Frank and hai academy are top notch! He's an extremely friendly and articulate instructor, where the academy is as competitive as it is friendly. Highly, highly recommend checking it out if you're in the NOVA area! 10/10

This is probably going to sound a bit hyperbolic, but it really isn't. I can't recommend this place highly enough. I've had the opportunity to train at a few different gyms, and while they were all generally positive experiences, Bingo has created a uniquely welcoming and supportive environment. His instructors are also extremely knowledgeable, thoughtful, and approachable. The kids class also looks like a blast. There's no gouging you by requiring the purchase of an up charged gi with a gym patch. The fees are honestly probably below market. Bring yourself and your kids in, you won't regret it.

Phantom is an awesome place to train at! It is also very family friendly!I can't say enough great things about everyone there! Bingo is amazing and does a great job at making everyone feel welcome. Leo, Rod, Tyler, Jaime, Mike and Shannon are also all very great and welcoming instructors! I really couldn't tell you how much I've learned from this place and improved my stand up and ground game.I know Brian, Josh, Shane and Chris have been helping out with the kids class and I'm sure there may be a few others I missed but those guys do an amazing job with the kids.Ladies, if you want to learn Jiu-jitsu or just to defend yourself, Shannon coaches the gals most of the time and I've seen Simone in there coaching a few times and I can tell you from rolling with these two and everyone else I mentioned that they know their stuff!If you're thinking about checking it out, or you're on the fence, come check it out! You will be impressed!!

I've been training at Phantom for about 3 months and am really loving it. Higher belts are very kind and friendly and won't hesitate to help out beginners. Overall a really good vibe and excellent instruction. Would certainly recommend to anyone.

Honestly, I was a little apprehensive with my 5 yr old son learning jiu-jitsu at such a young age, being that it is definitely full contact. After seeing how involved the coaches are, I was quickly at ease. My son was all smiles the whole time. It was so great to see how excited he was to participate. I was pleasantly surprised how the kids were wrestling and not getting their feelings involved. Everything is very closely supervised and I didn't see anything that made me concerned. We've done gymnastics, soccer and have tried getting involved in a few other extracurricular activities; this is the first time he was so excited to go back. This is a great program!

Frank is a beast - he's a great instructor who can break things down clearly and plainly. I had the pleasure of learning from him while I was training at Brunswick Jiu Jitsu and it's great to see him open his own gym. I'd highly recommend this place.

My 9 year old daughter has been taking classes here for a few weeks now and she absolutely loves it! She adores Bingo and his wife (owners). She is extreemly vocal about what she likes and dislikes and she can't stop talking about the fun she is having and what she learned in BJJ.

Contact the owners through Facebook and they were helpful and informative. For an women getting into the sport I choose this place because they have a women's class on Tuesday and Thursday from about 7-9pm - Shannon is an excellent instructor but there are other instructors that help that are awesome! I am enjoying the community, the sport, being more aware of self defense and have really liked being a part of this group.

I have studied martial arts for 43 years and have seldom seen a school with such an amazing culture. I enrolled all my children, my wife, and myself and truly believe anyone would greatly benefit from this academy's coaches.
