“The Pioneer Collective is an amazing asset to downtown Tacoma! The workspace is beautiful, friendly, and professional. The Courthouse Square building is a perfect location for TPC with everything you need (coffee shop, sandwich shop, and a post office). After years of working from home, my membership here was an amazing decision!”

501 S I St, Tacoma“Took two dogs to the park who are new to Washington clear from San Antonio Texas whom I am caring for while their mom and dad get settled in Tacoma. I thought they have to experience the beauty if our historic Wright Park! Though it was cold we put our outdoor gear on and went on the famous fall Wright Park walk. Trees full if love and life with fall colors, great trails both earth trails and sidewalks. THe statue, the pond with geese, the beautiful botanical bridge where you could just set and be present and listen to the mini rock waterfall underneath bridge. I felt safe and today the park was clean and many dog owners and people getting out to enjoy the scenic fall walk. The dogs have officially been welcomed to Tacoma and loved Wright Park! ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? Thank you Tacoma, WA and park staff for having thus very memorable, appreciated place with the fur babies.”
“Fairly accessible, good seating arrangement, seats are a bit cramped but not the worst I've seen by far. Sound system is a little awkwardly positioned for the first rows but is other wise good. It's old but the architecture is beautiful and well taken care of plus it is acoustically pleasant. Drinks are expensive, but that's true in pretty much every theater. There's at least a few cocktails to choose from and some decent beer selection.”
“I had my 46th Bday here and it was the best time. The staff was amazing and treated our large party of 20 like straight VIP. Everyone was so professional and my entire party said they had the best time. We sang, danced, and jammed out to some talented musicians. I highly recommend going her for a date night, girls night, or any celebration you have coming up. Thank you to the Mondavi you and your staff made the entire night so memorable. We will be back!”

3723 S Lawrence St, Tacoma“If you're looking for a fun new way to celebrate an occasion for all ages, this place is a hidden gem! Highly recommend experiencing slotcar racing. Alan the owner was the most generous host with his time, place and guidance to a party of about 40 people who had never slot raced in their life. He graciously let us book a party of 15 kids plus parents and extra family members in the middle of his busy Christmas month. You get access to a large party room with a kitchen and comfy seatings. Free to roam the whole racing floor with so much to look at between the two racing tracks. Even if you're not into car racing, this place evokes nostalgia of being young and wanting to be grown up and experience something new. Really hard to describe how much fun everyone of all ages had. Our son was turning 5 and we didn't want to do the same family fun centers we had been going to with other kids parties all year. I stumbled upon this place and couldn't have been more happy with the event. My son will be talking about this for years, as well as the rest of the family and friends. The logistic things to note. You can bring any food you want to serve. The only ask is to take out all the trash at the end of the party and leave it as you found it. Bring big garbage bags for quick clean up. Ideally plan for 1 hour for racing and 1 hour for food and cake. We were a large group, we went over time due to the learning curve of how to race and picking cars. So I suggest another hour if cars aren't already chosen ahead of time. Alan hosted by himself and improvised our needs as we went and was relaxed on going over time since we pretty much had the venue to ourselves. No rushed feeling of other parties waiting. Front of building parking, full bathroom, full kitchen with fridge, microwave and stove, separate party room, huge open concept racing event space, guided how to race and racing experience. Scores are taken and winners announced! Such a great new experience. Aside from the really affordable venue cost, you have to purchase a car per racer if they don't have one already. So instead of a grab bag, we let each kid choose from the base model of colorful cars to race and take home! They can then now be able to come back and book lanes to race at this place anytime! Overall pretty comparable in costs with other fun centers with add ons. But the experience is so much cooler!”
“West of the Waterway was a great venue for our wedding reception. The inside is gorgeous and offers an intimate yet spacious area. The outdoor balcony is a perfect place for happy hour and an escape for those who have been partying hard. The view from the venue is amazing and the amenities they provide like chairs, their wood tables, the rounds, and guest chairs were all in great condition. Keisha the Venue manager is amazing to work with and her experience with the venue helped curate the perfect layout. She was extremely accommodating and wanted to help us make the day perfect, and honestly with an amazing venue like this one that was pretty easy.Unfortunately we did have some issues the day of the wedding. According to our coordinator a lot of the power outlets didn’t work, so we had to change our layout to accommodate that. We were never notified of this issue prior to the wedding day. Also, we had wedding crashers walk right into our wedding reception, behind the appointed site manager who was oblivious to the whole situation and never even made contact with the wedding crashers. I, the groom, and my dad had to ask them to leave the site and we were the ones to notify the site manager who was just sitting at a guest table on her phone when we found her. Luckily the random people who were allowed to walk in unnoticed didn’t steal our gifts or cards, but it would have been really easy for them to since they were never confronted by anyone but my dad and I. It didn’t bother me much the day of, and luckily they were just a few guys who wanted free booze, but that could have gone so much worse. Overall still a positive experience even with the few mishaps.”
“I went for a poetry reading and q&a. Wonderful experience. Such an oasis to just relax.Playground: I didn’t see a “proper” playground. There is water, waterfalls, mud, dirt, sticks, and fresh air; all the things kids need to play with. ?Restrooms: My understanding is that there is one unisex bathroom in the main house.”
“I can't express enough how fantastic Studio 6 and Natasha are. While I had some background in ballroom dance, Natasha has taken my skills to new heights beyond my expectations. The community she has created is wonderful! There's always a friendly and enthusiastic person to dance with. I highly recommend it!”

