I have bought shoes at several SAS shoes over time. This time I ordered a pair of navy sneakers--I would not have clicked onto anything but navy. Instead I was sent a pair of black sneakers, same style. When I called to get navy ones instead, as I had ordered, they told me--in a somewhat "I am right; you are wrong" snarl--that I had ordered black ones. No, I am positive I did not, and their sales slip could say anything it wants. Though the other SAS shoes elsewhere pay for return shipping--even when they are not at fault!! this company insisted that I should pay the return shipping as I had ordered wrong. I know I did not; I needed navy, not black, and I know how to click onto the right spot to get what I need. I will now order correct ones from SAS San Antonio, where I have had good service.

We are trying to buy 4 shoes for our worker. We normally receive discount if you are working in the restaurant. But this location just do not care about customer at all especially the man that work here today. Told me that he work here for 6 years and never have any of that program. I personally recommend you to go at northgate location. They will take care you Better and also take care people’s who are working in restaurants industry. Highly recommend to check north gate location.

Love Birkenstocks but since I got my new SAS sandals, I wear them all the time. They are the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn.

Very disappointed in the service I received. The store only stocks a few mens shoes and when I tried to order a pair I got nothing but excuses about when my shoes I paid for would come in. First it was just a week, then my order got messed up and it was three weeks, then maybe in a month.

After researching a specific size and width of shoe online, I was directed to SAS Comfort Shoes in Lynwood, Wa. I placed an order on Jan. 8 using Citi credit card in the amount of $185.00. On Monday, Jan. 10, I received an email from the owner of SAS Comfort Shoes indicating the shoe I ordered was no longer available. I requested a refund and that was that. After 7 working days (Jan. 17) and no refund, I contacted Citibank for direction and a dispute was initiated at that time. On Jan. 19 I sent another email to the store owner for additional information regarding the still missing refund and received a reply Jan. 21. Per his email, he initiated the refund on Jan 10 but the credit card processor bounced it back a couple of days later. To me, 'A couple of days later' would be Jan. 11th, 12th, maybe the 13th. Did he bother to inform me of that particular glitch at the time? No, he did not. Did he later chastise me in a responding email for initiating the dispute -- yes he did; shame on me for initiating a dispute after I had asked that he refund the cost of the shoes and from my end, he did not do as he said he would. What I write next is exactly why I mostly avoid 'mom and pop' operations --due to cost, small businesses often have credit card processing systems that are vastly different than larger companies. What happened here is a result of that. In his email of Jan. 21, the owner claims that he accepted the dispute as uncontested since his credit card processor made the mistake but on Feb. 8, I contacted Citi regarding the status of the dispute and learned there has been no activity on this complaint from the business owner or his bank since the dispute was initiated. Citi has placed a conditional credit of $185 on my account that will become permanent should the vendor decide to not refund the cost of the shoes that don't exist. I do appreciate Citi's consumer protection but that benefit is not meant to absolve a vendor from his/her responsibility to honor the refund.

We have been buying SAS Shoes for a couple family members for years now. They are on their feet the entire day and love the cushion that the SAS Shoes provide. We usually bought them online or from the Northgate store. Since that closed, we were happy to find the Lynwood store. We visited the store a little before Christmas, the style I was looking for was not available. The service was great, and I was given a couple suggestions on the closest to what I was looking for. The shoes made a great gift and is well loved.

I just stopped by this store to buy a comfortable walking shoes and the gentleman was not that helpful at all. He was focusing whatever he was doing on the computer. I bought atleast three shoes for family members before from this store and I was going to buy atleast a few shoes today if appropriate help was offered by this person.

Jim at SAS provides the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever had!!! I recently ordered two pair of SAS sandals to replace some I’ve had for 10+ years. I ordered two different sizes cause I didn’t remember what I had ordered previously. I figured I could exchange the one that didn’t fit. The next day I had a missed phone call from Jim at SAS. I called back the following day and left a message for him. In the meantime he emailed me and asked if I intended to order two different sizes or if that was possibly a typo. The fact that anyone even noticed the discrepancy amazed me! Let alone reached out to me about it! That is genuine, excellent customer service! And on top of that, SAS sandals are the most well made, comfortable sandals I have ever worn! You can’t go wrong here. And if you have any problems, Jim will help you!

These folks treated me so well. I have long narrow feet so my size isn't available in very many shoes, EXCEPT for SAS. One pair I ordered was out of stock so they suggested a replacement but I didn't received it. Eventually I learned that the package was delivered to the wrong unit in my complex but I didn't know it until almost a month later. During that time they worked with me and FedEx, and ordered another pair for me. Then my neighbor left the package on my welcome mat. Workers in their home had put the package inside without noticing that it wasn't for that unit. Jim Pelzel with MYSASSHOES.COM is the best customer service contact you will ever find. Buy with confidence from this company.

I have attempted to write this for weeks, but to tell the whole story was too long. I tried to condense it, but I just have so many wonderful things to say about the owner Jim Pelzel and his SAS shoe business. That there was no way possible that I could condense it enough that anyone would be able to still get the full drift of the situation and how helpful and kind Jim is. Thank You Jim. I will forever be beholding to you.Jim and his company go above and beyond to help/assist a person. Even when it wasn't there responsibility to take care of my situation. Jim has definitely restored my faith in humanity. Thank you Jim so very very much. You are the kindest, most caring person I have run into in years. Take care, TDK
