Watched a kind of poor customer service at Macy's Lynnwood today. That employee must've had a bad day. Macy surely will announce for bankruptcy because of their employees!

Their customer service is going downhill like their business. Customer service staff need better training (maybe Macys don't care now). A service rep with a Ukraine or Russian accent had an attitude and showed hostile behavior against customer. Also if you order online, the package arrives at night and somehow is stolen because it didn't come earlier during the day where thieves usually are not around to steal, it'd be all on you. They won't bother to care for anything after your package is dropped off, Customer service said that. Amazon doesn't do this to customers and so Amazon is classy. Macys return policy sucks all the time. You must return apparel shoes merchandises unworn and tag attached.. Nordstrom my favorite, is for classy people. Look up to Nordstrom - a class place!

I received a beautiful suitcase set from Macy's, but I was not excited about the solid gold color. The value was well over $300, but I specifically want pink, so I went to Alderwood Macy's, and they were sold out of the pink set, so I requested a cash refund to purchase the item at a suitcase specialty store, but I was told that they do not give cash refunds, only a credit gift card. I was very disappointed, and surprised with Macy's refund policy (I had the gift receipt in hand).

I ordered my friend a birthday present - wanted to spoil her on her special day! I was excited for her to open it! It never arrived When I called I was told that my package couldn't get delivered because the address was a PO BOX. Why in the world it let me make an order that couldn't get delivered? To make matters worse - I accidentally put my friend's address as billing, so the rude agent in the phone refused to give me any information about it and said that my friend has to call herself. I asked for manager and they put me on hold for 40 minutes and then dropped me. What an awful customer service and unreliable company. Never again!

The shirt I bought was fine. Macy's online presence is a nightmare. They got my email when I paid for the shirt (in a store, not online), and since then I have gotten 4-5 advertising emails every single day for months. You can imagine what a mess that makes of my inbox. The emails consist of unreadable CSS gibberish, there is no working link to cancel or unsubscribe, and Macy's does not honor a mailed request to unsubscribe. Macy's is actually the worst e-mail spammer I have ever dealt with. If you must buy something from Macy's, don't give them any personal information. It's not safe.

There is 0 customer service any more- I have been a customer since the 70's. There used to be people you could call to sort things out. Rarely needed because things were run very well. Now Its a nightmare to try to get someone to fix a problem. Deliveries not showing up, being charged for them, not getting refund, etc. Oh well...

Wow, I felt like a criminal exchanging a defective pair of jeans! They called a manager and they requested an ID! Although the item is only sold at Macy's and made for them, and the manager can clearly see the length is defective, he still managed to make feel like I'm trying to cheat them!! The funny part, the jeans is only $30!! The sad part; once I got home I saw the jeans I got had a broken loop. And now I'm afraid if I do another exchange I'll be stripped of my citizenship and deported to Antartica!!

Well...I really don't have to add to the countless one star reviews, but I feel compelled. Mostly, I feel sorry for the employees who make a few cents above the current unlivable minimum wage. The low pay relects in their downtrodden dispirited attitude of not caring about doing their best. I experienced this off-putting attitide whenever I used to shop there. I no longer do. As one of the other reviews stated, the store DOES resemble a Ross. Messy and full of cheap goods. I was interested in buying a belt. I thought..."It's Macy's...the store will have quality belts." Wrong! All the belts were imported junk and were all poor quality as well as, over-priced. There was no one in the Men's Department to help me. Many of the Check-out areas had only one person and a line of people waiting...for their inconvenience. Due to the low pay, the turnover must be very high. The hand sanitizers I tried to use were all empty. What really surprised me was the way the employees were dressed. There must not be a dress code. I saw worn shabby Levis, wrinkled shirts not even tucked into the pants, scuffed shoes, and no one dressed in a professional manner. It's most likely because the low-wage exploited employees can't afford to buy nice clothes. They waste all their meager wages on food and rent. Obviously, there is a lack of leadership to create a dedicated esprit de corps among the troops There is no pride in working for Macy's. We, the customers, suffer. Macy's was once "THE place to shop". That ship has sailed...along with quality products, and dedication to working for a company that was once great. "So long and thanks for all the bad attitude."

