS empty and never fetching or sorted out anymore.. it’s like no one takes care of it!!! So so neglected, the new person who works in this section should get fired. No work or time put in this isle and it shows??and if I could rate 0 stars on this I would?!

Yet another store that took away the ability to pay cash at the self checkout. I will no longer give them any business.

I found a hair in my cookie, which was very disgusting. I was so excited to try it too. It’s the first time I’ve been there and I don’t plan to come back after that experience. A refund would be nice if possible.

I’ve never written a review for a grocery store before, but this is really about the flower department.
Last Christmas my husband and I eloped. I had always wanted a white peony bouquet but flower shops were closed on Christmas Eve and I didn’t think anyone would have white peonies in stock out of season.
The week before Christmas I walked into met market and saw three buckets of white peonies and told the flower mongers about how I wanted to buy a few bouquets for our elopement. They set all of them aside and on Christmas Day I came in to pick them up.
When I came in on Christmas Eve and picked out all of my favorite stems. I didn’t expect Yoko, the florist, to have made the most perfect bouquet of almost unfurling peonies for me. Complete with a white ribbon wrapping the full stem, secured with a safety pin. I was completely blown away and couldn’t believe my dream bouquet was possible, let alone created at my local grocery store.
I was so grateful to yoko as I watched each peony fully bloom through the week. Whenever I see her working, I make sure to say hi and ask her to put together a bouquet for me, she’s the best.

This rating is for the hot food. Not the best for vegetarians.

Good quality meat and produce. Too Expensive. Some items are almost double in price compared to the Qfc. Distance wise, you can probably throw a rock over to the Qfc's property from the Met Market.

I love met market - great staff, good selection, enjoyable shopping experience - but things have just gotten too expensive for me to keep shopping here. Can’t get a pack of pasta for less than $5 without a sale and my go to strawberry jam was almost $8 for a jar. The meats/seafood have gotten even more expensive - much more so than other stores (Whole Foods, Safeway). I’ll come back when prices come down!

Was in store 2/16 noon, ordered a breakfast sandwich and mentioned I don't eat bacon but my daughter does. Your deli person took out bacon, warmed up my sandwich (delicious) and put bacon in separate bag (n.c.) for me to bring home. I used to work part time as a service rep. in grocery stores for 10+ years and appreciate the service and selection you offer in your stores.
