The professionalism, expertise, and promptness I experienced when I took my broken MacBook to John was exceptional. He quickly confirmed the problem and let me know how it was affecting my computer, and talked me through what the repair process would look like. He was honest and direct about the cost based on the parts he could source, and he helped me make the decision to call it a loss instead of moving forward with a costly repair. When dropping off my computer, I appreciated the friendliness and thoroughness of the check in process with Diana, and when picking it up I was impressed by the how well-organized John’s workshop was and how professional the business side of things was run. I would recommend this business to anyone seeking computer repair, regardless of brand or operating system—definitely come here first over the Apple store if you have a Mac.

Currently 4 stars, will update if the service ends up worth it. My only issue so far is that they had a huge problem communicating progress, if you quote a date something should be done by i expect an update by that date at the least as its professional to do so, will give it a few days to see how my fixed pc runs

Took laptop in to get fixed and was told they would call me soon 3 weeks later I called and it was still sitting on the shelf.

John and Chris ~ I occasionally stop and remember what life was like while you were involved with my company, White Security Systems inc.Then I think of how things ended for Ray and where he surely is now.And those thoughts, make me give thanks to Gods timing. I’m grateful for the truth and for being free from whatever messed up IT laws codes or beliefs you all practice. If people value privacy, morality and ethics they will steer clear of your services.Losing Ray was Gods gift to me. I stopped suffering on that day.

I was told the hard drive is the reason for the laptop not working and was talked into getting a SSD drive when I dropped it off. I indicated that I need it back rather sooner than later and was told that I would get a call when ready for pick-up. Never received a call.When I picked it up, John had only transferred part of my documents. I had to spent 90 minutes waiting around for the rest of the documents to be copied. Interestingly enough John was able to access my documents on the old hard drive without any problems, although allegedly it was so damaged!At home I noticed that MS Word was not on the laptop anymore. I called and talked to Diana, she asked John what he can do about it and I was told because of hurricane Ian (in Florida!!) he can't do anything right now. Last time I checked MS was In Redmond, WA. What has that to do with Ian in Florida? I was told I get a call back regarding that issue. Never received a call.I also noticed that all my bookmarks were not copied and was told that John was not able to transfer them because the hard drive was sooo damaged. But he had no problems accessing the hard drive earlier?John told me he repasted the processor because the thermal paste was dried out. I find that hard to believe because I had cleaned the fan and repasted the processor 8 months earlier and was lied to earlier anyway.I went to another computer repair shop. The technician had no problems to copy my bookmarks, he commented "the hard drive is old but healthy and most likely the OS was the problem". In addition, the volume buttons didn't work, the USB ports on the left side did not work after John's repair, MS activation was not done and were all then fixed by said technician. First time I had JPComputers work on my laptop and this was the last time, too. Overall, an extremely disappointing experience, just another case of overpromise and underdeliver. The slogan on the advertising signs in Marysville "fixed right the first time" is a complete joke.

Great explanations of terms and processes when dealing with computers. Staff is easy to work with. Costs for parts and repairs were well within present standards. Will see them again soon.