I will start with the positive - the only positive about this particular Macy's there is one good part of the store and that's the make up department. Tomoko is amazing, Alecx (sp?) is a gem. they know their stuff, or extremely customer service oriented, and they are pretty much the only reason I will travel 30 minutes to go to the store The rest of it is so unbelievably low class. We did upfront customer service for several minutes this morning while the customer service person chatted with a friend, completely ignoring me even though I saw her and her friend both look at me. Then she was remarkably unhelpful with a return, I will leave it at that But the real crap experience was the jewelry. I purchased a bracelet there several months ago and it broke. I went to see if I could get it replaced or fixed and was told things like "we don't fix fashion jewelry" by somebody who was barely looking up from her phone. Zero problem-solving skills in trying to figure out who made the bracelet, how to help etc. I even asked her if she could look online and she made it seem like that was the most inconvenient thing ever. Her boss said to look online and can you believe it... She found it in about one minute, printed out a list of all the stores that still have the bracelet, handed it to me and told me to call those stores to purchase a new bracelet. When I asked why I had to purchase a new one instead of having it replaced she looked at me and said "HONEY, we are not going to do that for you" seriously... Honey? I am a grown ass adult and she is in the service industry, who the frick does she think she is not only calling me honey but in a totally dismissive tone like that? I will never order anything from Macy's again, I will only go there for the make up/eyebrows

Not sure what happened at Macy's but it is not fun shopping there any longer!! I usually go shopping at Macy's at least twice a month if not more. I went last week and I went again today and the whole store has been rearranged and is very unorganized and hard to find anything!! The women's clothing racks are so full and very unorganized!! My friend said she felt like lwe were shopping at a glorified Ross!! My friend and I were trying to find a dress and cotton tshirts. Felt like a maze!! We were there for about 1 1/2hrs and never once saw anyone working there to help us find what we were looking for!! No sales people at all!! When we were ready to check out there was only one cashier and five people in line in front of us. We ended up going over to a nice young lady at the Lancome Make up counter and she was able to ring up the purchases!! Also they no longer carry NYDJ!! What's going on Macy's ?? Very disappointing !! I hope this will change soon and get back to the organized nice looking Macy's!!!

5/4 Great service. 5/5 Great sales with your rewards card. VIP sale was going on to receive an additional 30%off items. 5/5 Fully staffed. 5/5 Great selection and marvelous sales. This was a great shopping day for my significant other and I. He purchased Puma Gear and purchased for me shoes, boots and jackets. Prices great. A lot of good clearance items. Fitting rooms were clean ( no clothes left in the stalls), good lighting and 3 way mirrors. Good shopping experience. I definitely recommend this location.

I want to add some information to stephanie lopez's review. Because i don't work here anymore. I don't represent this company and writing on my own behalf. I changed my job before ( worked last week). The entire review is a lie. She was professionally served and me personally apologized three times for not finding the right size. I also cheked if online order is available. I exceeded my duties and showed her on the screen that we don'd have the size she needed even in the system. No one raised a voice at her. At this time of the year, the store is very crowded, and sometimes the store employees have to help three people at the same time, so it takes time. She was standing right next to our computer and was the first to get rude to other employee for checking the availability of sizes for other customer, because it seemed to her that the employee somehow SIGHED wrongly. After that, I heard that she complained about us and discriminated against us with the words "they spoke their own language" (although she herself spoke her own language)My colleague and me spoke in our languege to speed up the process of finding a size for this lady. (since we discussed where it can be found.)It's funny that when i apologized to her many times, she said that i shouldn't apologize and that it was not my fault. And then she wrote an angry review with a lie here. Unfortunately, this person doesn't have patience and respect for other people.Thank you for reading.

I went Christmas shopping and decided to stop buy Macy and look at shoes from Finish Line. I found a pair i liked no one was around to help for sizes as 3 female cashiers where talking in the cashier area & didn't even bother to help costumers or walk around. I went up to one of the Cashier name Yeva who was super rude/ attitude very unprofessional !! I asked her for a size and she rolled her eyes at me as she was too busy chatting with the other cashiers . She left and took more than 20 min to get me the shoe and came back with a attitude raising her voice that they didn't have that shoe in stock. I asked for another size of a different shoe and she left didn't bother to "sorry we don't have any " only nodded her head. I would never buy from this shoe place or from this cashier! I Hope they fire this employer as she shouldn't be working there if she doesn't have the manners and patience with costumers.
