I have been a customer of the Marysville branch of NFCU about 5 years, best bank I've ever used.Anyone with a relative (dead or living), or even room mate who is or has been in the armed forces, can join. I began coming here due their high CD rates, better even than most of the online banks, and they have many local branches where you can visit your money. This had been the closest branch to me accessible to civilians, a couple months ago they opened a new one near Alderwood Mall. I go there for simple stuff, but still consider Marysville my branch. So I went up to change some CD's to higher new rates. I was expecting to pay the penalty for breaking our deal, and was told the fees would be waived! I couldn't believe it. Always so friendly, and extra spiffy being in the Naval Support Complex, which despite the name, is accessible to civilians.

The refi process was really slow and uncommunicative. We ended up going with a different company that was much faster.

Outstanding customer service. We are so fortunate to have an NFCU credit union location within 15 minutes of our home. We never feel hurried when making financial decisions with any of the team members and it reminds me of the way banking services used to be conducted.

If you are just going to this branch to deposit your money, cash a check, or really basic services this branch will suit your business needs If you are trying to complete IRA, ESA or something more complex good luck. They haven't planned well for this and usually have one person taking the brunt on Saturday. You should plan to be there really early and stay the day. Maybe pack a lunchbox The floor design has many hidden cubbies etc ., so you don't know who is going to help you or what their assigned position is ie., new account, car loan, also it lends to the it's okay and wait pattern for staff. Had no idea the manager was the guy at the front desk, and apparently he had lost time with how long it was taking to assist others. If I had known all the above then I could have used my time more efficiently and my teen could have had lunch before starting her shift at work. More to the point the manager could have intercepted the situation and said something about the long wait and offer a better solution. The choice to hide and not engage left his team exposed and left this member looking at a shambles of an institution. To bad a team is only as good as the front line defending it. So left angry and understanding that 80 : 20 rule has hit another what was fine institution. Maybe another credit union will be more competitive and suit the needs of their customers.

I saw some negative reviews of this branch, you should just ignore all of that nonsense. I regularly drive down from Bellingham to Marysville just to bank here and everyone is extremely polite and outgoing. You'll be politely greeted when you come in and when you leave, and the tellers at the front are very kind. And, I've had zero issues whatsoever in the last 3 years I've used this branch.

The location on google maps was incorrect, but I submitted request to correct the location. This branch is open to the public (not restricted access) - it is located inside the building complex next to NEX (Navy Exchange); small, but fully operational. I got my debit card printed on the spot! Yay! Staff was super friendly, professional, and efficient!

I hate to give a negative review to a Navy Federal location, but this place seriously messed up a transaction I had to make. I needed two bank checks from Navy Federal to pay my deposit and initial month of rent, and wanted to withdraw it from the joint account my roommate and I share. I explained this to the teller and got the checks; however, instead of transferring the funds from my joint account, I discovered upon looking at the app to check my account balance that she had taken them out of my individual checking and it was now majorly overdrawn! I called to correct the situation, and the first person I talked to at this branch said they had corrected it, but my app showed they did not, and I had to have a prolonged discussion with someone at the call center to fix everything. Ultimately this all cost me two or more hours of worry and discussion. This was also my first lease payment for my place so could have ended really poorly, with possibly losing the place. Not cool! Everyone was friendly and kind but this didn't instill confidence.

Lady today was so rude! I gave her 763 and said I only need 750 deposited. I accidentally gave her too much and she acted and treated me like crap. Sorry she had to do her job and count money...and God forbid she has to give me back change. I'll be having my fiance pay rent front now on. Then she ask for a phone number.... we come once a month to pay rent here so you do not need to know who's depositing money in my parents account. We are adding money into a account....not taking it out....us putting money into the account keeps you having a job
