Stopped in at Janet's for the first time during the outbreak in 2020. Been going to her ever since. I've gotten my hair cut at a couple other places for convenience sake and always regretted it. Janet's a wonderful lady and I'll miss her as our family is leaving the area. If you're in Maple Valley, WA give Janet a shot. She does great work and isn't part of a large chain or parent corporation. That's local business there.

This is my first time taking my daughter here for a hair cut….. she was super nice, she sat her on the chair and did a straight cut in the back of her head which is fine. I thought she was going to finesse it more but she did not. It was uneven and choppy I had to take her somewhere else to go get it fix… I will. Or be bring here again.Service: Hairstyling

I have been going to Janet's for years. She is an amazing person who does great work. I moved down to Thurston County a couple of years ago and I still drive north to have my hair cut by her. It's worth the drive!

I have been getting my haircuts from Janet since when she was still cutting hair at a chain store in Maple Valley before she opened her own salon, Janet's Sheer Genius.Janet is an amazing stylist and more importantly an amazing person. I recommend her to anyone that wants great service to continue to support her small business as we all continue to try and get through these hard times.
