Great place to take your pet if you want to spend money on tests and medications that your pet doesn't need. In house tests are wrong as confirmed with another lab. Their main goal appears to be upselling as much as possible without regard for your pets well being. Look elsewhere.

My son's dog is very apprehensive and the vets here are very patient with her to help her be calm and trusting.

Extremely happy with our experience!
Our pup desperately needed a dental and a fatty mass removed. After being in the field previously, I have a hard time trusting leaving our pups. Especially miss high anxiety crazy pants! Wilderness hit it out of the park! Constant communication from both staff via text including a post surgery picture and a phone call from Dr Eagen. Our total was even under the given estimate!
We will 100% be back. Thank you to the entire team for taking care of our baby and being so patient with her.

Everyone I spoke to, the lovely front desk, the Vet Tech, the Doctor herself, made Leo and me feel so relaxed. They were all so informative and kind.

Each person I have interacted with over the many years my family has entrusted Wilderness Vet Clinic with our dogs and cats has always been courteous, helpful, knowledgeable and caring toward both humans and animals. We are very thankful for each and every one of them, and trust them with each of our pets with every need and throughout every stage of life.

Thank you for taking the time to explain diabetes to me. They extra information you gave me put my mind at ease. I was looking for a new vet, one that actually cares for the animals, and I do believe I found one!

Dr. Kidd is hands down the best vet ever! She is extremely knowledgeable and compassionate with every animal she comes into contact with. You and your pet will not be disappointed when you meet her and see first hand what kind of caring human and vet that she is. ❤

I go there because they have my complete TRUST. They care for our furry and not furry charges. I wont go anywhere else even though there are closer vets to me. Don`t hesitate to take your fur baby here.

The front staff is super sweet. Especially for how busy they are. Each time I have gone in, someone had just or was in the process of cleaning the floor. Floofers are messy! The flexibility I was given in the care of my pup was amazing. Communication was a little slow back and forth but again, I totally expected it because they are so busy and they give the same great care to each patient. They were great with my pup and my kid! Looking forward to our next visit!

They got my cat in same day when I noticed he was having trouble urinating. Dr. Kidd and all the staff were very compassionate and took really good care of my cat. They did all the right testing and were able to diagnose quickly. They saved me a trip to the emergency vet and lots of money. Very thankful!

Whatever you do, don't fall for the labs to check for worms. It's a waste of $87 and they'll tell you they found nothing even when your pet has visible live worms in their stool. They say they're looking for eggs in the stool and completely ignore the grown worms that are present and try to get you in again to spend more money. I get we're living in a capitalistic hellscape, but wow is that taking advantage of your customers and the love they have for their fur babies. Came to get my dog checked for worms and an ear infection, they helped clear up the ear infection but the way they handled the labs and the worm situation was trash.
My pupper dealt with worms for two weeks as it took them a couple days to get back to us only for my colleague (former vet tech) told me to order broad spectrum dewormer. As you can see from the pictures my dog still had worms even though they told us they couldn't find any. Blind much?

Dr. Stevens is the best. I have had such great experiences at Wilderness because of her. She takes the time to get to know your animals and does a very thorough assessment. My dog has no anxiety about the vet because of the time and care they have given her.

0 . WORST vet experience of 15+yrs I've had. Definitely NOT recommended. Try at your own risk. In their appt pre care they suggested bringing your pets blanket and treats for comfort. I did so. When the vet came in to introduce herself to my pet he had his treat while laying next to me on his blanket. I mentioned he has his treat and she said "that's okay." First time meeting each other she walks up to my pet and starts petting him immediately, checked his heart then reaches towards his mouth with the treat still in his mouth. She puts both hands up and he turns away from her from distrust and swallows the treat! She says now she was worried it could puncture through, will need surgery at my expense because they were persistent to say it wasn't their fault and "I wasn't the one that gave him the treat." They refused any accountability and by "they" I mean the manager I spoke my concerns with on the phone. She agreed it wasn't her employee's fault, yet wasn't even in the treatment room to begin with. This could have been prevented when I mentioned he had the bone before she even introduced and started examining my pet. Concerned of the surgery, puncture and possible internal bleeding they mentioned I was furious. Transferring blame, showing zero sympathy and accountability isn't the way to treat your patient or guardian of the patient let alone a customer in general. Everyone knows that internal bleeding can lead to the death of anyone's pet! I asked why she said "it's okay" and to have me take the bone from him in the first place when I first mentioned he had it? Instead of being understanding and taking accountability they blamed me as the parent when at the time of the incident, my pet was under the hands of the Vet at that point. Unprofessional, lack of customer service, support, accountability, knowledge, poor judgment and approach with the team and Vet here. The perfect recipe to surgery, thousands of dollars spent, tragedy and loss of your pet. BE CAREFUL.
