Went to buy a pair of shoes only to discover there was five right handed shoes no left no signs of anykind nothing Monica the Manager came over this was her department. I showed her five shoes all right handed she didn't see any problem and was rude to boot.. After shopping at this store since it was built. This is the worst experience I've had here. Did nothing but waste my time if you can't afford to have somebody in a department. Then close the section and sell more toys.... If I could give a zero I would have. .... Follow-up went to Fred Meyer in Covington. Signs all over saying see sales assistant people were helpful. I've always gone to maple valley but I'll be going to comington from now on.

I can get mostly everything I need under one roof. Groceries, sporting goods, automotive and garden goods. They have clothing and furniture along with a pharmacy. Fred Meyers gas station on the side of the store.

QR CODE SCAN FOR PICKUP ORDER DOES NOT WORK. ABSOLUTE JOKE, WASTE OF TIME. THEY BLOCK YOUR INTERNET SIGNAL IN AND NEAR THIS STORE. DISGUSTING PIGS.

I love this Fred Meyer of Maple Valley. I am able to find what I need mostly every time. They are all friendly here and helpful. Sometimes I feel like they might have more fish and seafood options, but it's not a problem.

The General Manager at this store should be fired. This store is always a complete disaster area. The store is dirty, shelves look as if there was a recent run like during a snow storm or pandemic. Shelves are half empty, the shelves that do have product are messy and disorganized. I am ALWAYS leaving this store without 10 - 20% of the items on my list. Things like vinegar and baking soda to broccoli and numerous frozen items to bird food and COFFEE! How does a grocery store in the Northwest REGULARLY not have ANY whole bean coffee on the shelf? When I shop at FM in Covington or Kent, or I go to SAFEWAY in MV, I find it a completely different experience. The stores are neat and clean, shelves are stocked and neatly arranged and they're not out of 10-20% of the items on my list. I've managed a grocery store when I was younger, it is not rocket science. You set a par for each item and when you find you're ordering your par every time that means you've run out of that product and your par should increase to ensure having that product on the shelf for your customers. Also, don't, for example, have 3 brands of garlic croutons. If you're going to have three brands of croutons how about a variety? A GM's job is to see where the holes are in your coverage each day and then YOU, as a GM, fill that void. Whether that be cashiering, stocking fresh produce (don't start me on moldy and damaged produce in this store) bagging or assisting customers in a myriad of ways. After shopping here for three years I've yet to see a Manager on the floor. I've spoken with other customers in the store and they all have the same complaints about this location. I'm not sure how Kroger is structured but my guess is there is a District or Regional Manager that is just as bad at his/her job in overseeing this location as the GM is at running it. IF someone in Kroger's upper management is reading this, my request is simple, do your job. In today's world there is no good reason for upper management to NOT be reading these reviews and making necessary corrections.

Fred Meyer at Maple-Valley is a decent shopping center for your groceries, electronics, pharmacy, wears, toiletries, sportswear, furniture and travel kits. There are many self checkout counters which is a good thing. I enjoy shopping here.

I love this Fred Meyer. My favorite by far! BUT, the pharmacy is a joke. The pharmacists are rude on the phone (even hung up on me once), have terrible communication, expected me to go find my own replacement for penicillin when they were out of stock instead of communicating with my doctor. Then they said they changed what insurance they accept and didn't inform me. When I called to ask where to locate their list of insurance providers, they told me they didn't know. Now I go to Safeway and they treat me like an actual human being.

I was in doing some clothes shopping and this very intimidating large black man with grey 5 o'clock shadow started following me from the moment I walked in at 10:30 am.I tried to brush it off but he had no cart, it didn't seem like he was really shopping and he went as far as looking at some thongs right next to the ones I was looking at. When I asked a female worker to use the dressing room, he appeared behind me again. I was so scared I left all my clothes with the woman and didn't try anything on. I then went to the food section and down every isle I went he was walking by at the end of the isle staring at me. When I would turn to go the other way before I could get to the end of the isle, he would be there as if he was running around the isle. That's when I panicked and left without what few items I had in my cart. As I was getting into my car I looked back and saw the same man standing in the door way of maple valley Fred Meyer, filming me as I drove away. I was so upset my family realized something terrible must have happened. I returned with my family 1 hour later to ask for the security footage. Customer service called something over speaker. Few minutes went by and that same man came walking up. He refused to give us any of the footage. That's when my family and I realized he worked there. Of course he wouldn't want to incriminate himself. Someone told me hes ex police. Don't know if it's true. I still wonder if he may have followed me when I left the first time. He represents Fred Meyer and I will not be contributing to that sort of stalking, sexual harassment ,rude and aggressive behavior. I've noticed that there are a lot of other troubleing posts on here. That are similar. Please beware
