Our home is located on a steep hill, and we are always amazed at what your driver must do each time he refills our propane tank. In order to reach the tank, the driver must back his big refueling truck up the narrow alley way behind our house, carefully squeezing between the garage overhang next door and the 15-foot steep hillside, then weave between all the outdoor furniture & other obstacles in our yard to reach our tank! He demonstrates amazing skill and patience each time he services our property, and we so appreciate his skill & expertise, not to mention patience! We sincerely thank you!

Your Customer Service is above all the absolute worst!!! If I wasn't forced to use your service...because I am a renter, I absolutely would take my business some place else!!! You lie, cheat and defraud customers!!

Only 4 stars, because we have a gate and pets I needed and requested at least a 24 hour arrival notice. Instead I got a 4 day window and they showed up when I wasn’t home.

Good luck trying to get any good or helpful customer service with this company. You get transferred to a call center in the Philippines and they're not helpful at all. I'd never become a long term customer with Amerigas. Too many other local customer service friendly options.

Do not do business with AmeriGas. If an incorrect charge ends up on your account, they will have NO ABILITY TO REMOVE THE CHARGE.If you think you'll be dealing with a local company, think again. The people you will talk to are in the Philippines and, while they seem nice, they are COMPLETELY POWERLESS to handle any kind of issue or resolve a problem, even if they agree that the problem exists and you are correct. They will promise to fix the problem, but they will never fix it, and you will be stuck in an endless loop of phone calls until you finally give up.They took TWO YEARS to remove a tank on our property and charged us rent on the tank the entire time. Now, even though the AmeriGas representatives I talk to agree that these are spurious charges and should be removed from our account, their billing department is uncooperative and has not taken action to remove these charges.On November 22, 2021, I called their Marysville office and asked for our propane tank to be removed. I was assured that while it wouldn't happen very quickly, I would NOT be charged for rent as of the date of the call, as our account was officially closed as of that date. I called back a few weeks later to check on the removal, was AGAIN assured that although they didn't have time to get out to remove the tank soon, I would NOT BE CHARGED for rent on the tank during this time.YEARS passed with no further contact from AmeriGas -- no statements, no bills, nothing. The pandemic hit and I assumed that they were busy, or avoiding contact, or both. Then, without any warning or outreach AT ALL, an AmeriGas man with a crane truck showed up on August 25, 2023 and removed our tank. He informed us that we would be receiving a refund for the unused propane left in our tank. We were glad to have the tank finally gone, and looked forward to the refund.To our great shock, instead of a refund, we received a BILL for those two years of rent that we were assured we would not owe. After all, it wasn't our fault that it took them two years to come and get their tank! We immediately called and tried to have these charges removed. The AmeriGas representatives were kind and immediately agreed that these charges should not have been placed on our account, and would be removed.However, it has been nearly a month, and although we have now called FOUR TIMES, these charges remain on our account. Each time I call, they quickly agree these rental charges are spurious and we should owe nothing, and in fact, they agree that we are owed a refund.And yet, our account TODAY still shows that we owe this rent.I am furious and exhausted with dealing with this problem. I do not know what else to do to get them to remove these charges and process our refund. What recourse remains? A lawsuit? I don't understand what I am supposed to do when AmeriGas' own representatives AGREE WITH ME, say they'll fix the problem, and then nothing happens?I guess I am reduced to leaving bad reviews.

My call to the main service number was answered quickly by an agent who was professional, easy to understand and very helpful. The technician who came to the house let us know he was on his way and took care of all the problems efficiently and quickly. He had good information for us and answered all our questions.

Setting up my account was delightful.Everything afterwards was not.An address was added to my account not associated with me. Gas was delivered to this address. Customers have no way to view or change their delivery address.Customer service and sales stated they would fix the problem of my Delivery Address, and also being charged for a delivery to the wrong address.At the end, I could not get confirmation that the delivery address was ever changed. The addresses provided for my account by the representative of Amerigas were not even in the same state. These addresses were completely different from any other addresses mentioned.Being completely empty of gas and having no confidence in the ability of Amerigas to provide gas to my address, or correct mistakes they have made, I asked to close my account. This was easy to do over a chat interface on the website.I do not have confidence that they closed my account - based on the addresses being provided it could have been someone else in a different state. I'm expecting the need to file a fraud report with the FTC when Amerigas continues to charge me for services they never provided.

He was very helpful. Fast and efficient service. No fuss no muss. They make the schedule to come and check the meters to fill for us. He even helped us understand our propane and how it works. NEW HOME OWNERS. Need I say more. You know the Do's and Don'ts. Price is comparable. 2 THUMBS UP!!

This is absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with. I used them after buying a house because the previous owner used them. After I realized they were charging us over twice the market rate (we were charged $4.08/gal for propane when my neighbors were paying $1.85) I decided to switch companies.I cancelled in November, shortly after being charged the yearly tank rental fee. I was told they would pick up the tank, and give me a credit for the prepaid tank rental time that was unused, and get credit for propane left in the tank. I was told they would pick up the tank in December.In December, I called them and they said they would pick it up in January. In January, I called and they said they their contract allows them up to 90 days to collect the tank. In February I called and now they won't commit to anything. The lady told me I wouldn't be refunded any of my tank rental charge because, in her words... "You already paid it, so, we can't refund it." Solid logic. She then pointed out that I paid the tank rental fee the year before, as further proof that it shouldn't be refunded. After putting me on hold for a long time, she came back and said she could refund me if I reopened my account.I asked for confirmation that my account was closed, and I was told they can't do that. But my account was still "in the process of closing". She couldn't tell me when it would actually be closed, just after everything was "finalized". I asked what they were waiting for, and I was put on hold indefinitely.It's now been over three months, and judging by other reviews saying tanks don't get picked up, I guess I will haul it off my property and forget about it.I would rate them negative five stars if possible.
