I was told my moccasins would last, they didn't even last a year. Seems they last as long as the ones at other popular retailers. Was excited about this store as they say they are long lasting but here is proof otherwise. 2 stars because they were comfy but short lived.

Great place. Met the owner of the store while I was there. He was very helpful and knowledgeable about his business. I was very happy with the black sheepskin hat I bought for this winter. The price was reasonable and I would definitely recommend going here for sheepskin or alpaca items.

They were so incredibly helpful, and kind. I found the perfect gift for my girlfriend and she loves her new gloves. Great if you're outdoors often!

Read the small print on your receipt before deciding to buy here. In the flurry of Christmas shopping in a large mall, I had failed to notice that I could not return and get a refund for an unwanted gift without the manager's approval. When I brought the item back, the manager did not want to give me a refund, He asked me three times, "What will you do if I don't give you a refund?" He lectured me about small businesses going under because of people returning items, and stated that soon there will be only Walmart and Macy's. He tried to convince me that store credit was the only option. After ten minutes of this, I did finally get a cash refund, but left the store feeling like I will never shop there again. Which is a shame, since the merchandise is beautiful, however the customer service is poor.

Walked into this store and tried on a couple of sweaters. Obviously this is a husband/wife owned store where they "double team" to get you to buy. Liked one sweater and asked if there were any deals on the day. Woman told me to ask the man. Got to the cash register and the man gave me a price which was what the woman had said. He then said this was not Macy's and he couldn't deal. Then I said I wasn't interested. Then he said the sweater was hand knit and you couldn't buy this kind of alpaca anyway. Meanwhile I am wearing a t shirt that indicates I am a knitter. So obviously I know this is a con. I look at him and then he says I can have it now for twenty bucks less. I walk. What kind of store do you negotiate prices with? Is there a different price for each customer? Is this weird or what? Also the alpaca is out of Peru and not the greatest for the price being asked.

If you find something you like here then you'd better find something else you like too. Because if you decide that you don't like it you won't be getting your money back, only in store credit. I calmly asked the woman that was helping my wife with a return (that essentially became an exchange) if there was any scenario in which someone would get their money back. A man standing next to the woman, that turned out to be Berndt the manager, head suddenly snapped up and said in an intense fashion "Yes. If you're a total a******** I calmly replied "So it is possible to recieve a cash refund." Berndt seemed to be on a bit of a tirade and said "Of course it's possible! It's possible for me to hand you $30 out of my pocket but I'm not going to. If you have a gun and tell me to give you $50 of course I'm going to do it..." I told Berndt "you seem very passionate about this." So there it is. Berndt equates cash refunds for new unused merchandise to armed robbery. There were some other grievances Berndt had about other stores liberal return policies and was very proud of the uniqueness of his store. I guess I struck a nerve with my simple question. They have amazing products here and the woman was very helpful and perhaps Berndt was burned out from the holidays but that was the first time I'd ever stepped foot in Sheepskin & Alpaca specialties and that was my experience.
