RIP OFF! I was quoted $500 to winterize my boat over the phone. It was a little more than I have paid in the past, but it was easy and close. I left the boat, a few days later I received a call asking how to start the boat. Hind sight I should have told them to stop, but instead I said, turn the key and press the button. A couple days later the same lady called and said I owed $1200!! Because it is a mastercraft. They had to drain the surf bags and the toilet. MY BOAT DOES NOT HAVE A TOILET AND THE BAGS ARE SELF DRAINING. I pick my bought up and paid the $1200. Now that spring has arrived and sunshine is here, I pull the boat out and notice that they pull the hoses and didn’t leave the boat “spring ready”. I called and asked. She is now wanting me to pay another $300 for that service. What a joke!!

So we had taken out boat to Mill Bay Marina and was told that we had to replace the motor. Brought the boat home and compression tested it. IT just needed a plate on the engine. Posted this back in July. We have yet to receive the promised refund. Even though Debbie swore she put it through. We went back up there in early August and was rudly told she didn't even need to refund him. We are so disappointed in the lack of competence in the diagnosing and the customer service at Mill Bay.

we took a boat to this place when we had issues out on vacation at Lake Chelan, and after having the boat for almost 2 whole days, the mechanic called us to let us know he had not taken anything apart yet, because he was afraid of the fact that the boat had been in saltwater before even though the boat was never moored in salt water, it was only dropped and picked back up so we explain to them that everything on the boat had been torn apart four years ago, and he should have no issues tearing it apart, but he then explained that he had a different motor for a local boat that needed to be swapped out and dropped in that take priority over our needs and our boat so then he was trying to explain that it was too much for him and he was afraid to get started on it and not be able to finish it and we told him that was not a problem but you continue to argue and basically back Stephen say he didn't want to do it and it was red flags so at this point I would say it's a one star review he has wasted my time wasted our money bringing the boat there and now we are back at square one on vacation with no boat. Thanks for nothing.

image We discovered a leak in the seal around the outdrive and the bilge pump was not functional the weekend of July 4. We dropped our boat of at Mill Bay Marine Monday, July 3rd and were told it would take about 2wks. We called them on July 19 to see if our boat was fixed & were told it was. Great news since we were returning July 21 for a week to celebrate our 10yr anniversary. We took our boat out for less than an hour & discovered the leak was still there & the bilge pump was not working at all. The boat was full of water again. We had to wait until Monday to drop the boat back off. Service went from good to horrible. Debbie was rude, condescending, argumentative, talked over us, and blamed us for our boat taking on water saying we did not put the plug in the boat-"REALLY!". We are experienced boaters. We asked what they did to fix our boat and she could not answer us. We have asked several times & to this day have not gotten an answer. Honestly, we do not think they touched our boat, but we were charged/paid almost $500.00. Since we already paid, we had no choice but to leave the boat again on Monday July 24 and had to cut our anniversary week short. She was very rude and could care less that our week was ruined. We were told it would be worked on in about two weeks after they finished a motor pull for a customer, she said had been waiting all summer. We asked her to keep us informed of the progress when we left, and she never called us once. We had to call her and most of the time leave a message because she rarely answers the phone and never calls back. When we finally got through to her to see if there was any progress, she answered the phone saying "your parts are on order" before she even knew who she was talking to. When we told her who we were, she then said there were 2 to 3 boats in front of ours now and they hadn't even touched our boat and would not get to it for at least another 2-3 wks. She then began talking over us and arguing with us again. My husband had enough so he lost a day's work, drove back to Chelan to find our boat behind several boats parked back by a wall untouched. She argued with him again that he could not take our boat, she said she had "parts on order" again, but it was obvious our boat had not been touched. My husband got help from a nice young employee to get the other boats moved so he could get to our boat and take it elsewhere. It is very unfortunate that such a nice family bought this business to give back something positive to Chelan (I watched the video) but is having such a horrible, untruthful, rude person manage it. Her customer service is horrible, the worst I have ever seen. I have been a customer service manager for over 10yrs and in customer service for 40yrs. I have never experienced such horrible service as hers and would never treat a customer the way she has treated us. We would never recommend this company for boat repairs to anyone. She put our lives at danger and could care less and has wasted most of our summer without the use of our boat because of her lies, dishonesty, and lack of organizational skills. She is tarnishing your company, and honestly, I am shocked you do not have more negative reviews due to her.

Aaron at Mill Bay Marine helped me on the spot with an issue I had with my trailer. My family and I were heading back to Western Washington and I was worried about the safety of my boat and trailer. It was a quick fix and Aaron could not have been nicer and professional. I will definitely recommend them to all my friends who go to Lake Chelan for their vacations.

Mill Bay Marine is excellent. Our family went to Manson for vacation and when we dropped our boat in the lake it wouldn’t start. Called Mill Bay Marine Monday morning and they said if I could be there at 2PM Aaron would take a quick look at our boat to see what the issue was.Aaron (shop manager) was awesome. Supper nice and helpful. Boat could not be completely repaired in time for our vacation due to lack of part availability. However, Aaron was able to provide a temporary solution that was safe and reliable that same day. His goal was to get us a working boat for our vacation. And he did that. In fact, Aaron and Frazier stayed about 90 mins (maybe more) after closing time to get us operational. They were slammed with work but were still so nice, genuine, and honest… and staying late to help ensure we had our boat during our vacation was over the top.Thank you Aaron and Frazier!! Office manager was also friendly and helpful.Recommend them to everyone.Service: Engine repair

My family and I brought our boat in last summer after I failed to hook up to the trailer correctly and damaged the boat (thankfully not too bad). The staff was super helpful and courteous. They explained what I did wrong and fixed me up in a jiffy. They were so friendly and expedient and most of all didn’t make me feel like a dummy (which I absolutely was!) for my mistake. I would absolutely recommend these fine folks to anyone needing help with anything watercraft related. Thanks for helping me out!

Boat was dirty, we filled up before we dropped it off and the next day after we dropped it off, they tried to charge for gas. Otherwise I might not have written this review. Clean the boat before you rent it out. Peanut shells, napkins and who knows what else. A cheap pressure washer would be a great investment. We dropped it off, they guy who checked us in was pretty rude. He checked the gas but they still tried to charge me a day later. Also he rammed the pontoons into the dock when he was loading the trailer so I am not sure what is going on.. maybe just a tough day for him. Boat was in rough shape. Also has a big rent me sign on the side. Back gate broken off, cover ripped, steering wheel squeaked like crazy. Other rentals are a lot nicer IMO. Gave it a 3 cause we still had a great time and nothing broke. And it was available just one day before, where everything else was rented out.. so I appreciated that.

This is a fantastic boat rental place! Great company, reasonably priced and friendly staff! Would absolutely rent from them again. We had a very nice pontoon boat for a half day and we enjoyed every minute of it. Looking forward to returning to lake chelan and renting from mill bay again in the future.

I came in the other day for a simple de-winterization, and thanks to Mike and Fraser, I’m out thousands of dollars. ? They both went way out of their way to up sale the hell out of a simple boat service. New tower, detail, and full speaker package, all thanks to them. I had NO intention of buying anything that I did!Good customer service is so refreshing. I feel that they were super honest, and super helpful.Thank you all for being so amazing, and taking such good care of your customers. Every opportunity I get, I will be recommending Mill Bay, all because of these two.
