I’ve been a regular at the Nampa on 12th location since moving here and in Covington Wa for many years. I had an appointment and watched as walking got serviced ahead of me. I was ten minutes early and after 20 minutes from my appointment time I still did not get a hair cut. When asking the lady at the counter she made one excuse after the other never offered to give me any idea where in line I was . I’ve always tipped really well and had good experience. All it takes is one and I’m done.Service: Hairstyling

I had a hair cut from Amanda, it was terrible! It was a simple hair cut, just wanted it shortened, I am a man and have very simple needs for my hair. Just like it short, off my ears and with a part. When I got home and took a shower, I found out that the cut was crooked, the part looked weird because the hair was not cut right for it and I had to have my wife cut one side so it matched the other over my ear. I could not believe how bad it was. I don't usually go to hair masters, but I was in a hurry and my wife and I were shopping at Fred Meyer, so I thought I would give them a shot. Worst decision ever, I will never go back there, nor will I go to Hair Masters at all if these are the people they hire. I called them about my hair cut, and the manager did not care at all. He said that my cut is fine and that I was just trying to part it wrong...yea, you heard me, it was my parting that was causing my hair to be uneven. This is with him never evening seeing the haircut, or when I was even there! No compensation, no offer to fix it. What a joke. Take my advice, and the advice of the other people that have been there and just go elsewhere.

Today I went to the hair masters located on the 196th, in Lynnwood for a blow-dry. Nobody welcomed me, or say hi to me. 2 other ladies just looked at me, and turned there head!!! A girl named Mikaela, came to me, I did ask her how long and how much it's gonna be? She was very reluctant, and said she doesn't know!!! I see I need a number, she said it depends on your hair!!!!;I was standing right there, she could see my hair. Anyway, after checking on the computer, she said $22, and it would take about 30mn, or 45, or 1h, etc!!!!. This is not professional at all, she needs more training on how to talk to people, and on how to answer questions. She took me to the lavatory to shampoo my hair, the place was dirty, a towel was already on the sink, and on the next chair there was basket full of dirty towels!!.I was so disgusted!!.already frère barely 5mn she was done washing my hair.i didn't even feel her fingers, and she didn't use a conditionner on my hair. After, we went to the chair, where there was 2 garbage bins next to me, so low class place. She started drying my hair, after 20mn, I looked at my hair, I was choked to are my hair getting frenzy, and horrible.i told her to increase the heat, and to take small sections, because a have a naturally curly hair.. she didn't appreciate my observation, and she refused, I said I know my hair better, usually it takes 20mn with hight heat to dry and perfect style my hair!!!!! I was so frustrated with her answer, she said you have a very different hair, and she was literally struggling with my hair...nobody came to take over her, or a apologize to me for these racist, and rude comments. But the way I am white from France. I told her to use the iron, she said it's going to be an extra charge!!!!!. What the hell is this, she messed my hair up, and she wanted to charge more money for being rude, and unprofessional with me!!!!??? And the worst part was when her customer arrived, she said I'm sorry unfortunately my customer is here, I'm going to dry your hair fast with the drawer, and use the flat iron to style it!!!!. This was so so so ridiculous, and extremely rude!!!. She took me even though she had another customer coming!! And now she wanted to use the iron to quick kick me out!! She made me feel so uncomfortable, so pissed me off,. At the end I told her to learn how to thank to people, and that I didn't appreciate the way, she was talking to me, or thank he way she messed up my hair, or the way she was handling the hole situation. Usually I go to my hairdresser in Kirkland. Today I had to go to this location, and I sincerely regret. I did pay her, and did top her also, but she didn't deserve it.... she was rude and unprofessional. I doubt there's even a Manager in this location. The light bulbes of the outside sign they are grilled, the store is dirty, worst customer service, on top of that very very low experienced people work there...I am wondering who did hire this girl, and what school did she graduate from.????? Conclusion, I hope the corporate office will see this review , and they will take the necessary mesures.. That's a shame for the brand... I never went to beauty school, but I know to style, and dry, all kind in hairs.without blaming people for the nature of there hair.. advice do not go there, unless you want to be treated like this...

I have been going to the same colorist for several years. If she was not there, I would look elsewhere. I do not cut my hair there; but from I have observed, they do a decent job. I am not sure what is happening but the place looks so sterile and drab, not a place to feel comfortable in. The new manager to be was outside or in the back when the phone rang so my colorist had to go answer the phones. In deference to the manager to be, it was probably her lunch hour. HairMasters you need to fire your decorator and get some good magazines. Pay some high school student to answer the phones. Also, when I called to make an appointment the first time no one answered the phones.

Showed up at 6pm. They are open till 9pm. Sign says walk ins are welcome. There was only one asian lady inside and one person was getting a cut. She said she doesn't have time for me tonight and to come again some time later this week. There's 3 hours left in the day and I don't see anybody else waiting in the lobby. What a waist of my time. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere they actually want your business. They obviously don't care here.

For all those mothers who are looking for a handsome haircut for their boy at a reasonable price every month. Erica is a person you should go to. I am very picky when the haircut comes for my only child. Erica has delivered excellent work. I highly recommend her. She has delivered the same quality of work for me too. She is polite, focused and a great listener when it comes to the clients expectations. When she is at work you will get to know why professionals are sometimes are called as artist!

This review is for Camilla. I am so impressed with your work and will be actively recommending you! I was ready to find an adorable 'do for my little one. She has been reluctant to want to comb her long hair so I knew it was time for a change; something low-maintenance, and tasteful. We had originally gone to another salon for her cut and when I informed the hairstylist what I was looking for, she expressed that a pixie cut for my daughter would be a bad idea - because of her 'ears.' I think my daughter has the prettiest ears and I had faith that a pixie cut would make them even prettier. I was right. I uploaded three pictures for all of you who want to see. I am so grateful for Camilla and I'll be a regular customer from now on! Spread the word! Allison&Amanda

I have never been so disappointed or un satisfied from any hair Solon . My goal was to get my hair dyed a light brown, giving my complete trust into the stylist she suggested to bleach it a bit, I was up for it. At the end result my roots ended up with the color red/orange and the rest of my hair brown.( this happened because she only bleached my roots) The stylist insisted to get it fixed tomorrow because her her shift had ended. I came the next day, she didn't change a lot it still was 2 different colors of my forehead !!! The last thing she told me is "I'll grow back" My advise anyone trying to add color to your hair DO NOT GO To hair master!! P.S I ended up going to Fred Meyers buying black hair dye the next day, damaged my hair and waisted $65 at hair master

I want to start by being honest. I have been in here before, had Lilly wash and style my hair. She complained about how much the hair I have the entire time she was styling it. It has been over a year since I have been in, but I went in to HairMasters today to ask them if someone had the time to color the bottom half of my hair, (I have dark hair with about the bottom three inches red). The woman at the counter acknowledged me after standing there for about 3 minutes and said someone would help me soon. Another stylist came up and I explained what I wanted. The first woman said she didn't have time, that was fine, so the second stylist asked another stylist if she could color my hair. This stylist was quite irritated, left her client, came up front and explained that the woman helping me should look at the book, she could see if she looked that she was booked up. Made no difference to me, but good lord, what an unprofessional place. The one who was helping me had it pointed out that SHE had the time, but she insisted that she wanted to wait for her client that was already 30 minutes late, no call, no show. By now I know that I am not letting any of these women touch my hair, they can't even manage to be professional. I did ask if she had the time, how much she would charge. The answer I got was, "I don't know." I suggested someone must know how much they would charge, so one of them looked over at me and said, "I guess, $50." I left. I will never go back.
