The store is small but the worst thing was that the lady was very fixed. He thought I was going to steal and it was obvious that he was watching me. First and last time.Lady thought I was going to rob and made it obvious that I was being watched and it got pretty irritating.

It’s a okay store just doesn’t have much stuff, if you want to make tamales all you will find is the meat and chiles

This is a small Mexican store that sell meat and groceries. On the weekends they also sell hot food like Menudo and Tacos. The tacos are $3.99 each a bit costly but are heaping with meat and are very good. I suggest you eat their because to go portions might not be as fat plus they have some really good chili on the table which will cost you more money to go. Be very watchful when buying cooked meat by the pound I've had the butcher load up my meat with fat so let the buyer beware. Not really and service here you basically order your food at the meat counter and eat a one of the tables they only have two. Then pay at the register on the way out. No real ambiance since you are eating in a grocery store. Since it's located in a strip mall there is plenty of park spaces.

I was so disappointed, I went there today 15 minutes before they closed They had their sign ON that said OPEN and as soon as they saw me they closed the door, I was just in front of the door and the attitude of the work was so rude, he could be polite and tell me I'm sorry we are close but NO instead he was rude. They don't even deserve one star because of their attitude.

Love this little market especially for it's marinated Carne Asada meat. They definitely have my favorite recipe.

I made a purchase of meat, a few snacks, and specifically a tree leches cake. When I tasted the cake, it was sour and tasted expired. I dug a bit in the cake and it was a very dark brown color. I definitely DO NOT suggest buying anything here. They are too expensive and not good quality.

This deserves to be the highest rated carniceria around. Most of the taco stands I used to like are lowering their quality and quantities, so I came in search of raw taco meats. This was on a weekday, so I couldn't get the barbacoa, which is only sold on weekends, along with the menudo (soup). I got the pastor (or adobada) spicy pork for me, and the carne asada tenderized beef for my wife. The butcher, and probable owner, was very chill and welcoming, willing to take the time to explain things to a Latin cuisine tourist. The meat was delicious and we were able to make the mouth watering tostadas we can't seem to find anymore. I came back the next weekend and got more pastor and about 3 lbs of barbacoa meat. We found a recipe that looked right, and slow cooked it in a clay pot for at least 13 hours. I tripled the amount of adobo sauce poblano peppers. It's the spiciest barbacoa I've ever had, but man is it good.

I went there today to buy ingredients to make some Tamales for my daughter’s birthday this weekend. Remind you, I’ve been a customer for about 15+ years and never had I had to experience such bad experience until today. I went there to buy meat, maseca, peppers, coffee and the list goes on. I ended up paying $132 and was wrongly charged for a bottle of Pinole that cost $3.99. A guy who was attending the meat section upon arrival was rude to my mom and I and as I proceeded to go pay he came to me accusing my daughter of breaking that Pinole bottle to which I told him to show me the security cameras and he then got to my daughter’s face telling her “are you going to let me lie”, remind you she is only 9 years old. This man refused to show me the security cameras. I proceeded to pay and saw that they charged me for the bottle and so I asked why was I being charged without proof and how convenient it was for them to accuse my daughter since we were the only customers there. I told him that I was going to pay for it but this was the last time I was going to ever shop at this place. He tried to apologize but at this point it was pointless and I warned him about the bad review that was coming his way and he said he didn’t care and to do whatever. This is store has the worst customer service ever. Even when we arrived and said our greeting they didn’t respond. Needless to say I got charged for the Pinole that I didn’t even take home because they kept it. I do not recommend this store at all. You lost a customer today thanks to your rudeness and lack of customer service skills.
