They won’t let you know the wait list length unless you pay first pay them $150 to register. Total scam.

We have enjoyed seeing the progress our child has made from Twos to now preschool. Class size is small, so kiddos get a lot of personal attention. Currently, we like the art focus in Ms. Tammy’s room. All the teachers have been great and teachers and helpers not in class still make an effort to get to know kids in other rooms. Mercer has great community.

Really great staff and caring teachers at this branch. We transferred our daughter from the BH's Sunset location due to this one being closer to our house and we saw a huge difference in how they treat our daughter. Couldn't be happier with our experience so far!

Our daughter has the time of her life at MIBH! She starts smiling as soon as we are walking up to the building. I was very nervous to take her to daycare at 6 months but the staff made me feel at ease. I feel so fortunate that I know my daughter is getting the best care she can.

Bright Horizons has been a wonderful experience. Not just for my daughter but for me as well. I was uneasy dropping her off on her first day but within an hour of leaving the center I received multiple pictures, videos and updates about how she was doing, her nap schedule, meal times, etc...And the best part, she was having the time of her life. I will never forget her first instructors Ms Christine and Ms Jackie. They had they own special bond with my daughter and even though Charlie has graduated from their class her face still lights up when she sees them around. The center is flexible with specialized meal programs, nap schedules and bottle feedings which was a huge relief. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a safe, fun and special place for their little one.

My husband and I were really impressed by Ms. Christine and Ms. Rachel’s work in Twos 1 Class. They really exceeded our expectation! Kids are so lucky to have them. Really appreciate that they are always not just doing the job but doing their best!!! They showed their passion for the work and their love to all of the kids. We are really moved. We cannot ask for better teachers! I know Ms. Christine even worked on weekends to prepare for the fun activities for kids. She’s really devoted to the job and taking initiative to create a great curriculum for kids. Amazing teacher!

We have both kids enrolled at BHMI and are so happy. They have been phenomenal during covid and we’ve zero concerns about the safety of our kids and broader family. It’s been great peace of mind. Our older toddler absolutely adores her teachers and talks about them all the time. The teachers and staff love our kids. It’s been a great experience overall and are grateful to have it available to us so close to home.

Due to limited space at another local daycare, we had one of our children elsewhere, and one of our children here. It's not often that families have the opportunity to directly compare childcare centers simultaneously but we have decided to put both of our kids in care at Bright Horizons Mercer Island because of the following:1) They are diligently screening for COVID-19 every day at drop off and have very detailed protocols regarding exclusion criteria and safety measures taken to minimize spread of COVID-192) The intake staff wears full PPE to prevent the classroom runner from spreading or contracting COVID-19 to the best of their ability3) The employees are always masked when I've seen them4) Our child is legitimately happy to arrive in the morning and to leave at the end of the day5) The staff is always cheerful when they greet the families, and obviously love the kiddos6) I can tell the families are happy because they hang out and chat in the parking lot amongst themselves after pickup. The facility seems to be building a community.7) They have an app that allows for communication from teachers to parents, including pictures as well

Horrible administration staff. We had a virtual tour with a staff. She just cancel the meeting "10 minutes" before our scheduled1st appointment just by sending an email to us. (At that time, we understood a possible emergency situation!!)For the next scheduled 2nd meeting(30 minutes virtual meeting), she came 2 minutes late(It was okay by then) and just explained things for 1.5 minutes. Then, she excused me, and she said to be back soon.(Not Really) she left the virtual place for 10-11 minutes and came back late.I said that she needs to consider our appointment with a more timely manner. I commented her last week cancellation(She does not remember, but we have an email sent by her) and today's working manner.Even though she did, I said please to keep virtual tour by the end. After hearing my comment for 2 minutes, she said she cannot corporate with me. She ended her zoom meeting at 11:16am. I called to her and requested to finish her presentation by the end, but she refused it.We had GREAT experience with Bright Horizons in California, but I got shocked with the way this staff is working here! I said we have never met a staff working with us like this way in California. and She said this is Washington style. Is it TRUE??? So disappointed.

We have enrolled our 2 year old for more than 1 yr now and we love his teacher MissCone (ZBEST) but couple of things i am not happy about is1) toddler class nor infant class socket outlets are not secure, a week ago i saw one kid playing with a stick against the socket outlet and told the teacher. Even i let the administrator know they need to secure the outlets because i was pretty much surprised that's it's now.2) Price keep increasing every year.3) Expect your kid to have a dry noisy all day , i am not sure why but this happen every time my son got cold i find his morning sneeze dried on his face when i pick him up. LITERALLY.other than this school seem pretty cool, kid loves his teacher so it makes my life easy.

My daughter has been at Bright Horizons Mercer Island from the age of 12 months to 3 years and it has been a phenomenal experience. Staff really care about what they do. It is an incredibly professional and organized place. The facilities are beautiful and new with a great indoor gym space to get the kids running around even when the weather is miserable. From an educational standpoint my daughter has made leaps and bounds. They have a curriculum for all ages and make everything educational. She quickly learned to be more independent and seemed happier after adjusting to daycare than she was at home with nanny and grandparents full time! I feel safe with her there and have never had any issues with any of the teachers- they are all wonderful. My daughter looks forward to attending daycare and sometimes doesn’t want to go home when I pick her up. You will not regret choosing bright horizons Mercer Island.

Bright horizons Mercer Island is a wonderful very caring, and knowledge place that we felt so comfortable leaving our daughter in. Our daughter started going there when she was 13 months and now she is 17. She learned a lot. They understand that every child learn in a different way and they try to accommodate that. The activities they do are great for development. Everyday they share with us what they are doing and why.Everyone is super nice in the facility ; we love the staff who work in the administration and who work with our child. We will definitely continue with them and encourage people to put their childish in it.

My son transitioned to Bright Horizons when he was 12-months old. Our old place was ok, but I constantly questioned if daycare was the right decision for our family. After we came here, we haven't had a second thought that this is the best place he can be. Every single person at the Mercer Island location is exceptional (his teachers, the directors, and the admin). It always takes a very long time for us to leave, because my 14-month son wants to say bye/give hugs/smiles to all the staff on his way out. It's clear that he's formed a great relationship with everyone there, and I think it's indicative of the great environment this daycare creates.

Excellent facility, curriculum, teachers & leadership. Bright Horizons Mercer Island leads the pack. Spacious outdoor playground and movement room, great teachers with opportunities for professional development, organic meals, lots of events to bring the community together, and leadership that is purposeful about keeping parents informed and having a say. Bonus - the center is just off I-90 and has easy parking. Danielle, Ruth, Chandler, Amy, Catherine, Janet, Megan, and more - all friendly faces and always willing to help and answer questions.
