James Russell PLLC handled the tax accounting for my parents' estates for which I was the executor. During this difficult time, Raelyn and Dawn at James Russell were incredibly helpful. Navigating the complexities of estate taxes is not easy and we will always be grateful for how much they stepped in with support and guidance and high level professionalism during a difficult time. Having slightly complicated taxes this past year (2 W-2s, 1 1099, 2 K-1s, and I am a new small business owner) I wanted to make sure that my taxes got done right. Tracy Moshinsky was recommended to me, and I'm so glad I used her CPA services! Not only did she keep things very organized and easy for me, but offered me tax & retirement advise for future years. All in all, the service was a few hundred dollars less than H & R block had quoted me. We have been using Tracy Moshinsky at James Russell to do our taxes and help us with all our business questions for the last five years. Compared to previous Business Tax consultant companies we had used in the past, Tracy has been by far more readily available to us and extremely knowledgeable about current tax law. It was wonderful when she was able to guide us over the years and then tell us when we were operating in the black and that is music to every business owners ears!

I had done my taxes all my life, until life got complicated, and I ended up needing professional help. Parents estate issues, rental property challenges, deceased spouse, change of job, retirement investments -- all were going to be a bit more than I could chew. So I reached out to the team at James Russell, and met Tracy Moshinsky. Tracy guided me through the process of pulling all the correct information, and completed/ submitted all the proper forms, with a smile. Not only did I get my taxes done properly, Tracy went over (in plain talk) the year with me, and asked me about future events, which would affect my taxes in the next year. The old adage is "you get what you pay for" - and, with accounting, if you pay for a professional team, with years of experience, you get just that - professional advice, long range planning, and great local people. Its a truly valuable experience to use James Russell CPAs to help out.
