I thought this store improved, but not really. Each time I call, the lady on the phone keeps talking over me not allowing me to speak. Not sure what is her problem. She asks a question, and why I try to answer, she keeps talking over me. This happens every time, and not just one time thing.

The absolutely worst customer experience i ever had as a painting contractor! Got to the store solid 15 minutes before opening, standing next to front door . Got ignored by older lady (manager?) for 20 min while she was busy doing her stuff. When finally was able to get inside I was defiantly informed that she got other orders (that she was taking while ignoring me standing outside and looking at her) and that would take her another half an hour. When I asked " you know I was first, right?" She replied
"Well, why you just can't go to other store?" (Which I did)
Never ever I encountered such a rude and entitled store clerk!
Save your day. Avoid this place.

Nice, helpful staff who worked quickly. I brought in a SW can that I wanted to have recreated in a different gloss level and paint type, and I was concerned it wouldn't match but the final result was perfect. I was concerned about the streaks I saw as I was painting but they mostly disappeared after drying. Really impressed.

The manager Kailyn (sorry if I spelled that incorrectly) was super friendly & extremely knowledgeable. She was so helpful after we had a paint job gone wrong and even came out to our house after her shift to help us out. I couldn't be more grateful. Nice knowing there are some genuinely kind and generous people out there;)

I went into the store, gal acknowledged that another person was ahead of me, no problem. Then she helped 3 other people who may or may not have been ahead of me (I'm the only one standing near the counter)... and did not acknowledge me at all. I left the sore, went home & ordered the paint I wanted on line. Unfortunately I didn't get to ask a live person the questions I had. 23 hours later, I still haven't received notification my paint is ready to pick up. Should've gone to Home Depot and avoided this project delay & frustration. Lesson learned considering the other 1 star reviews.

They are super helpful and on their game there. My paint was mixed fast and I was in and out of there in like 20 minutes. O I got 45 gal of paint so 20 min was pretty fast

The most unfriendly,combative clerk I ever met. I had my 3yo son with me, she had 3 customers in total in the shop, yet she ordered us around.Strongly suggest finding a different shop

So this is a first, I've never given the same company multiple 1 star reviews but once again Sherwin Williams you deserve it! After swearing I would never go to another SW I found I needed to get some paint for the interior of my house which was originally done in SW paint and the best way to get the same color is to go to the original paint manufacturer with the original paint code. So I went to SW in Maple Valley and told them I was needing paint to do touch up work and I needed the same paint that was originally used in the house and gave them the SW paint code, hoping my experience would be better than my last I left the store hopefull that this time would be different. So the color wasn't a match it looks like I have a shawdow every where I used the new paint. I went back to the store to inquire about what guarantee they' had and I was told there was nothing on a "match" after explaining to the woman 3 times that it wasn't a match and I had used the SW color code number, I was told if wanted more paint I would need to purchase some more but they would give me a whopping "additional 10% discount" which I wasn't against, I just didn't want to purchase another $85 gallon of paint again that wouldn't be the right color again. So things pretty much went downhill from here. I think my favorite part was when she asked me if I got the same level of SW paint as before because "contractors don't typically use Emerald" and I'm thinking "you know, that would have been really handy for you to mention that when I bought the paint since I explained to you what I was doing". What's interesting is I called SW customer service and they do guarantee the color on their paints but not "matches" shocking! So I guess like the old saying goes arrogance and stupidity are a dangerous combination. Sherwin Williams customer service please don't add something to my review for me to call you. I went down this road with you guys last time and no one calls you back and it's trully dishonest that it gives the impression that you care about customer service, so no need to waste my time or yours.

Customer service has become adversarial and argumentative under the new management. They are difficult to work with. I will not be returning to the Maple Valley store. I will conduct my business with the other Sherwin-Williams locations from now on.

Cannot emphasize enough how unpleasant my experience was today at this location with BRANDI. The attitude and complete lack of customer service was impressive.All I wanted to do was buy a peel paint sample from the floor, but she was too busy to even find out what I needed. I waited for at least 5-10 minutes while she worked on orders in the back. That's fine, but what I didn't expect was the immediate attitude when I asked if I could buy my paint sticker real quick. She had to then explain that she's so busy with other orders. Brandi was extremely rude, and I responded in kind. She didn't like that and continued to make the purchase process a pain in the butt, going to the other register in the middle of my short purchase to help another customer, leaving me at the credit card machine, purposely not pushing the right button so I just stood there and waited. I will NOT do business at this location as long as she works there.The other employee at least asked me if I needed help initially (I didn't) when first looking at paint chips. Also: super unprofessional to have the "employee" room door open, right there next to the counter, with employee's children in there watching tv or whatever they were doing. Very strange. At least close the door!

Not happy waiting for service while employee is entertaining a family in the mixing area. Then tells me she cant match my paint cuz its 4:30 and they close at 5. Close at 4:30 then! Sheesh
