Could have given 0/5 stars. Fitting experience was fine. Actual rental experience, terrible. Received a tux that was listed as the same size I was fit for, but it fit like a burlap sac. Requested replacements (also came in the exact same size???) that wouldn’t go over my shoulders. 2 jackets and 2 shirts, identical size, one set was huge and the other wouldn’t fit on my body. Then, requested more replacements and they tried charging me $40 for rush shipping. What?!?!? The poor fit was their fault! My brother is getting married in 3 days, and I don’t have a tux, despite a 3 week long process with the black tux. Also, I should mention how worthless the customer service was. They didn’t seem to understand that the sizes were inaccurate, and they just kept listing new sizes to try without paying attention to the fact that the identical sizes I already had were very different. Very little effort on their end to make it right.

Terrible quality suits, horrendous service, tons of charges, late with deliveries. Will NEVER use them again and HIGHLY discourage any grooms from using this.

I had to get a tuxedo rental for a black tie wedding this fall, and Joon was so helpful! Joon was very informative, and gave great suggestions when I needed help. The whole process was easy, quick, and very enjoyable. Thank you!

We came in for a tux fitting appointment for myself and 2 groomsmen. We had an amazing experience overall. We worked with June who gave us ample amounts of time and attention and who was very friendly and professional. He took all our measurements and was very thorough, highly recommend!

They didn't leave a return label which cost me $42 and then they charged me $60 for late return fee. I mailed it on Wednesday, it was due to Twitter by Wednesday. And they still charged me. It costs an extra$100 to rent a suit that doesn't fit. Do not use black tux!

Second time using Black Tux. Second great experience! I got the home fitting but it didn't feel right so I went in to do the in person fitting. Joon was extremely helpful and we went through all the different measurements and ways to edit the fit. The end result was an amazing fit so I'm glad we went through the iterations.
Definitely would use black tux again and especially recommend Joon for the fitting! ?

Joon at the Alderwood mall location was super helpful! He was very detailed oriented and made sure I was taken care of. Getting married in a few weeks feels like a lot of stress but this has been the least stressful part of it all! Very excited and will always go through this company. Thanks!!

The Black Tux is an extremely one-note, mediocre suit rental business. I arrived one month before my event to the Alderwood location, expecting to at least get the service I paid for, but what I received was beneath even my expectations. The person who “did my fitting” didn’t take a single measurement. He merely went to the back and pulled out a few garments that vaguely reflected the measurements I provided online. When I asked for additional jackets and pants, he brought out ridiculous sizes that made no sense. I asked him to at least put on my tie, which I also had to remind him to bring out. He told me he “couldn’t remember how to tie one of the top of his head.” Do not use this company.

We arrived at Nordstroms for our Black Tux appointment which was confirmed three times. After traveling up from Tacoma for an hour (for a fitting for two suits for my daughter's wedding) we were informed via message that our appointment could not be accommodated. I tried to get more information from the floor manager at Nordstrom, and they are unable to help. The Black Tux at Nordstrom is apparently non-affiliated but rather just renting space. Without the fitting we would not be able to get alterations on time, so we were left for another hours drive back.

In person sizing appointment was very helpful after having a lot of questions about the try-on I was sent in the mail. The person at the store was very knowledgeable and kept bringing options until it was perfect.