1701 Pacific Ave, Tacoma“Excellent exhibit with anything from paintings, prints, photography, textiles made into art, glass sculptures a true sensory delight. All the colors and shapes were amazing. Super nice and knowledgeable staff are available to answers all your questions. They have a cafe on the main floor, a gift shop and three levels in the building. Once on the top floor you get a nice view of the city and if lucky on a clear day the opportunity for very nice pictures of the structures surrounding the museum. You are within walking distance from the glass museum and other amenities in the area. Breweries, restaurants and nice scenery everywhere. I highly recommend this location.”
“There is no better event space in Tacoma! My family has continued to use this place for our milestone moments and celebrations. From 25 for a baby shower to 100 for a Friendsgiving their team is amazing, the spaces beautiful and location unbeatable.”
“Wright Park is a beautiful and spacious park in the downtown Tacoma area. I have always drove past, but I recently spent a few hours here and enjoyed it. The park itself was well maintained even the playground and restroom area on a Saturday afternoon. There is a paved walking trail and a lot of open grassy spaces to take pictures, have a picnic, etc. I am glad I visited during the fall time because everything was absolutely stunning. The botanical conservatory is located in the park also and free. I didn't expect the park to be this nice or well maintained because of the location so it was a pleasant surprise!”
“Always helping out in the community. If you ever need anything this is the place to go. They have the library you can use the computers and free printing and copying. Food bank and clothes closet.”
“Hands down, superior experience EVERY SINGLE TIME! I leave looking older, happier and a new six pack everytime! Laughter is the best medicine, they are definitely da doktas!”

2102 S C St, Tacoma“Second time staying here. They're currently remodeling (they were at our last stay as well), but it was quiet the whole time. The rooms are nice and very tidy. All of the members of staff have been really polite. The free breakfast might not be the most exciting, but they offer several options and it's tasty all the same. They offer a small on-site parking garage but it is extra to utilize it.The selling point for this hotel was that it was a walkable distance from the Tacoma Dome.Rooms: Very tidy, the newly renovated rooms are very nice!Nearby activities: Pacific Ave has several food options. There's a few breweries nearby, too.Incline Cider is literally across the streetThe Tacoma Dome is walking distance away!Walkability: Noted already, but loved that it was a reasonable walking distance from several food options and the Tacome Dome. No need to pay outrageous parking fees for concerts”

2501 E D St, Tacoma“Food court looks as good as it's ever been. The exterior and the entrances could use an update to accommodate disabled people, and to just look like the place is actually open, but other than that it is exactly what I remember from the last time I was in there nearly 5 years ago”
